It’ a good time to see what your trees look like in the color change to see what other trees and colors you could add to your yard or forest to enjoy even more colors. Once it was thought that you needed to fill these gaps to protect the tree...but now it is known that trees created covers themselves and compartmentalize damaged areas. Check out the fall colors of Ginkgo, Red Maple, Japanese Maple, Crapemyrtles, Black Gum, Sweet Gum, or Chinese Pistache for your color variety.
