ho doesn’t love the iconic landscapes, diverse cultures, history, and colorful lifestyles of the American Southwest? There’s nothing more all-American than a road trip, and there’s no place more magical and memorable than the Southwest. The Real Desert is a highly positive show, reinforcing responsible tourism and travel, respect for the communities and cultures encountered, and for our national and state parks and public lands. It’s meant to be informative, yet entertaining, inspiring viewers to associate travel with recreation—and with understanding. The Real Desert is inclusive, not exclusive. If you love the Southwest, you’re on our A-list. We’re accessible and welcoming, so we encourage participation and connection—a plus for sponsors. We reach the largest traveling demographic, and the travelers most likely to avail themselves of the opportunities and services our sponsors offer. Our viewers come from the demographic that enjoys fine dining, unique lodging, and shopping, along with their travel adventures. They’re appreciative of iconic historical properties and opportunities to experience the cultural heritage of their travel destinations.
