Cameron Diaz famously snagged a unit in 2013 and a penthouse closed for $40.73 million last year in an all-cash deal, after going on the market in 2013 for $47.5 million, according to the Wall Street Journal, which said the buyers, a California couple, plan to use the 6,500-square-foot apartment as a pied-à-terre.
