UTAS

Network Rail Approved, Extended Universal Track Access System, ideal for renewals sites. TPA is firmly established in the rail sector as “the” principle provider of safe, effective, value for money temporary roadways, walkways & access systems. The Universal Track Access System (UTAS+) is the latest addition to TPA’s range of portable access equipment. With its customary rapid installation time, this longer RRV rail track access system shall provide a superb all round solution to the on and off tracking of road rail vehicles.

The Benefits The Universal Track Access System or UTAS+ is designed to enable longer rubber tyred & tracked road rail machines to get on and off track safely and provides the following benefits; 1. Avoid damage to equipment including the rail head 2. 50 tonne load bearing 3. Total rail head protection 4. Network Rail Approved - Certificate No. PA05/03902 The Process The UTAS+ has been designed to enable longer road rail vehicles and equipment to mount or cross the rail quickly and safely. There is now no excuse for accidents caused by sliding off old wooden sleepers or for damaging the troughing.

Installation Time • Full ramp kit, inclusive of the 3 sections can be fully installed and ready for use in less than 20 minutes. • Deployed in just 3 lifts by an excavator/crane with lifting chains.

Quick

No tools are required for installation or removal, both done in minutes.

Note • The UTAS RRAP is not approved to be used on the Bull Head Track style of rail line, due to the clearance and “chairs” in which the rail sits.
