Facebook and Twitter were member favorites. Partnerships made us stronger. We connected on Connection Day. We honored exemplary PTAs, educators and legislators that set the example for others who want to make every child’s potential a reality. Students demonstrated their gifts and talents through Reflections. Students and faculty scholarship applications were astounding. We successfully passed all audit requirements and are looking forward to exciting changes for PTA financial management. We broke ground for our new office which will open in 2015. The new headquarters will boast a volunteer training center.

Financials/Audit Millian & Company, P.C. audited the accompanying financial statements of Texas Congress of Parents and Teachers (a nonprofit organization) which comprise the statement of financial position as of October 31, 2013, and the related statements of activities, functional expenses and cash flows for the year then ended, and the related notes to the financial statements. In the firm’s opinion, the financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of Texas Congress of Parents and Teachers as of October 31, 2013, and the changes in its net assets and its cash flows for the year then ended in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America.
