Joe Adams is one of the most prolific quarterbacks in TSU history holding the record for career passing yards (8,653), career passing touchdowns (75) and career completions (604).

During Brian Ransom’s historic 1981 season, he set the school record for yards in a season (3,182), completions in a season (221) and completions in a game (36, at UT-Chattanooga).

Leon Murray is the only Tiger to throw for over 400 yards on more than one occasion. He tossed for a school record 491 yards against Murray State on November 14th, 1998.
