RB22 Barrier
The Highest Approved Plastic Barrier system on the UK Highways Approval List. TPA’s RB22 is one of the quickest deployable Barrier Systems on the Market. A versatile yet strong, flexible one-piece system provides for easy installation. TPA’s water-filled RB22 crash barriers are manufactured from prime UV stabilised polyethylene, designed to withstand impacts from vehicles traveling up to 50 miles per hour, making them ideal for bordering off roadworks and areas where highway maintenance is being completed. Developed to protect pedestrians and drivers alike, these half ton-exceeding (when filled) barriers absorb speed when hit by wayward vehicles, deflecting them away. The RB22 barrier interlocks with reinforced steel pins, featuring pivoting walls allowing for curves or turns. MIRA Wind Speed Test Result 3 x RB22 Barriers (water filled to fill line) withstood wind speeds peeds of up to 77.9 mph. No barrier failed at the given speed.
