Tip Have monthly goals when planning your own wedding. If you spread out planning milestones well, you’ll be able to research more without feeling pressured to choose a vendor or make a decision you wouldn’t have otherwise made. If I could have done anything differently I would have made more lists for the day. The day of the wedding I kept calling Josh and our roommate to pick up random things I had forgotten to pack. I ended up completely forgetting the pinwheels I had made the flower girls to carry until it was time to go down the aisle.
