GET IN THE SWIM This school holiday Our swim sessions are FREE to Junior Active members #SPLASH @ Mounts Baths For children age 8-16, no adults allowed! A chance to have some fun on our aqua run. You must be able to swim 25 metres of a recognised stroke to take part in this session.
#SPLASH @ Lings Forum For families with children 0-16, a chance to have fun on our aqua run and slide for the older ones and shallow water themed inflatables for the little ones. Suitable for all ages, ratio of two children under 8 per accompanying adult.
DISCO SPLASH Available at: Danes Camp Fun swim session with the latest tunes every Friday night for 8-16 year olds.
FAMILY FRIENDLY SWIM Available at: D anes Camp and Mounts Baths A chance for families to spend some swim time together. All children must be in the water with an adult and only two children under the age of 8 per adult. The flume at Danes Camp does not operate during this session.

INTRODUCTION TO DEEP WATER
Helps you overcome any fears with swimming out of your depth. These fun lessons will work on treading water, jumping in, floating, submerging, entrance and exiting and building your confidence to be able to swim in deep water. Skill Level: Stage 3+ - be able to swim 15m of any stroke.
Try Stage 2
TRY STAGE 2
Designed to help students progress from Swim England Stage 1 to Stage 2 by building confidence in the water. Work on improving coordination and introduction of recognised strokes. Skill Level: Stage 1 - confident submerging, be able to travel without aids. Be able to blow bubbles in the water.
FRONT CRAWL BREATHING
Work on your breathing technique, improve stamina, coordination and help to achieve the technique required to achieve distance badges. Skill Level: Stage 3+ - a recognisable front crawl arms and legs technique. Be able to swim 15m of any stroke.
BREASTSTROKE IMPROVERS You will work on your coordination, timing, starts and turns. All skills needed to develop and improve your breaststroke. Skill Level: Stage 3+ - be confident in deep water. A recognisable breaststroke arm and leg action. Be able to swim 15m of any stroke.
BACKSTROKE IMPROVERS
You will work on your coordination and skills needed to develop and improve your backstroke. Skill Level: Stage 3+ - a recognisable backstroke arms and legs technique. Be able to swim 15m.
Water Fun
Come and try our new variety pack of swimming fun activities. Including lifesaving, water polo, synchronised swimming, personal survival and more. Skill Level: Stage 4+ - be able to swim 25m of at least 3 recognised strokes. Confident in deep water.

Booking Conditions All children attending crash courses must be aged 4 plus. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the centre whilst lessons are taking place. Booking is available 8 days in advance for Junior Active members and leisure card holders and 5 days in advance
for non-members. Payment is required at time of booking. 24 hour cancellation notice is required for Junior Active members, otherwise a charge will be incurred.
