Day 1: Hyannis, Massachusetts (D) Travel up the southern New England coastline today and enjoy time to meet new friends and get to know your Upper Class Tour Director. Once you arrive on the Cape, you’ll board a Duckmobile, a military amphibious vehicle. You’ll ride the streets of downtown Hyannis and learn about the early settlers of Cape Cod, see a light house, some of the best beaches and sites made famous by the Kennedys. This afternoon, you’ll visit the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum, a multimedia exhibit designed to open a window on the days JFK spent on Cape Cod; relaxing with family, playing football and sailing on the ocean to which he was so constantly drawn. The exhibit features photographs spanning the years 1934 to 1963, depicting this special time in JFK’s life. Check into the Doubletree Hotel in Hyannis, your “Home Away From Home” for the next two nights. Your room features modern amenities, including a flat screen TV and complimentary internet access. You can also take a dip in the indoor, heated pool! After relaxing, you’ll enjoy a special Lobster Bake dinner at the Paddock Restaurant in Hyannis, considered a Cape Cod institution. The Paddock is a combination of southern coastal European and New York “private club” with upholstered seating, white linen tablecloths, fresh cut flowers, candlelight and dark wood paneling. Of course there are non-seafood options available for you land lubbers.

Day 2: Nantucket Daffodil Festival (B) After breakfast, we board a hispeed catamaran to Nantucket – thirty miles off the Massachusetts coast. You can’t cross Cape Cod Bay any quicker as the boat makes the journey in only one hour. Arriving to the island, you’ll marvel at one of the most unique, historic and visually stunning places in the world. Cobblestone streets and an array of stately Georgian, Federal, and Greek Revival homes reflect the town’s history as a prosperous whaling port. As April’s gentle sea breezes and warming sunshine coax new growth from Nantucket’s sandy soil, over three million daffodils in every color, shape and size bloom just in time for the island’s annual Daffodil Festival. These daffodils adorn roadsides and gardens with astonishing variety. Come wear your daffy hat, watch the antique car parade and welcome spring on one of the most enchanting islands in the country!

Nantucket’s charm and beauty are irresistible
