Scorrimento del quadro portalame Avviene con un sistema di pattini in bronzo a sostentamento idrodinamico che scorrono su guide in acciaio in bagno d'olio. Un sistema estremamente semplice ed efficace, con bassissima resistenza d'attrito, che non richiede meccanismi dinamici od idraulici complessi e che necessita di pochissima manutenzione.

Blade frame motion The blade frame moves on a system of hydrodynamic sliders that run along oil bath steel guides. This is an extremely simple, efficient system with very low friction resistance that does not require complex dynamic or hydraulic mechanisms and requires very little maintenance.

The columns
Sviluppate a partire dalla tradizionale esperienza della Gaspari Menotti nei telai da granito, sono realizzate in acciaio speciale e conferiscono all'intera macchina condizioni di stabilitĂ e rigidezza ineguagliabili con qualsiasi altra soluzione, inoltre non richiedono l'abituale riempimento in calcestruzzo.
Gaspari Menotti has developed these columns from their traditional, well-established experience with granite gang saws. They are manufactured in special steel and ensure conditions of incomparable stability and sturdiness for the entire machine. Moreover, the usual filling with concrete is not required.

Fissaggio del carrello portablocco alla piattaforma di sollevamento Avviene con quattro coppie di robuste cremagliere di acciaio che, incastrandosi saldamente, non consentono alcun movimento dannoso alla segagione. Fixing of the block carriage to the lifting platform This is by means of four pairs of sturdy steel racks which fit closely together and do not allow any movement which may be damaging to the sawing.

Attacco biella Avviene tramite 4 prigionieri in acciaio ad elevata resistenza che garantiscono un perfetto accoppiamento grazie ad una lavorazione di precisione sia dei piastroni che della pinza di attacco eseguita su macchine a controllo numerico. Si evitano così collegamenti saldati, spesso fonte di rotture dovuta a fatica nel tempo.

Connecting rod attachment The connecting rod is attached by means of 4 highresistance steel bolts and nuts which guarantee a perfect fit thanks to precision processing, on numerically-controlled machinery, of the rear element of the blade frame and the “U” attachment. Hence there is no welding, which is often where stress leads to fractures in time.

Protezioni vitoni I vitoni di sollevamento della piattaforma sono protetti da un carter a labirinto in acciaio inox che li protegge dal contatto con l' acqua. Protection of vertical motion screws The platform lifting screws are protected by stainless steel guards which shield them from water. 4
Guide movimento piattaforma Il moto verticale della piattaforma è guidato da un sistema di pattini piani ed a forma di "U" dotati di registri laterali in materiale antifrizione per l'eventuale recupero dei giochi. I pattini scorrono su guide in acciaio inox. Una soluzione semplice e di grande affidabilità.

Platform movement guides The vertical movement of the platform is guided by a system of flat, "U" shaped guides with lateral adjustment in antifriction material to rectify any clearance. The sliding blocks run on stainless steel rails. A simple, highly reliable system.

I supporti volano del telaio DGS sono gli stessi che la Gaspari Menotti utilizza per il telaio da granito JumboMatic 6000, una macchina avente larghezza utile di taglio 6 m! Una garanzia in fatto di robustezza ed affidabilità.
The flywheel supports of the DGS frame are the same that Gaspari Menotti uses for the JumboMatic 6000 granite gang saw, a machine with a cutting width of 6 m! A guarantee in terms of sturdiness and reliability.
L’asse del volano The flywheel axle
Anche l' asse di volano è lo stesso utilizzato nel telaio da granito di larghezza utile 6 m. Ha un diametro di 340 mm! Ancora una volta robustezza ed affidabilità sono confermate. The flywheel axle is also the same as that used in the granite gang saw with a working width of 6 m. It is 340 mm in diameter! Once again sturdiness and reliability are guaranteed.

Una sola biella! La soluzione Gaspari Menotti per tutti i telai Single connecting rod! The Gaspari Menotti solution for all the gangsaws Realizzata in struttura a sezione a doppio T in un'unica fusione in lega speciale ad alta resistenza e particolarmente studiata per resistere a fenomeni di fatica. Accurate indagini condotte dalla Gaspari Menotti provano inequivocabilmente che la biella unica è la soluzione logica, semplice ed ideale per telai da marmo e da granito. L'utilizzo di due bielle, infatti, presuppone il loro movimento simultaneo, ma le tolleranze di lavorazione e di montaggio, quelle dei cuscinetti e le usure necessariamente non uniformi impediscono, nella realtà , il funzionamento sincronizzato desiderato.
This is manufactured in one double-T section in an high resistance special alloy specifically designed to resist stress. In-depth studies carried out by Gaspari Menotti prove without a doubt that one connecting rod is the most logical, simple solution which is ideal for marble and granite gang saws. The use of two connecting rods involves their simultaneous movement, yet the working and assembly tolerances as well as those of the bearings and normal wear on the machine, which is obviously not the same on all parts, prevent their desired syncronized functioning.

DGS 2000/80 cutting layers device Tramite l'applicazione di uno speciale kit vi è la possibilita di tagliare faldoni ( cioè blocchi di altezza ridotta , max 85 cm) con il telaio DGS 2000. Faldoni con le due facce superiore ed inferiore piane e parallele, possono essere tagliati in strisce di spessore min 11 mm producendo filagne e di fatto sostituendo la tagliablocchi da marmo con produzioni enormemente superiori. Il dispositivo sfrutta nella prima fase di taglio un sistema “vacuum” installato sul carrello per il bloccaggio del materiale che, dato il peso ridotto, tenderebbe altrimenti a seguire il movimento delle lame. Nella seconda fase, quando le lame sono penetrate per intero nel faldone, entrano in funzione una coppia di pressatori idraulici dall'alto per mantenere compattate le filagne. Il passaggio da una tipologia di taglio all'altra, lastre / filagne, viene effettuato tramite l'applicazione o la rimozione dei soli due elementi pressatori che, essendo vincolati alla macchina per mezzo di perni a sgancio rapido, rendono questa operazione estremamente semplice e veloce.
Thanks to the application of a special device the DGS 2000 is also able to cut block with reduced height, max. 85 cm. Layers with top and bottom faces sawn and parallels can be transformed in to strips with a minimum thickness of 11mm. with very high production and substituting the-fact the use of block-cutters. The layer is hold and kept in place during the first cutting phase (blades entering) by a vacuum system directly installed inside at the block trolley. During the second phase, when the blades are completely entered in to the layer, a couple of hydraulic pressers, acting on the top surface of the layer, hold the strips in position. The application or the removal of the hydraulic pressers, that are connected to the machine by pins with a quickrelease system allows in a very easy and simple way to pass with the DGS gang saw from strips cutting mode in to slabs cutting mode.
