Vehicles and Parking:

When considering building a fence, you must complete a modification form and submit it to the committee for approval. Fencing might be approved for installation with the following understood.

Chain Link fences are prohibited. A picture or drawing of the fencing type must be included in the modification form that provides dimensions, color, and a site plan. Fencing constructed on any lot must be uniform style and construction, including fencing used for dog runs, which also requires submitting a form.

Fake/Artificial Plants:

Fake plants, silk plants and faux foliage are prohibited outside your home's front entry.

Golf Carts:

Please keep in mind that Georgia law states: 1.

To drive a golf cart alone, a person must have a driver’s license or a valid permit. When a non-licensed driver operates a golf cart and is accompanied by a licensed driver, the licensed driver is responsible, liable party in the event of an accident.

Yard Debris:

Fall is in the air; it is important to rake up leaves and deposit them appropriately. Do not blow any vegetative matter resulting from lawn maintenance, such as leaves, grass clippings, and debris, into the street as it winds up in the storm drain.

No boat, trailer, camper, recreational, or other vehicle type may be parked or stored in open view on residential property for more than twenty-four hours. No vehicle/golf cart may be parked on any yard. As a rule, parking vehicles on the streets within the community is prohibited. Temporary parking (four hours or less) is allowed if the Owner's driveway is full, not a nuisance to neighbors or an impediment to traffic flow. The vehicle must be parked with traffic. Owners are responsible for guest parking and must ensure that guests park safely and do not impede access to other driveways and traffic.

If you are changing the paint color of your house, you need to know that ALL paint colors must be prior approved by the Covenants/Modifications Committee, and your neighbor’s opinion on color must be obtained. Requirements needed as follows: Submit a modification form.

The Reunion Empty Nesters got a head start on the Independence Day weekend, as they enjoyed another delicious catered meal, this time fun cook-out, supplied by the talented local caterer, Christy Steele (call Christy at 404.550.2165).

A crowd of about 50 people enjoyed hotdogs, hamburgers, fried chicken, baked potatoes, pasta salad and fresh melons in Reunion’s Meeting House.

The wonderful dinner was hosted by Sarah and Rod McElwee, and was followed by a great desert of Smores, taking many of us back to our childhood days (but, hey, we never outgrow our love for Smores, right?!)

The prizes for the evening came from four Nesters who had a “lucky number” under their chairs.
