e really appreciate the continued support of our program. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again it is the people in the cattle business that makes all the miles, all the work, and all the time spent worth it. We are bringing you the heart of our program in South Dakota with the Irish Whiskey daughters. Irish Whiskey has not only changed our program, he’s changed the industry as a whole and taken it to a whole new level. If Whiskey was still alive he’d be turning 12 this year and his demand is as high as it has ever been, the cattle work, they work on the open prairies of South Dakota, and in programs across the Nation. His popularity is unprecedented, everyone knows who Whiskey is, he will go down in history as one of the greatest sires ever. His ability to cross with so many different sires and breeds is unbelievable. He has been crossed with every breed, every size, every different type of cow and he clicks. I don’t know why but this year getting ready for the sale has been more stressful and demanding than years past. When times get stressful and you wonder how it’s all going to get done you see everyone starting to come together and you realize that you’ve got a great crew. We spend a lot of hours on the road, South Dakota is a second home. Ken Birkeland is quite a man and I wish all of you could meet him. There is a lot of back and forth and in between with crews going in Oklahoma and South Dakota. Everyone has to do their part to keep Griswold Cattle running, and everyone has done just that. This year Jeannie and I had Maggie and i cant believe how our lives have changed she is quite a blessing and I’ve come to realize that the only way you can ever repay your parents for what they did for you is to be a great parent to your own kids. Mom and Dad your the glue that keeps everything together and we love you. I really appreciate the crew we have and how much work they’ve done. Not only in getting ready for the sale but it’s busy here year round. Everyone gives 110%, if they didn’t we couldn’t make this work. We have a crew second to none with a lot of behind the scene time and work, Thank You! We’ll keep on keeping on, making sure we’re bringing you the best.
