This magazine you are reading represents a brand-new beginning to Full Throttle Magazine & Multi-Media. To some people this is dumb and stupid, to others it is the obvious next step towards being the media to come to when you want information on what is going on in the motorcycle community is Florida and beyond. We will no longer have a monthly printed issue of Full Throttle – it will be read completely online on our website. We are still producing a monthly magazine, but it will be completely read online! The first question is probably why? There are multiple answers to this question so let’s start with price. The average cost per magazine when I started working with Full Throttle and my dad (Paul Allen) in 2000 was around $0.50 per magazine (Fifty cents) this past issue that was printed (Nov 2023) cost over $2 per free magazine we hand out. And not all the copies we put on the shelves are being picked up by people. Most come back to our office and find their way to the dumpster. Now I’m not in business to throw away money. Yet every American person has a cell phone in their hand and has an email or is on Facebook or Instagram or some form of app. We will push our digital copy so you can read it in your hands while on your cell phone for FREE!!!! You are already looking at it. We will be creating BRAND NEW content daily! We will not be sharing other people’s funny stuff they post or pictures they took. We will be what they call “CONTENT CREATORS”. All our content will be shot raw and edited for your consumption. We will be doing a lot of Video podcast with influential people in the state of Florida and the motorcycle community. We are going to sit down and get to know the people behind the scenes and the people in the spotlight. We are building a CRUISING CALENDAR that will have all the

8

upcoming events in the state of Florida and beyond. We will list all the Nations events across the states, and all the great events happening here in Florida. We will be the website you want to visit to find out, “What’s the next big event?” Because that’s what everyone wants to know! Our advertising prices have dropped, and you are going to get more for your advertising dollars. If you buy an ad with us, it will now be posted multiple times on our social media pages, on our weekly email blast and talked about on our live video podcasts. MORE FOR LESS!!! More advertising for Less Money! We are here to help events be successful and help people know where to go and what to do. We will be recapping events and showing more pictures and videos from events that have happened. We will have all the information you need to plan your next riding weekend. We are going FULL THROTTLE for our readers. We are looking for people to interview and to do video podcasts with, we are also looking for product reviews. If you have a product and would like us to review it contact us and let’s start a plan. We will make videos of us trying out your product and others and seeing what the people say. We are bringing on a video team who will capture and create new videos we will be sharing with you weekly. We will be videoing bike nights and poler runs and all over the state of Florida, not just the Tampa Bay Area. We are looking for 10 Partners to work with in 2024 to make your business a huge success!!! On the page across from this one is our 12-month business partnership. I say partnership because you will be our partner for the entire year of 2024. We will make you commercials, you get (3) 5-minute video podcasts over the year, you will get a FullPage ad in each issue that is created and published online, banners on our website and on our weekly email blast with links to your website as well as boosted posts on our social media pages. This is very new for us here at Full Throttle Magazine and Multi-Media so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask us. We are excited as we know this new venture is going to be able to reach new customers and readers across the state of Florida and beyond. I hope you all have a very happy and Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. Be safe, be smart and don’t drink and ride and I’ll see you in December!

The Diva Angels Herricane Chapter was started to reach women motorcycle enthusiasts in North Pinellas/Oldsmar/ North Tampa. We usually ride North and Northeast, but we have been known to go wherever a run we are supporting may lead us. We try not to make it about the destination but about the journey, comradery, fun, and the empowerment of riding on our own. We are a small group compared to the established chapters, but we are open to women who want to share the riding experience with us and part of a sisterhood. We had a great time supporting our Pasco sisters at their “Taco Explosion” fundraiser to support “Hope in Motion”. Also, you may have seen us out at Cotee River Bike fest just taking in the music, sights, and having fun. Look for us at the next Suncoast Brotherhood toy run this

There is a big difference between “righteousness” and “self-righteousness”. The mere mention of the words usually makes both the non-believer and the believer quite uneasy. It convicts of deep-rooted pride. It exposes selfish hearts, a desperate need for redemption and for significance. Christians of ages past have abused the theologies of salvation and righteousness by judging, condemning, shaming and, even killing anyone who would dare question them. One only needs to read on Theophilus, Patriarch of Alexandria or the “inquisition”. The inquisition was a powerful office set up within the Catholic Church to root out and punish heresy throughout Europe and the Americas. Beginning in the 12th century and continuing for hundreds of years, the Inquisition is infamous for the severity of its tortures and its persecution of other faiths. Its worst manifestation was in Spain, where the Spanish Inquisition was a dominant force for more than 200 years, resulting in some 32,000 executions. The hypocrisy of this conduct while they themselves were filled with vile motives of controlling masses through guilt has been well exposed. Today it I would dare say is no different but more insidious. Contemporary “Christians” for the most part are happy in their comfortable pews, their posh luxurious sanctuaries and their

28

theologies lecturing the rest of the world about dos and don’ts. Preachers preaching that following Jesus will bring our “self” above all and material/financial prosperity are abounding. They will gear their messages to appeal to selfishness rather than hard truths. They hide behind the veil of virtues pointing fingers. The vicious infighting, slander, and gossip among believers only further tarnish the message of love they should be seeking to share. They will spare no efforts including taking loved ones from each other and turning on one another. They sell billions worth of books and merchandise or concerts tickets preaching a message of “love”. Except for a few genuine souls I have been blessed to meet, their actions speak differently. That’s why, in part, the world is angry with them, laughs at them and discredits them. That is why the churches are embarrassingly dwindling in numbers. And that my friends makes satan quite happy. The bastard sits there laughing playing on everyone’s emotions so long as he can successfully distract us all from Truth and our responsi bilities towards Truth. The rest of the world is not much better. The cults of “self” and “self-love”, “victimization”, “entitlements” and, “rights” or, “do what feels good to you” or, “relativism” are dangerous poison to the human soul. Everyone’s MO

now it seems is that the world has to revolve around one-self. Everyone now is an expert at identifying narcissists, psychopaths, sociopaths and etc… so long as they don’t have to look in the mirror. The new age now teaches to worship self, fortune, stones, rocks and trees and we call ourselves expert spiritual advisors. Purity is mocked. Bold unsanctimonious conduct is celebrated. The world has conveniently forgotten the values of selfsacrifice, forgiveness, humility, honor, loyalty, integrity, love and, eternal life. Men are vilified and emasculated. Women are taught that corporate life is far superior to giving life and the value of motherhood. Children are confused. Masses put their faith in crooked fallible political stripes. Rumors of war and hatred between people is growing. Slaughter, rapes and beheading of innocents in the name of money, religion and power is growing and seems to be justifiable. That is all a result, in part, and a response to the hypocrisy of the fraudulent sanctimonious religious out there. The world feels justified in those responses because they see through the so-called self-serving religious quite clearly. And that my friends again, makes satan quite happy. The bastard sits there laughing playing on everyone’s emotions so long as he can successfully distract us all from God, Truth, our responsibilities towards Truth/facts/history, ourselves and, each other. So long as there is strife among us causing us to react to emotions, lies and, forget the freedom Truth provides. Emotions have become more important than facts and the pursuit of truth. Simultaneously, the secular world is not immune to its own pitfalls. But then there is Christ, His life and, His recorded teachings. Christ was born by humble means. He lived with humility. He exposed the religious pharisees, their hypocrisy calling them the vipers that they were. He chastised the self-righteous followers in the temple for their capitalistic ways within the walls of His house. He loved (still does) the sinners in a manner that made His message irresistible to desire change within their own heart. He called bs what it was whether you were a saint, a sinner, a woman, a man, sick, healthy, rich, poor, conservative or liberal. He was very clear about the value of women, wives and how critical it is to honor them. Otherwise even husbands’ prayers would not be heard. He fearlessly addressed the human heart and it cost Him His life. I thank God for the wolves among sheep in churches because it makes Christ’s teachings even more evidently relevant. I thank God for the world’s response to those wolves because it reenforces the values and the Truths Christ has planted so powerfully in His three years of ministry. It brought the world to its knees. That’s why the world hates Him. He exposes the fallacies of both camps for the discerning eye to see. Thank you God! Christmastime serves as a poignant reminder of the stark contrast between the teachings of Christ and the often-hypocritical actions of those who claim to follow Him as well as the world’s. As we immerse ourselves in the festive spirit, let’s reflect on the distinction between

righteousness and self-righteousness that has plagued both believers and non-believers alike. I dare you to read the gospels and see for yourself the travesty of both camps. Then what? Well, put your faith in Him if you are granted to see the essence of His purpose. If you find that you don’t quite fit in the religious or the non-religious demographics, chances are you are probably on the right track. If you find you fit well in either camps, beware. In the midst of this discord, we still and will always find solace in the life and teachings of Christ. He exposed the hypocrisy of religion, emphasizing the importance of genuine love over self-serving actions. His uncompromising stance on the value of individuals no matter their race, gender or sin, challenges us to honor and respect each other. Christ's message addressed the core of the human heart showing us the way, the Truth and the Life. As we celebrate Christmas, let us not be blinded by the shortcomings of the Church or the world and the hatred that can stem from both views. Instead, I challenge us all to let the teachings of Christ guide us toward humility, genuine love, and an unwavering commitment to truth and personal growth. May this season be a reminder that, despite the failings of individuals (including myself ) and institutions, the message of Christ endures as a beacon of hope and transformation for all. 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. Flipping through the pages of last month's edition of Full Throttle reminded me of all of the reasons I love the biker community. Every other page, an advertisement for a toy run. Proof of clubs and riders giving back to the communities where they live and work, and looking out for the kids who need them most. When I was three, I went on the first of what would be a lifetime of rides. Too young to hold on, I sat on the gas tank and knew that feeling was better than anything else in the world. I remember my mother telling me once at a festival, if we got separated to go up to any biker in their leathers and tell them that I needed help. That message stuck with me and has served me well in life. On the sides of highways, in parking lots, smokey bars, and dark alleys; any time I’ve needed one, a biker has come through for me. The public image of the biker as some hulking outlaw has started to fade, thankfully, and it wasn’t by chance. Many clubs and organizations have given riders a new forward face, one of charity and community service. The funny thing is, that’s always been the biker community. They pass the hat. They fundraise. They take care of their own, and when necessary, they take care of yours, as well. ‘Bikers are the most charitable people in the world’Tony There isn’t a holiday season around these parts that isn’t set to the tune of roaring mufflers up and down the county roads. It’s been that way for years, probably not changing any time soon, either. Thank God for that, or a lot of families wouldn’t see much for Christmas, certainly not here in Polk. As I started to gather contacts and research this column, I scrolled through webpage after webpage of charitable events for area kids, put on and participated in by the biker community. Thing was, it wasn’t the ads that caught my attention.

44

It was the people in the comments, asking where to send donation checks if they were out of town, or if the Harley dealership serving as the starting point needed a Santa for the kids. Even those who couldn’t physically ride at the event were willing to give their time, money, and resources for kids needing their help. “Heroes don’t have the need to be known as heroes, they just do what heroes do because it is right and it must be done.” - Shannon A. Thompson The old outlaw trope seems illfitting once you hang around the biker joints for a while. They aren’t just the guys and ladies your lost kids should look for in a crowd; they also fight animal abuse, support our veterans’ organizations, donate books to child literacy programs, and a host of other community service and outreach work is performed by them. Most of the time, you just have to ask. Between poker runs and toy drives, hundreds of millions of dollars have been raised and donated to those in need locally. These events aren’t limited to the holiday season, either. You can find them advertised every month, right here, and hundreds of thousands of riders have given their time and money simply because they had it to give. Not for anything in return. Not for their name on a plaque, or any other form of recognition. They know that there are families who wouldn’t have a Christmas without them, so they give. And they give freely. There really isn’t another group of people so generous with their time and money, and I’m thankful I’ve been able to call bikers my family since I took that first ride. Please ride safely this season and look out for one another. The holidays wouldn’t be much without y’all. ah

Hello Florida!! Well January will be my 9th year with Full Throttle Magazine. There are so many stories and things I could write about those years but instead I'll do it with photos..What a ride it's been. I took this job on a whim after meeting the FT gang at “Gibtown” while trying to avoid the person who brought me there ! It was a drastic switch I needed from the life I had. This job has seen me through sickness, health, divorce, loss and success. My kids have grown up at bike events and I've made some beautiful friends .Tony has taught me everything he knows about bikes, events, judging and so much more. I love you Boss! Here's to 9 years of fun and amazing times. I'm not sure what the future holds for me right now, the truth is I've been very sick and it's time to take care of myself and step away from the world for a minute. My next project has to be myself! Thank you for listening, for reading when I poured my heart into an interview or column. I have shared more here than on my own social media or with most people in person. Writing is different and it allows me to open up. I can't just hit delete when I'm feeling vulnerable. Merry Christmas and Happy 2024! Thank you for all the love and friendship you've shown over the years. May God bless my biker family,
