Where do our students go when they leave us?

Trinity is committed to ensuring that all students choose the right path for them, so that they can fulfil their potential in every walk of life.

This year – a very competitive year for entry – saw over 92% of our A Level cohort securing their first or second choice of institution. This included: 13 students heading to Oxbridge; nine opting to study Medicine and Dentistry; three studying Architecture; one taking up a sports scholarship in the US; another heading to conservatoire; and five being accepted onto highly competitive apprenticeships, including two at EY and one at PwC.

This wheel shows the number of students opting to study at particular institutions over the past five years:

A wide range of pathways reflects our students’ talents and passions

Out of 2023’s cohort of 168 students, no fewer than 24 chose courses with a professional placement year or opportunity to study abroad. Sixteen chose to study Economics; Engineering and Business and Management are still very popular; and 14 students chose Mathematics and Computer Science courses, double the number from last year. There is a trend towards combined courses too, allowing students to continue pursuing multiple interests at university, such as: Modern History with Economics, Geography with Business Management, and English and Sport Science.
