A ll four branches of the Coweta County Public Library System a re ta k i ng pa r t i n the annual Summer Reading Program and all of the fun activities that coincide with the reading contests. Sig n-up for t he va r iou s reading programs is open. This year's themes are: AdultsGroundbreaking Reads; TeensBeneath the Ser vice, a nd Children - Dig into Reading. All contests levels will feature cool and desirable prizes such a s K i nd le readers , a Nabi tablet and a treasure chest of goodies. In addition to the books and reading, the library will once again offer an outstanding schedule of performances and special events. For summer, e a c h l i br a r y w i l l of fer a weekly show at a uniquely scheduled time. missed program.� On Tuesdays, the A. Mitchell Powell Jr. Library will offer a program at 11 a.m. and the Grantville Library will offer one at 2 p.m. On Wednesdays, the Central Library will host a program at 11 a.m. while the Senoia Library will begin its programs at 2 p.m. The slate of performances, events and special prog ra ms w i ll be ava i lable on the library’s website, w w w. cowetapubliclibrary. org. Print copies of the summer schedule can be picked up at all libraries. In addition, the library now has an electronic newsletter that will be keeping subscribers apprised of all library events, including summer reading. Sign-up for this secure and confidential service can be completed on the library website. Bass said, “The e-newsletter is really taking off; it is a great way to stay connected with our customers and to ensure that they are receiving news about everything we offer.� All reading contests and specia l events w i l l r u n through the end of July.
