These turbines will generate enough power to supply around 32,500 homes. Purified water In addition to using water from the local water company,
companies can also choose to use purified water from the water treatment plant linked to the sugar plant. Residual heat The residual heat generated during the sugar plant’s manufacturing processes can be utilised by the local greenhouses. It can also be used by other companies established in the area. The network distributing this residual heat runs via the collective cable and pipeline corridor.

The CO2 produced during this anaerobic digestion process is also very suitable for use as a fertiliser for the local greenhouse sector.
