“RADIO GALS” runs Aug 21-25 and Aug 28-Sept 1, 2019 A delightfully kooky, toe-tapping comedy that will have our audiences rolling in the aisles! It's the roaring 20's, and we are in Cedar Ridge, Arkansas where retired music teacher, Hazel Hunt has opened her front parlor to the "Hazelnuts". These women are having the time of their lives performing outrageous musical numbers on the radio. There is only one problem facing the Hazelnuts. This is 1927, and the airwaves are about to be regulated!

Visit the brightest light in CanadaTM The Canadian Light Source is a national research facility, producing the brightest light in Canada – millions of times brighter than even the sun. One of the largest science projects in our country’s history, more than 1,000 scientists from around the world use our light every year to conduct ground-breaking health, agricultural, environmental and advanced materials research.

The Barn Playhouse creates a full event out on the farm. The yard opens at 5:30 pm with food booths, live old-tyme music and horse-drawn wagon rides in the pasture. The show begins at 7:30 pm. Sundays, the food booths open at noon with the show at 2:00 pm.

Pion-era 2019 July 13-14 | 9:00am - 5:00pm daily Western Development Museum | 2310 Lorne Ave | 306-931-1910 | wdm.ca

For over 60 years, friends and families have been creating memories together at Pion-Era! Experience the Museum as it comes alive with the sights and sounds of prairie farm life in the early part of the 20th century. The whistles of the steam engines, the clang of the anvil, the smell of fresh-baked bread and the gentle rocking of wagon ride will take you back in time. Children will love the games and crafts in the Kids’ area, open each day at 11:00am. Take in the fashion show featuring styles from years gone-by. Join us on Saturday from 9:00 11:30am for the Harvest Pancake Breakfast. The cost is $5 plus gate admission. On Sunday, enjoy brunch and live entertainment. Brunch tickets are $40 per person and include Sunday admission to Pion-Era. Tickets for the brunch must be purchased in advance. See you there!
