Any bride that is planning a wedding, especially one that is from a different culture, should really do her research when picking her vendors. Working with someone that has done a wedding similar to yours makes a huge difference. Ask them if they’ve ever done a wedding like yours; ask them to show you samples of their previous work and don’t be afraid to ask for references. For me, it made a huge difference working with vendors that had covered Indian weddings before. Their comfort level with navigating the Indian ceremony helped us, our family and guests enjoy the day without worry!
