Albert Dolmans (Breda 1928) emigrated to the U.S. with his parents during the Second World War, just one month before the German occupation of Holland. A scholarship student at the California College of the Arts, he developed into a passionate full time landscape painter. Dolmans returned to live in Holland in 1982 and has since continued painting on both sides of the Atlantic.
Albert Dolmans (Breda 1928) emigreerde met zijn ouders een maand voor de bezetting van Nederland in de Tweede Wereldoorlog naar de VS. Daar volgde hij een kunstopleiding aan de Californian College of Arts and Craft, waarna hij zich ontwikkelde tot een rasechte landschap schilder. Dolmans woont sinds 1982 weer In Nederland, maar schildert aan beide kanten van de Atlantische Oceaan ter plekke landschappen.
Jan Ledderhof (Den Haag 1940), a well known architect in The Hague, had originally wanted to become an artist. His architectural studies included intensive drawing tuition. He has always painted in his spare time. Upon his retirement as an architect some ten years ago, Leddenhof became a full-time artist, specializing in landscapes and city scenes.
Jan Ledderhof (Den Haag 1940) is een in Den Haag bekende architect. Maar eigenlijk had hij kunstschilder willen worden. Tijdens zijn studie bouwkunde kreeg hij intensief tekenlessen. In zijn vrije tijd heeft hij altijd geschilderd. Na zijn pensionering als architect, zo’n tien jaar geleden, is Ledderhof full time schilder geworden met als specialiteit landschappen en stadsgezichten.
