MOI guidance service for immigrants advises on: • study options, career planning and visits in study programs • recognition of previous studies • applying to studies and selection processes • study-related fees and financial aid for studies • study skills in higher education • Finnish language study offerings • language, health and functional capacity requirements in higher education studies
In the MOI Guidance Service, you can ask more about studies or book a tutoring appointment. The appointment can take place at Turku UAS campus, International House Turku premises or online.

Degree programs • • • •
You can complete a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree. You can study daytime, in the course of work, or fully online. Previous higher education studies may be accepted as part of a Finnish degree. It may shorten the length of study. Some of the degree programs are also available in English.
If you do not need a degree, you can apply for a shorter higher education diploma or competence training. In path studies, you can complete studies which are part of the degree and apply for a degree program without an entrance exam. You can also complete individual courses. Studies are free of charge for the unemployed and furloughed during the academic year 2022–2023.
Preparatory program for higher education studies • • •
We organise a preparatory program in social and health care and business and technical fields. Studying is free of charge. You can apply for financial support in the TE Office. Preparatory program includes field-specific Finnish language studies, mathematics, English and general study skills — it is exactly what you need for higher education studies!
