During product manufacturing, antibacterial technology is incorporated into handle injection, lasting for their entire working life.

The Professional Master’s range offers the same knife models in different colours just so each working shift can can perform at its best. HANDLE INJECTION • Blades are given polypropylene (PP) handles. • Microban® antimicrobial treatment is added to the polypropylene. • To prevent the formation of gaps between the parts, where waste might gather the handle is injected directly onto the tang of the blade. • Handles are produced to facilitate knife cleaning and hygiene inside the packing houses and conforming to health-inspection requirements.
HEAT TREATMENT Ensures the proper resistance to edge wear is achieved, it changes the steel structure to increase blade strength and hardness. The process is completely controlled with temperature and hardness gauges and by analysing the internal structure of the steel with a microscope. It is divided into three stages:
TEMPERING • Blades are heated to temperatures of over 1000˚C, then quickly cooled. • The stainless steel blade becomes hard and resistant to wear but with low resistance to impact and
SUBZERO • Improvements to the structure occur after freezing the blades at a temperature well below 0˚. • The blades are frozen to give the stainless steel excellent stability and resistance to wear.
• At this stage the structure of the stainless steel still needs improvement because some parts are still not completely hardened.
• Solves the problem of low impact TEMPERING stage. • The blades are heated to temperatures above 300ºC, leaving the items with hardness levels of between 55 and 58 HRC. • Blades display excellent resistance to • Steel tensions generated in the earlier stages are removed.
