Carol King was the guest speaker at a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Tryon. King served as district governor of the western North Carolina District of Rotary International in 2009-2010. She presented an update to the Rotarians on the important work of the Rotary Foundation, a not-for-profit 1x3 corporation 1x3 supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundationtwhose mission t ends 8/10 restarted 7/3/07 is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.
