I vitoni Sono posti in posizione lontana dalla zona taglio ed assolutamente protetta da schizzi di acqua e fango di segagione. The vertical screws These are located away from the cutting area and are totally protected from water and mud splashes during the cutting process.

Piste di scorrimento verticale dei carrelli del portalame Sono realizzati con una lamina di acciaio temperato e sono intercambiabili, la loro sostituzione, se necessaria, è semplicissima. Vertical guides for the blade carriage These are made of hardened steel sheet and are interchangeable. They are very easy to replace if necessary.
I carrelli del quadro portalame Costruiti su sistema isostatico, con 4 ruote per carrello, per ottenere una ripartizione equilibrata del carico del quadro portalame. Ogni ruota sopporta esattamente 1/4 del carico. Le ruote dei carrelli scorrono su piste di scorrimento in acciaio temperato intercambiabili. The blade carriages These are built on an isostatic system with 4 wheels for the carriage to achieve a balanced division of the load on the blade frame. Hence each wheel bears 1/4 of the load. The wheels run along hard steel interchangeable belts.

Attacco biella La trave è eseguita in struttura reticolare di forma opportuna per alleggerire il collegamento della singola biella centrale; è fatta in massello di acciaio senza saldature, rigida e contemporaneamente leggera, collegata alle due sponde laterali tramite spine e bulloni ad elevata resistenza fissati in sedi lavorate con macchine a controllo numerico per garantire la piÚ assoluta precisione ed evitare saldature in punti critici che possono, col tempo, portare a rotture per fatica. The connecting rod attachment The beam has a reticular structure and is shaped so as to lighten the connection of the single central connecting rod. It is made of solid steel without welding and it is sturdy yet light, connected at the two lateral edges by high-resistance pins and bolts inside slots fabricated by numerically-controlled machines so as to guarantee the highest precision and to avoid weldings at critical points where stress may lead to fractures in time.

Scorrimento del quadro portalame Avviene con un sistema di pattini in bronzo a sostentamento idrodinamico che scorrono su guide in acciaio in bagno d'olio. Un sistema estremamente semplice ed efficace, con bassissima resistenza d'attrito, che non richiede meccanismi dinamici od idraulici complessi e che necessita di pochissima manutenzione. Run of the blade frame The blade frame moves thanks to a system of hydrodynamic sliders that run along oil bath steel guides. This is an extremely simple, efficient system with very low friction resistance that does not require complex dynamic or hydraulic mechanisms and requires very little maintenance.

Realizzata in struttura a sezione a doppio T in un' unica fusione in lega speciale ad alta resistenza e particolarmente studiata per resistere a fenomeni di fatica. Accurate indagini condotte dalla Gaspari Menotti provano inequivocabilmente che la biella unica è la soluzione logica, semplice ed ideale per telai da marmo e da granito. L'utilizzo di due bielle, infatti, presuppone il loro movimento simultaneo, ma le tolleranze di lavorazione e di montaggio, quelle dei cuscinetti e le usure necessariamente non uniformi impediscono, nella realtà , il funzionamento sincronizzato desiderato.
This is manufactured in one double-T section in an high resistance special alloy specifically designed to resist stress. In-depth studies carried out by Gaspari Menotti prove without a doubt that one connecting rod is the most logical, simple solution which is ideal for marble and granite gang saws. The use of two connecting rods involves their simultaneous movement, yet the working and assembly tolerances as well as those of the bearings and normal wear on the machine, which is obviously not the same on all parts, prevent their desired syncronized functioning.
