New Member Spotlight! Keller Williams Realty - Gregg Katzenmaier

Go With Gregg – The Service Never Stops Gregg’s mission is to create a successful long-term relationship with his clients by providing industry leading knowledge, information and service. “My real estate practice has taken me all over the Twin Cities, but it’s the north metro where I feel most at home.” Gregg would like for the community to feel comfortable asking for advice with any real estate concern. “Most people think the only time I can help them is when they are looking to buy or sell a house, and that’s just not the case. Quite often other real estate needs arise and many people don’t know who to call. For example, you may have a home improvement or repair need, finance question, or maybe you just want to know what the house down the street sold for. What I want you to know is that I can help you with any of these questions. Any call is welcome!” 612-325-0676 Gregg@GoWithGregg.com www.GoWithGregg.com

Annual Report Fiscal year: July 2008 to June 2009 This past year has provided us with a new economy, and your Chamber of Commerce has succeeded. Here are some highlights of the past fiscal year. Had 82 new business members join the chamber, and months with over 85% membership retention, which led to an overall chamber membership growth. Implemented a new Tiered Investment Membership package, which allows the members to pick their membership value and company involvement. Created and implemented chamber approved Legislative Positions, which will allow the chamber to better support businesses in the government. Held first TCN Chamber only Business Expo with 65 booths & hundreds of attendees. Recreated an Aging Resources Committee which will provide your business with information for your workforce. Had increased attendance over the previous year at our largest events, the annual Gala, Breakfast Networking and the Spring Golf Tournament. Created and held first TCN Chamber Leadership Academy with 12 graduates. Implemented the capability to allow members to register for events &make payments online! Had 41,629 unique visitors to the chamber’s website. Had the best volunteers in the country! 2009 & 2010 are shaping up to be decent as well. The Chamber is averaging about ten new members a month. The Public Policy Committee has become very active and is working on some issues that will affect your business and the Board of Directors is detailing goals which will define us as a premier Chamber of Commerce. Those goals revolve around this theme. If you have a question about business, we want to answer it. 1)

2) 3) 4)

Continue to be a business advocate within the Government. We have already set forums for the upcoming election, are working on “how to run for office seminars” and have introduced the “Breakfast with the Chamber” legislative breakfast. We attend city council meetings and educate on business positions. Continue with strong networking opportunities. Wondering how to increase sales? Business to business connections are invaluable. Be a hub for business resources. From aging resources, to succession planning, to developing leadership, we want to have the information for you. Increase membership. The more value we offer, the more members we will have, which will in turn drive more value for the members.
