◆ BUILDING TRUST The Times Leader strives to correct errors, clarify stories and update them promptly. Sports corrections will appear in this spot. If you have information to help us correct an inaccuracy or cover an issue more thoroughly, call the sports department at 829-7143. A story on Page 5B of Tuesday’s paper incorrectly listed the time of Berwick’s first goal against Meyers in a high school soccer game. The first goal of the game was scored in the 37th minute of the first half.

The $60,000 Fillies & Mares Open returns to the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Two weeks ago we had a huge shocker with 30-1 outsider Billmar Scooter scoring the upset. In tonight’s featured race I’m going with the likely favorite Spirit To Spare to score the victory. The 5-year-old daughter of Artsplace has been razor sharp of late, winning in three of her last five races. Her most recent effort over the mile strip at the Meadowlands was her best yet, pacing a back half in :54 and change to win going away in 1:51.1. The Don Niccum trainee likes the five-eighths strip as well, dusting a solid field at Chester back on May 4 (on an off track) in 1:52.4. She has all the tools and her versatility is enough to garner the top choice in a strong 10th race. BEST BET: HOBOKEN SONNY (6TH) VALUE PLAY: REVINGTON (2ND) Post Time 6:30 p.m. All Races One Mile
