The old Murray Complex site in Wilkes-Barre has seen no activity in years, after the Siniawa organization planned to develop it as residential and retail space.
City-based Siniawa 16, LP – was touting a $22 million plan to transform a centuryold warehouse, the site of the former Murray’s Inn on Pennsylvania Avenue, into residential and retail space. Former county commissioners approved the first assistance – a $1 million, low-interest community development loan to partially fund construction.
