Spring Summer 2012

If you have a little girl 4-7 years old you probably have watched an Olivia episode or two. The cute charismatic pig is sassy, and makes a great party theme for your Olivia Lover. We threw an Olivia Party using a local community center, handmade goods from Etsy, and creativity—all on a budget. When planning a party see what your local community center has to offer. The party packages offered at community centers keep kids busy with party fun. We picked a play dough party, where children make their own play dough as well as decorate their own cupcake. The children had fun making play dough, icing cupcakes, dancing and playing party games.

The children enjoyed turkey {no ham here}, broccoli mac-n-cheese mini pies made using the Bella individual pie maker and fruit skewers. Making your own party food cuts down on cost. Displaying food can be affordable too using pretty silver dishes found at the party stores or dollar stores. We used dollar store silver serving plate and a crystal candlestick holder to create a sophisticated cake stand. !
