Tragen Sie Ihr PIEPS LVS-Gerät mit dem mitgelieferten Tragesystem am Körper, über der untersten Kleidungsschicht. Der Karabiner der Sicherheitsleine sollte mit der angebrachten Schlaufe verbunden werden (=empfohlene und sicherste Variante).

Carry your PIEPS beacon using the supplied carrying equipment, on your body and outside the innermost layer of clothing. The clasp on the safety line should be connected to the appropriate strap (=recommended and safest option).

Pour porter votre DVA Pieps, utilisez le harnais fourni en le disposant par dessus la couche de vêtement la plus proche du corps. Il est fortement recommandé de connecter la boucle de la bretelle de sécurité à la sangle appropriée (option la plus sûre).

With the PIEPS Checker it is possible to quickly and efficiently check the transmitting function of any beacon. A beacon check is a standard safety measure on any tour outside of controlled areas.

Die Weltneuheit PIEPS iPROBE Carbon, eine Lawinensonde mit integrierter Digitaltechnik, gibt eine Treffer- und Näherungsanzeige zu jedem normgerechten LVS-Sender aus und ermöglicht ein kurzzeitiges Deaktivieren des gefundenen Senders (bei LVS mit iPROBESupport).

As an avalanche probe with integrated digital technology, the PIEPS iPROBE Carbon is a world novelty. It provides a hit and proximity reading for every standard beacon transmitter and enables a brief deactivation of the detected transmitter (for transceivers with iPROBE support).

La toute nouvelle sonde PIEPS iPROBE en carbone avec technologie numérique intégrée donne des indications d’approche et de localisation à chaque DVA émetteur aux normes et permet de désactiver en peu de temps l’émetteur trouvé (avec la sonde iPROBE).

La novità mondiale PIEPS iPROBE Carbon, una sonda per le valanghe dotata di tecnologia digitale integrata, fornisce un’indicazione del ritrovamento e dell’avvicinamento a tutti i trasmettitori ARDIV conformi alle norme internazionali e consente di disattivare per un breve periodo il trasmettitore che è stato trovato (nel caso dell’ARDIV tramite il supporto iPROBE).

Ab einer Nähe von ca. 2 Metern der Sondenspitze zum LVS-Sender erfolgt die erste Tonausgabe (Piep_Piep_) und die Leuchtdiode blinkt. Ein akustischer Dauerton (Piiiiiiiiiep) und eine permanente Lichtanzeige werden ab einer Nähe von ca. 50 cm ausgegeben.

When the tip of the probe is about 2 meters from the transmitting beacon, the first acoustic signal is given (Piep_Piep_) and the LED lights up. At a distance of about 50 cm a continuous sound (Piiiiiiiiiep) is emitted and the LED remains continuously on.

A partir d’env. 2 mètres de distance entre la pointe de la sonde et le DVA émetteur, le premier signal sonore retentit (Piep_Piep_) et le voyant lumineux clignote. A partir d’env. 50 cm, la tonalité est continue (Piiiiiiiiiep) et le voyant lumineux est permanent.

Da una distanza di circa 2 metri dalla punta della sonda al trasmettitore ARDIV viene emesso il primo segnale acustico (Piep_Piep_) e lampeggia il diodo luminoso. Da una distanza di circa 50cm vengono emessi un segnale acustico costante (Piiiiiiiiiep) e un segnale luminoso ininterrotto.

Unterstützt das Sende-LVS die iPROBE-Funktion, kann der Retter durch Drücken der Taste MARK (Sondengriff) das sondierte Sende-LVS deaktivieren. Durch neuerliches langes Drücken der Taste MARK oder durch das Entfernen der iPROBE-Spitze aus dem Nahbereich des SendeLVS (>50 cm), wird das deaktivierte Sende-LVS wieder aktiviert.

If the transmitting beacon supports the iPROBE function, the rescuer can deactivate it by pressing the MARK button (on the probe handle). By pressing the MARK button again for a longer time or by removing the iPROBE tip from the vicinity of the transmitting beacon (>50 cm), the deactivated transmitting beacon is activated once more.

Si la fonction iPROBE existe pour le DVA émetteur, le sauveteur peut désactiver le DVA émetteur sondé en appuyant sur MARK (sur la poignée de la sonde). En appuyant à nouveau longtemps sur la touche MARK ou en éloignant la pointe de la sonde iPROBE de l’endroit où se trouve le DVA émetteur (>50 cm), le DVA émetteur désactivé sera réactivé.

Se il trasmettitore ARDIV è dotato di funzione iPROBE, il soccorritore premendo il tasto MARK (sull’impugnatura della sonda) può disattivare il trasmettitore ARDIV rilevato con la sonda. Premendo nuovamente a lungo il tasto MARK oppure allontanando la punta dell’iPROBE dalle immediate vicinanze del trasmettitore ARDIV (>50cm), il trasmettitore ARDIV che è disattivato si attiva nuovamente.

(1) Nach der erfolgreichen Punktortung mit seinem 3-Antennengerät PIEPS DSP (nur ein Maximum) startet Retter A das rasterförmige Sondieren mit der elektronischen PIEPS Sonde iPROBE. Der laute akustische Dauerton der Sonde iPROBE und die Lichtanzeige signalisieren dem Retter A den Treffer (0 bis 50 cm am LVS Sender). Retter A drückt die Taste Mark an seiner Sonde iPROBE und deaktiviert damit das Sende LVS (mit iPROBE Support) des lokalisierten Verschütteten C. (2) Automatisch zeigt nun das digitale PIEPS DSP des Retters A den nächsten Verschütteten am Display an. Display-Anzeige: „nur 1 Verschütteter“ (3) Während Retter A mit der Sonde des Retters B nun den Richtungspfeilen seines PIEPS DSP zum nächsten Verschütteten D folgt, beginnt Retter B mit dem Ausschaufeln des Verschütteten C. Retter A eilt nun zum Verschütteten D.

(1) After successfully pin-pointing with his 3-antenna transceiver PIEPS DSP (only one maximum), rescuer A starts grid-shaped probing with the electronic PIEPS iPROBE. The continuous acoustic signal of the iPROBE and the light indicator validate the probe hit (<50cm to the target). Now rescuer A presses the MARK button which deactivates a further transmission of the beacon (only works with iPROBE support) of victim A. (2) Automatically, the display of rescuer A’s PIEPS DSP guides him directly to the next buried victim. Now the display shows “only 1 victim”. (3) While rescuer A takes the probe from rescuer B, following the directional indication of his PIEPS DSP guiding him to the next victim D, rescuer B starts to dig and recover victim C. Rescuer A now is hurrying to victim D.

(1) Une fois la victime localisée grâce au détecteur PIEPS DSP à 3 antennes (seulement un maximum), le sauveteur A sonde en dessinant un quadrillage avec la sonde électronique PIEPS iPROBE. La forte tonalité acoustique de la sonde iPROBE et le voyant lumineux signalent au sauveteur l’endroit où se trouve la victime (0 à 50cm du DVA émetteur). Le s auveteur A appuie sur la touche Mark de sa sonde iPROBE et désactive ainsi le DVA émetteur (compatible avec la sonde iPROBE) de la victime A localisée. (2) Le détecteur numérique PIEPS DSP du sauveteur A affiche alors automatiquement la victime suivante sur l’écran. Indication à l’écran: “1 seule victime ensevelie“ (3) Pendant que le sauveteur A suit avec la sonde du sauveteur B la direction indiquée par les flèches de son détecteur PIEPS DSP jusqu’à la victime suivante D, le sauveteur B commence à creuser pour dégager la victime C. Le sauveteur A s’active alors vers la victime D.

(1) Dopo essere riusciti a localizzare con precisione grazie al dispositivo PIEPS DSP a 3 antenne (solo un massimo), il soccorritore A incomincia a sondare seguendo uno schema reticolare con la sonda elettronica PIEPS iPROBE. Il forte e continuo segnale acustico della sonda iPROBE e il segnale luminoso indicano al soccorritore A il ritrovamento (da 0 a 50 cm sul trasmettitore ARDIV). Il soccorritore A preme il pulsante Mark della sua sonda iPROBE e disattiva quindi il trasmettitore ARDIV (con il Supporto iPROBE) del sepolto C che è stato localizzato. (2) Il PIEPS DSP del soccorritore A indica ora automaticamente sul display il prossimo sepolto. Sul display viene indicato: “solo 1 sepolto” (3) Mentre il soccorritore A con la sonda del soccorritore B ora segue le frecce direzionali del suo PIEPS DSP verso il prossimo sepolto D, il soccorritore B incomincia a disseppellire con la pala il sepolto C.
