NEXUS 1000 STICK The NEXUS family of sticks completes BAUER’s 3-Family Fit Story by offering a third flex profile to accommodate the shooting styles of a broader range of players. NEXUS has a TRU-Mid flex profile, created by a stiffer middle portion with softer handle and hosel areas. The result is a stick with a quick release and a very natural feel. NEXUS connects tradition with innovation with a feel similar to wood but with the energy-enhancing recoil benefits of composite.

ULTRA LIGHT QUARTER NEXUS 1000 utilizes an ultra light quarter package that provides the player with an “easy load” on every stride for efficient energy transfer and fast acceleration. The straight wall construction allows the player to exert maximum power while absorbing and managing energy transfer to the skater resulting in a smooth and efficient stride.

ULTRA THICK PRO FELT TONGUE Ultra thick pro felt tongue with molded metatarsal guard, provides maximum comfort and protection from lace bite.

DEEP V HEEL FIT NEXUS offers a “DEEP V” heel fit that locks the player’s heel in place to ensure the skate reacts to the player’s every movement the way they intend. With BAUER’s deepest fit, players will experience quicker take off speed, increased power and maximum comfort.

Anatomically correct Curv速 Composite* upper and insole provide a more comfortable fit and more responsive skate. Through anatomical thermoforming, the skate is heated so it can be formed around the ankle and heel, giving a true 360属 custom fit for any foot shape.

When the playerâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s mouth is closed, the chin should fit comfortably into the chin-cup. Flexible segmentation has been added to the caps of the APX protective equipment, giving the player an increased range of motion for improved on-ice performance.

VAPOR shin guards feature a tapered fit profile. Tapered fit is defined as a larger, volume fit in the top portion of the shin and narrowing to a form-fit in the lower portion of the shin shell.

State-of-the-art moisture-wicking properties help regulate body temperature and prevent the build-up of odors and mildew. A 3-dimensional feature has been added to the liner to help improve overall comfort level of the equipment.

Engineering for optimum player performance requires taking fit, stance and stride characteristics into consideration. State-of-the-art construction gives the VAPOR APX pant a true ergonomic fit, allowing the player to adopt a natural stance more easily than with traditionally constructed pants.

Pants are one of the heaviest pieces of equipment hockey players wear. To minimize weight, the VAPOR APX pant features Vent Armor composite in the spinal and kidney areas to maintain impact properties while reducing weight by 25% vs. traditional HDPE + foam combinations.
