REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Signing up for professional development is easy with thinklangley.com and PD-Place. Simply follow the steps below to register for your workshops on October 6.

1. Browse

our course catalog to find the courses best suited to you! In this booklet, you’ll find descriptions of the content as well as information about the presenters to help you decide on an A session and a B session.

2. Log-In to your account at thinklangley.pdplace.com using your SD35 credentials. Use your employee number as

your username and your email and AMS password to gain access.

3. Register for the New Horizions: Clerical Mini-Conference by selecting the calendar tab, finding the conference under October 6, and clicking “Register.”

4. Sign Up

for your two workshop selections by following the prompts after your register, or by navigating to the Workshops Tab, scrolling down, and finding the “Conference Sessions” button next to the course listing. Here, you’ll find a list of all the available sessions. Simply check the box to the right of the sessions you would like to attend and press the “Submit” button.

5. Pay using CUPE 1260 Pro-D funds. No reimbursement required! Select the workshops tab and the pay button. For

payment method, simply select “CUPE 1260 Pro-D Fund” and input your employee number in the box.

Top Ten Strengths of MYEDBC

Come and share your knowledge of the KEV accounting system. Share your tips and tricks with your colleagues and brainstorm ideas on possible improvements and changes. Go over group collection, cash drawer, deposits, import teams, and getting staff and parents on board with the system.

Why do we use MYEDBC? How can it help us in our jobs? Introduction to new stuff, reminders of great tools and time to go over questions.

Bring your own questions and potions for a magical time.
