Putting Your Ideas into Action

2

013 is upon us and the New Year is a perfect time for setting goals and contemplating the future. With this perspective in mind, it is the ideal time for entrepreneurs to take an idea and turn it into action. Often times this can be an intimidating and stressful path. The Temecula Valley Entrepreneur’s Exchange (TVE2) provides an excellent environment for innovative start-up companies to take the next step toward business growth and development. For entrepreneurs with a fresh idea, TVE2’s incubator program offers a place to grow, collaborate, and learn. Incubator services and programs are designed to increase a start-up’s likelihood of successful development and growth beyond what the client company could achieve on its own. Offering value-added services is key to the incubator’s ability to successfully spinout

graduates into the community generating jobs and wealth in the region. TVE2’s business incubator includes low cost furnished work stations, mentoring and professional services, and facility amenities. TVE2 is the ultimate environment for start-up businesses that are ready to set goals and see real growth this coming year. The incubator is currently home to two technology focused start-ups, NZN Labs, Inc. and Anywhere Science, Inc. NZN Labs is developing wearable technology that will have the ability to track activity data for extreme sports enthusiasts. Anywhere Science’s LabStrip turns an iPhone into a personal mobile laboratory with the capabilities to test and interpret data. The New Year is a time to set goals and put them into action and NZN Labs and Anywhere Science are examples of the immense possibilities that are open to entrepreneurs at the business incubator. The New Year is not only a time for new ventures, but also for existing businesses to reflect on what the coming year has to offer. For businesses ready to take things to the next level, TVE2’s Regional Business Resource Center provides resources for new and existing companies throughout Southwest Riverside County. Resources include workshops on business related topics, and business counseling and assistance provided by the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center and Economic Development Corporation, both located on-site of the Resource Center. The Tri-Tech Small Business Development Center will also be available to provide services as needed. In addition, Cal State San Marcos at Temecula will be scheduling classes and events at the Resource Center. The City of Temecula’s TVE2wants to see your business grow and is looking forward to the opportunities that the incubator and resource center will bring to the region this year.
