This is a gig not to be missed.

The Preatures

Plug Hailing from Sydney, Australia, these rather indie looking fellows are the next big thing in music, apparently. With hypnotic drums and beautiful vocals, it’s worth catching these guys.

Casual Sex

Wednesday 26th February

The Harley Who doesn’t need a little Casual Sex in their life? This Scottish band fuse effortlessly influences from Reggae to Pop to Rock. Think 1980’s inspired rock, with a touch of Franz Ferdinand. The guys will be supported by the likes of Bed and Febueder.

The Twang

Birmingham indie rock sing-sations, The Twang, are back this year with their greatly awaited fourth album set to be released next month. N E O N T W A N G, a reference to the band’s original stage name, signifies a return to the band’s roots, which simply lie in making music that they would want to hear. Since the band signed a record deal, back in 2007, they have released three successful albums, graced the cover of NME and played a whole host of festivals across the UK. We speak to Jon Watkin, The Twang’s bassist, about this month’s ‘intimate’ tour and what’s next in 2014 for the brummie boys.

Are you excited for your ‘intimate’ tour? I’m looking forward to it, always do. It should be fun, a month out on the road. I’m just gonna try and maybe pack the drinking in on this one. I say that every tour. Really? Do you drink quite a lot when you’re on tour? Well, it’s just one of the hazards. What can fans expect from the tour? Will it all be new material? It won’t all be new material, obviously. We’ll probably be doing about five or six new songs and just mixing it in with the older tunes. We we’re practising last night and it sounded really good, so hopefully people will really enjoy it.

Since you first signed how do you feel the dynamics of the band have developed? Personnel have changed; people have gone and come and come back. I was one of them. We’ve definitely developed creatively, since the songs on our first album; I think it’s quite a stark difference in sound and subject matter and delivery of the songs. I think the whole thing has gradually progressed. We signed quite a big record deal and we did find that it was quite a big thing, financially, press wise, gigs, crowds, everything. Suddenly we went from doing little jobs, our day jobs, to playing Radio 1 Sessions. I’m not complaining, it was great, but in a way we lost sight of what we were and gradually as things have died down a bit we’ve come back to what we were before. We’re still as close as we were and we’re enjoying it, we do it more for ourselves now, which is what we did before we got the record deal.

Obviously you called one of your albums “Jewellery Quarter”, is your hometown something you try and integrate into your music? Not really trying to bring it in. I mean “Jewellery Quarter” was just something that felt right at the time. I mean, we’d just moved into a studio that was in the Jewellery Quarter. We were writing the album and it seemed we were coming home, sleeping and then going back to the Jewellery Quarter. The pub that we were drinking in at the time is there, or right near it. So it just kind of made sense. And no we’ve not really done that so much on the Birmingham front. Sometimes we bring Birmingham into it, if we’re there or we film a video there, because it’s easy, because that’s where we all are.

Yeah, so you feel like you’ve gone back to your roots? Is that what your album name is a reference to?

What are your plans for the rest of 2014? Will you be playing any festivals this year?

Yeah. It’s kind of a reference to that time. That’s what we were called before we got a deal and we’ve said it every album, you know, “Why don’t we call it neon?”, and with this one it just felt right.

Hopefully. I think it may be getting to that point now where they start booking. I’ve started to see a few stories about people getting confirmed for festivals, so hopefully. It’s always nice to be able to do a few festivals in the summer. Hopefully the record will do well, we’ll go on tour again, do a few festivals and have some fun… Keep doing what we’re doing, you know?

So, when you sit down to write a new album, is that something you do collectively or does one person really take charge of the process? We’ve never been that kind of band with a dictator, who calls the shots and everyone does as their told. Everyone kind of chips in and steps back if they need to and hopefully it comes together that way.

The Twang will be playing the Leadmill, Sheffield, on Friday 28th February and their new album will be released next month. Interview by Charlotte Grainger

What inspires your sound and your lyrics? Is there anyone in the industry who you look up to? Musically, yeah, there’s loads of people, we’ve got a lot of influences. This album there’s more imagery. I mean, personally, my songs on the album I didn’t want any of them to be about myself. I’ve written enough songs about myself and about how I’m feeling, I just felt that with this record I wanted it to be about other things, you know, painting pictures for people. It’s a bit boring… I find it a bit boring writing about myself. When you’ve got an artist and they write about the same, about their pain every record I find it a bit boring after a while. As far as the influences go… all the great bands. We’ve all got slightly different tastes in music. There’s a band called Money at the moment and a band called Diive. And then all the classics; The Smiths, The Cure… The Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix… So there’s quite a range, anyone who’s pretty good really. page #11

Porn Vs Pin-ups Charlotte Grainger

First of all, and before I even start this piece; can we all get it out of our heads that women don’t like porn? Speaking on behalf of my entire gender I can safely proclaim that we do.

far more erotic and sexy about pin-up girls and a subtle insinuation of sex, rather than watching the full blown act play out before your eyes in unforgiving HD. The reason for this is simple; the anticipation of sex is often better than the sex itself. Think about it. Whenever you met your last love monkey the idea of doing them was so much more satisfying and exciting than actually doing it. Once you’ve seen a person fully undressed the mystery dies and with it so does the excitement. Feel free to cast this off as me just never having had good sex, but that would be naive. I’ve had both good and bad sex. I’ve even had ugly sex. But none of it has been as good as imagining having sex and this is where the pin-up girl comes in.

We’re all human after all and we all have the same primal urges to rip each other’s clothes off and hump like rabbits, because subconsciously we all want to survive and pass on our somewhat brilliant genes to an unfortunate little sproglet. This in mind, porn should not be restricted to the hilarious followers of the ‘Lad Bible’, posting comments such as “Only men will understand this one lol…” under screenshots of cleared browser histories. Let me burst your little bubble by letting you in on a secret; women understand that one too, we just don’t go around shouting about because we’re doing more important things like reapplying our makeup and sale shopping.

Our generation, we’ve really been spoilt by the internet, haven’t we? Whatever weird fetish or weird sex act happens to pop into our heads we can type in online and find within seconds. It’s all been done and now it’s all just a little bit, dare I say it, boring. The thing about pin-ups though, is that it hasn’t, nothing has been done and the prospect of doing something with or, maybe, to the girl in question is far more exciting than even the most explicit hardcore videos. The fact that we’re somewhat restricted in what we can see of the girl is in itself very sexy and a massive turn on. Now let’s all just go look at some pictures of pretty girls in stockings and not even bother to ‘opt in’ when our net providers decide to block porn.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, phew, I can begin. There was a time not so long ago when the filth we get off to would have been considered completely alien, when just seeing a woman’s ankle or stocking clad thigh would be enough to send men and women alike into an absolute frenzy. Yes, it was a simpler time, the era of the pin-up girl. Now I enjoy porn as much as anyone else it’s a good procrastination tool, a good masturbation tool and anything that allows me to stare at strangers’ bodies without being smacked in the face for doing so is a winner in my book. However, and maybe this is a sheer case of the grass being greener, I honestly believe that there is something

okay? Deal.

Can tha’ speak Yorkshire? If we can universally agree on one thing it’s that language is difficult to master. Worse still, whilst you were busy doing your best to learn English, you we’re, unbeknownst to you, being sabotaged by the broad dialect speaking fools around you. Your saboteurs ranged vastly from your parents to your piano teacher to Vicky who smoked fags behind the science buildings at school. All of these people helped to slowly dilute your pure English lexicon until it was so deeply bastardised that even the most inbred of idiots failed to understand your nonsensical jargon. With that in mind do you think you can speak Yorskshire? You can now.

Abstract Expressionism Jack Greenwell “It is far better to capture the glorious spirit of the sea than to paint all of its tiny ripples.” – Jay Meuser The 1950’s was a really poignant time for Art and Design across the world, particularly in America. The rise of a movement titled ‘Abstract Expressionism’ (a term first used to describe art in the US in the late 1940’s) was the first specifically American art movement that achieved international acclaim, and at it’s time, put New York City at the heart of the art world in the west. Although it’s origin and reasons for mainstream success in 1950’s America is debated, the styles are general considered to have derived from the spontaneous and subconscious creation of its predecessor, Surrealism. There were many artists that gained worldwide recognition and admiration from this movement, particularly the likes of Paul Klee, Mark Rothko and probably the man at the forefront of Abstract Expressionism, Jackson Pollock. His work over this decade or so (whose you’ll probably be most familiar with) has been a massive influence for contemporary artists right up until the present day. He devised a completely radical and revolutionary process for the creation of abstract art, which has been called ‘drip-painting’ and ‘actionpainting’ among other things. He used un-stretched, usually rectangular canvas over a large floor space and poured, flicked, threw and stained paint from all four sides. In doing this, Pollock had highlighted the importance of the production of the artwork, as much the art itself. In doing this, he was redefining what it was to create art and has inspired generations of people both directly and indirectly; including myself as I have adopted the creative spontaneity of Abstract Expressionism in some my own most recent design work. page #23

D/R/U/G/S

Interview with Producer and DJ, Callum Wright Ina Fischer The name of British producer D/R/U/G/S conjures up the image of sweaty people bouncing around to electronic music in a dark nightclub. When I meet the face behind the name in Shoreditch, London, our surroundings are a lot calmer than that. It’s a mild Friday afternoon and CallumWright has just stepped out of Rough Trade record shop on the bustling Brick Lane. We head inside The Big Chill, a pub next door. The 24-year-old is no stranger to the capital. Born in Manchester, his family moved to South London and back during his childhood. He leans back in his chair, coffee in hand, and recalls his last few months since relocating back to London. “It’s funny because I hated it here when I was growing up, I hardly left my area near the South Bank,” he admits. Now, the city is a source of inspiration to him, both personally and professionally. “I’ve done more in the past two months than in the six years I was living in Manchester,” Callum says. One of his favourite things to do is going to art galleries, especially the Tate British and Tate Modern. But not only Callum’s personal life has seen change since moving to London. D/R/U/G/S has changed course since he started working with vocalist Rebecca Rivers, who he discovered on Soundcloud. “Especially now that we’ve done some tracks with vocals on them, that’s what everybody wants. So I think I’m stuck with that for now,” Callum grins. Not that he’s complaining. His newest single “You Are Everything” featuring Rebecca Rivers has received a lot of airtime on various radio stations, including BBC Radio 1. Thanks to the positive feedback, another track is set for release in early April. To Callum, it’s all about finding the fine line between what sounds good to him personally and what will sell records. “My own stuff is a lot more niche; it speaks to a very specific audience. If I did 100% what I want to do, probably only six people would like it,” he jokes and takes another sip of his coffee.

page #26

When Callum started producing, dance music wasn’t as popular as it is nowadays. So what’s his take on the new wave of house music invading mainstream clubs and radio stations? “It’s strange how everything is being remixed to sound like dance music now, all pop songs have dubstep breaks. It’s kind of sad – I can’t even name a new British band that has become famous in the last couple of >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

D/R/U/G/S

Callum started producing almost three years ago. Before that, he played guitar and sang in punk rock bands. “I went from listening to punk to post-rock, and it was really a natural jump from there,” he explains his transition to electronic music. “That, and I just got sick of working so closely with other people, especially drummers. You’ve got to be slightly mad to play the drums.”

When Callum started uploading his music to Soundcloud, the music blogs quickly picked up on his unique sound. “The rest just kind of… happened” he admits. “If I had known I’d be doing this as a job I wouldn’t have picked a stupid name like D/R/U/G/S”

Interview with Producer and DJ, Callu

Callum is full of surprises, especially concerning his unconventional approach to the genre he works in. “I didn’t even listen to electronic music before I started making it!” he admits and a hint of surprise flashes across his face. It seems as though the 24-year-old sometimes still can’t believe how things have worked out for him.

Callum was still the guitarist in a band when his side-project D/R/U/G/S suddenly shot to success. “It was a complete accident; I was just doing it for fun. I was working at the Odeon cinema at the time and would play my music in the empty Imax theatres to myself – that was my first ‘audience’.”

years,” he says with a shrug. “When I first got into music, bands like The Strokes were really popular, but they were also not original. They were imitating the 60s. Then there was a huge 80s revival with synth guitars and everything- now there’s nothing left to imitate.”

He takes another sip of his coffee and glances around the room, which is filling up with Londoners and tourists going for an early-evening drink.

The fact that everybody and their mum are DJs these days has frustrated a lot of people in the industry. Celebrities like Paris Hilton have jumped on the bandwagon, signing lucrative residency-contracts despite not being able to use the equipment themselves. But Callum tries to see it in a positive way. “That side of things isn’t even the same world. A lot of people get angry at it, but it’s not worth it. It’s good for dance music in general,”

Callum Wright looks happy. “I’m so lucky. I complain a lot about things but sometimes I need to remind myself that I get paid for doing something I love. Getting the first break in music is the hardest part. There is just so much competition out there. But once you have that first break everything changes. You’ve got to be grateful for things like that,” he says with a smile. _____________________________

2014 is full of exciting opportunities for the Mancunian producer, who will see the release of his debut album later in the year. He looks forward to continuing his collaboration with record labels Hypercolour and Moshi Moshi, who have signed artists like Florence and the Machine, Bloc Party and Maya Jane Coles. Live shows will continue to be an important part of his brand. “I’ve got an upcoming show in Seoul, South Korea, and I’ll also be playing in Argentina in May,” Callum announces, eyes beaming.

“It all goes back to when Björke was playing there a few years ago, and when she was on stage she said some things against the government. Since then, the government vets every artist that is coming into the country. Usually they go through the lyrics, and I didn’t have any lyrics- that really threw them off. I tried to explain it, but they just didn’t believe me. I’ve got two years left now,” Reflecting back on the past three years, Callum notes how much easier his job has become every step of the way. “At the beginning you do it all yourself. Now I’ve got people working for me, doing the bookings, the PR and everything. They call me up and I get told what to do like a child,” he laughs. “It’s weird because I’m a massive control freak, I’m used to having total control. Now everything in my life is organised for me.”

page #27

D/R/U/G/S

Every musician has one or two crazy stories up their sleeve. Callum’s is about how he was banned from China. D/R/U/G/S was scheduled to play two festivals in Shangai and Beijing, but his visa application was rejected- resulting in a 5-year ban from entering the country.

Interview with Producer and DJ, Callum Wright

The 24-year old’s favourite overseas experience so far was SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. “I think we played eight shows in two days. It was insane!” he recalls. One thing that stuck in Callum’s memory was how well-organized the festival was: “If they tried to run that out here it would be the biggest shambles.”

Sheffield Street fashion

Josh O’Hara

With the thousands of students milling about here in Sheffield its hard not to notice some of the great style amongst them. However, the student population here in the UK don’t have the best reputation. They are perceived by many as being somewhat scruffy, un-groomed and care free in terms of their personal style. Yet, on a cold winter morning I took to the streets of the city to celebrate the Fashionistas of Sheffield’s student population. It was great to see which of this seasons looks had fallen off the runway and into our streets. Note that not every student is found wearing a hoody, bearing the name of their educational institution, ill fitting jeans, along with a pair of trainers telling us how packed the dance floor was last night. Li. University of Warrick. On her visit to Sheffield, Li also manages to create a seamless transition between high fashion and street wear with her fabulous indigo overcoat and a pair of Nike ‘Dunk sky Hi’ wedged sneakers. The shirt and knitwear combination complete the angular high fashion aesthetic.

Imogen. University of Sheffield. Here Imogen’s scarf is not so subtle, yet it makes a great focal point for the relaxed nature of the outfit. Imogen’s leather look handbag and her Overcoat offer a neat contrast of textures, giving the whole outfit substance. The laid back look is completed with a pair of the sporty Superga 2750 Felix. The boundary between street wear and high fashion is fast becoming blurred. Even Hermes put out a crocodile leather baseball jacket in their Aw14 collection that hit the Paris runway in January. Felix continues this seamless transition with his leather sleeved baseball jacket worn with the street wear champions, the Nike air Jordan 4’s and accessorized with a simple black Fred Perry laptop case. page #30

With his perfectly fitting pea coat by Collect Point Honk Kong and open button oxford shirt under a simple knitted jumper, Isaac has achieved a sublime sport casual look. The attention to detail with the turn up on his jeans, which allow them to sit perfectly on the Nike ‘Flyknit chukka’ sneaker, validate the whole ensemble.

Eric. University of Sheffield. Eric’s military inspired look with a moss green field jacket that sits perfectly over his lounge suit jacket, manages to pay homage to the art of fine English tailoring with a pair of grey flannel trousers, as well as showing an appreciation for Italian sartorial flare. His bracelets draw attention to his neatly aligned cuff and the nuances are typical of the Italian sartorial gentry, such as the way Eric has puffed his tie out against his sweater. The texture of the woolen tie set against the blue oxford shirt also gives the whole outfit depth.

Here Roma has teamed her suede biker jacket with a pair of black desert boots and a beautifully subtle patterned scarf to achieve an effortlessly stylish and beautifully casual look. The Student Magazine talks to Gemma Cleaver, Creator of You Sew Should jewellery.

page #34

Why did you decide to start making your own jewellery? It happened gradually. I have always enjoyed doing cross-stitch since I stitched my first ever kit of a Teddy Bear when I was a girl. A few years ago I decided to try my hand at designing a few patterns, so I made a bookmark for my mum and sister, and a couple of key rings too. Then I saw some cross stitch jewellery online one day, thought I can do that, and after working out the materials I would need, designing some simple patterns and a bit of trial and error, I was soon making earrings. From there it was easy to progress to rings and pendants as well, and experiment with sequins and beads in some designs. What inspire the style of it? I get inspiration from many different places. Some of my designs e.g. the love heart, are based on timeless symbols. Others are taken from nature (I love my ladybird design). Some are from current fashions, like the nautical anchors, and others are based on vintage items, like my teacup earrings. It’s very easy to find inspiration by absorbing your surroundings, the hard part is creating a pattern that is small enough to fit the size restrictions of cross stitch, and still looks good! What is your personal favourite piece that you’ve made? If I had to pick a favourite, it has to be these retro smillie earrings. I love how the seed bead detail brings out their eyes. Do you find doing cross-stitch therapeutic? I find making jewellery very therapeutic. It’s easy to do in front of a cheesy TV program. It can be repetitive and it’s certainly a bit fiddly, but once you get the hang of it it’s actually pretty straightforward. I definitely recommend giving it a go. Cross-stitch and embroidery are making a comeback, and there is vintage pieces available, as well as several designers like myself, who make and sell their own. How long does it take you to complete a piece? Each piece varies in time to make, depending on how complex the pattern is. My simplest designs like the hearts or anchors, which are all one colour are the quickest. My cupcake design is probably the most time consuming, as it uses more colours and has a bead for the cherry. It probably takes about 30mins on average to make a pair of earrings, plus time for the glue to dry! When do you find time to sew? When I know I have a quiet evening at home I’ll often get out all my various threads, fabric and beads and stitch away the evening. It’s very relaxing, and keeps my hands busy and away from the chocolates, which is especially good after Christmas! Who is your style icon? I don’t really have a style icon, I think it’s more important for people to wear what suits their individual shape and personality. Having said that, I love the sexy glamour of corset dresses, and the 1950s style dresses by Vivian of Holloway are fabulous, I want most of them to be in my wardrobe! Where can we find out more about you and your jewellery? I have a blog at http://yousewshould.blogspot.com, which is a general crafty blog, featuring my own designs, including some free cross stitch patterns and tutorials, and I feature work by other crafters. It has been a bit neglected over Christmas, but I have recently showcased some of my jewellery and accessories that are in a 50% off sale! page #35

Cocoa Wonderland Charlotte Grainger

“We were like the tail end generation of assuming when you come out of university you’re going to get a job. Then everything kind of happened with the recession and I feel like we were really lucky to get in when we did, because we then watched our friends really struggle to find employment”, says Anne, when I ask her if she ever imagined pre-university that she’d be doing something like this. “We feel more suited to this job and we’ve made sure that we’ve added the things we really love and enjoy into our business.” One of the things the girls have brought to the business is a monthly book club, which is pretty self-explanatory; customers come and discuss a book, whilst consuming copious amounts of coffee. There is also a knitting club and the option to have a ‘chocolate lock-in’, i.e. you and your friends taking over Cocoa and having your own mini chocolate party. Most recently, though, Kate and Anne have begun to make their own Cocoa Wonderland chocolate, which they are selling to other independent businesses in Sheffield. This is something they’d wanted to do for a while, but had somehow convinced themselves they couldn’t, until last year they finally took the plunge. Before I leave there is just time for me to taste some Marmite flavoured chocolate, which is surprisingly satisfying and compliment Kate and Anne on having crafted themselves such an interesting life here; proof that there are many routes to take post-university and that your career really is what you make of it.

I’m sitting in an armchair drinking Earl Grey and eating a Turkish delight chocolate creation. Here, this is like intruding on someone’s personal fantasy, a child’s imagination run wild with no barriers. Just a minute or so ago I was on the busy Ecclesall Road, dodging between distracted students, yet now I have a moment of calm. I’ve escaped into Cocoa Wonderland. “We’ve just been baking some cocoa and cherry flapjack.” says Kate, 29, co-owner of Cocoa. Her and her business partner, Anne, also 29, are preparing for a hen night they have booked in and the whole café smells of melted chocolate. The pair originally came to Sheffield for university, Kate studying Psychology and Anne studying English, and ended up sharing a flat. In June 2004 Anne got a job at Cocoa, which was then run by the Burton family, and soon after Kate followed. The girls had lots of ideas about what they would do with Cocoa from the very beginning. In 2006, when the Burtons decided to sell Cocoa, there was only one logical course of action; Kate and Anne bought their once workplace and, in doing so, made themselves something of a dream career, sculpting every aspect of the shop to suit their own unique taste. “We feel like with this place we’ve created somewhere we want to come.” Kate tells me. She’s been here since 7am baking, but is upbeat and chatty nevertheless. When the girls first took over, they admit, they were working more than full time hours on getting Cocoa off the ground. It’s only recently, in fact, that they have been able to commit to usual hours, something that was made possible by taking on their first full time employee, Megan, a cheerful girl who is bustling about us whilst we speak.

1 Prime your eyelid. Priming helps correct any discolouration, makes colours appear more intense and, most importantly, makes it stay put longer! I’m using Concrete Minerals ‘Electric Eye Primer’ - apply over the entire lid & blend upwards to your browbone.

2

Apply a neutral base. Apply a neutral eyeshadow over the entire lid & blend out well. For daytime, use a matte or very subtle shimmer. For evening you could use a slightly darker taupe shadow to add intensity, or a golden shimmer for glamour. I’ve used Face Front Artistic Pigment in ‘Skinny Dipper’.

The right eyeliner for the job. You can use any black eyeliner you wish, but for best results I recommend using a gel liner & brush, or a liquid liner, as both of these will provide crisp, sharp lines.I’m using Le Keux Cosmetics ‘Black Cadillac’ eyeliner & dual ended brush. Choose a fine brush to apply your liner, it makes it much easier! Apply a fine line along your lashes, staying as close to the lashline as possible - don’t worry if it’s not too neat at this stage.

3

REPEAT steps 3 & 4 on your other eye - this way you’ll be able to get the length & angle of your wings more symmetrical.

4

The wing. Using your free hand to gently pull your eyelid taut, use short feathery strokes to extend the line you drew along your lashes outwards and upwards towards your temples. You can make this line as short or long as you wish.

facebook.com/paleNinteresting page #38

5

Define your eyes. Curl your lashes & apply your favourite black mascara. Use a skin tone eye pencil on your waterline to brighten up your eyes - using a skin tone colour instead of white looks more natural & makes the whites of your eyes appear whiter. I’m using NYX Wonder Pencil in ‘Light’.

day to night

To quickly turn a daytime look into a sultry evening one, or if you prefer a more dramatic look, use a fluffy eyeshadow brush to apply a deep brown shadow to the outer corner of your eye & along your socket line. I’m using Concrete Minerals mineral eyeshadow in ‘ Troublemaker’. Blend out well & touch up your liner if you need to.

daytime lips

If red is too dramatic, or too high maintenance, for you to wear during the day, apply a classic peachy-nude to your lips. Le Keux Cosmetics Lip Paint in ‘Peachy Keen’ is the perfect retro colour for daytime wear. Apply using a brush, blot & apply again for long-lasting colour.

Use a deep red pencil applied in short feathery strokes to carefully outline your lips - you can also fill in your lips with pencil for an extra long-lasting base for your lipstick.

classic red lips

The key to achieving that classic perfect red pout is in the preparation. Apply a lip balm before you do your foundation & by the time you get round to doing your lips, it will have had time to really sink in!

Eliza and the Bear

page #42

Once there was a little girl named Eliza and a big scary bear named Bear, together they became Eliza and the Bear and made sweet, sweet music. Not really. Really they were a group of musicians from London who did, in fact, get together to make sweet, sweet music. We spoke to James Kellegher, from the band to find out more. You've been compared to the Flaming Lips. Do you think that's a fair comparison? Before that comparison came about, none of us had actually ever heard the Flaming Lips. But I guess its fair, they are a cheerful bunch and so are we! Which of you writes the music? What inspires the lyrics? We all have input on the writing, most of the lyrics come from me. Inspiration can come from many different places, i carry a little book with me and jot down anything that comes to mind! Who is Eliza? Is there even an Eliza? No one is called Eliza in this band I’m afraid! It actually comes from a collection of poems by Eleanor Rees. We discovered they we similar in content to our earlier songs and asked if we could use the name. What are your musical influences? We all listen to a broad spectrum of music, personally right now+ I’m really into bands like Bombay Bicycle Club and Crystal Fighters. What is coming up for you guys in 2014? We’ve spent the first part of the year writing new music and now we are heading out on tour for a month or so. Hopefully we hit a lot of festivals in the summer and look at getting some kind of body of work released! What can we expect from The Satellite Tour? Three great bands playing some of the smaller towns and venues across the country. I’m excited, we haven’t had the chance to play in these places before! The Satellite Tour at www.satellite-tour.com

Robocop Release date: 12th February After a 21 year break from Hollywood ‘Robocop’ is back, dressed in sleeker attire, driving a motorcyle and armed with a massive $120 million dollar budget. Remaking Peter Verhoeven’s 1987 cult classic, director Jose Padilha will have to accomodate for not only the hardcore Robocop fans but also the commercial market given the scale of its production budget; downgrading Robocop’s original certification from 18 to a 12A, a brave decision by the studio. Most of us remember Robocop as a stiff superhuman cyborg law enforcer - now it seems we will be greeted with an agile, contemporary crime-fighting cop. The cast gives us reason to be intrigued, Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, and Michael Keaton are given supporting roles; actors whose careers have included various law enforcement roles (most notably Gary Oldman in The Dark Knight trilogy). This reboot bases itself on the original screenplay written by Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner but adds in its own contemporary twist. Following the tragic account of a police officer named Alex Murphy who is critically injured by a car bomb, we see him given a lifeline by Omnicorp (a robot technology conglomerate) as they test a part human, part robot combination for stopping crime. Can this 2014 blockbuster match PaulVerhoeven’s 1987 anarchistic, marxist and dystopian original? I suppose you’re going to have to watch it to find out.

The Monuments Men Release date: 7th February Sporting a cast of A-List stars (George Clooney, Matt Damon, John Goodman, Bill Murray, and academy award winner Jean Dujardin), The Monuments Men follows an allied platoon of seven museum curators, directors, and art historians as they look to rescue artworks from the Nazi’s who unrightfully appropriated such works during World War II. Based on a book by Robert Edsel, George Clooney takes the helm for only the sixth time in his professional career. After the success of ‘Ides Of March’ at the box office it’s no wonder Clooney has been let loose on such a project. With backing from both Columbia Pictures and 20th Century Fox the film certainly has the potential to be a critical and box office success, billed as a comedy-drama I’m intrigued to see how Clooney can pull off such a combination throughout this historic tale.

Bad Words Release date: 14th March The grown child of a national spelling bee tournament decides to enter the bee as an adult by way of revenge. This comedy is a treat and a half with brief nudity, sexual content and crude language. Along the way the central character meets and befriends a young shy Indian contestant, who he entices into the wilder side of life and a female reporter who follows their journeys through the world of some very bad words.

Why do we all still love everything “vintage”? We’re upcycling, victory rolling, thrifting, vinyl loving, and tea party hosting like never before and it doesn’t seem to be fading. Sheffield is certainly still riding the retro wave, with independent boutiques popping up and vintage fairs frequenting the city throughout the year (look out for Sheffield Does Vintage coming to the beautiful Cutlers Hall on February 22nd!). And as trends are reborn, it’s hard to ignore some more than others. So. The Nineties. Love it or hate it, you can’t hit your local vintage store without it smacking you bang in the face and Sheffield has its fair share. COW on West Street is your obvious go to retro haven. Could be Clueless tartan, Carlton Fresh Prince style knits and acid wash high waist denim all tick the 90s box. My pick from their online store is an oversized denim jacket with unnecessary tassles for a cracking £22. If you’re looking for something a little more special, Syd &Mallory’s are back in

our independent quarter just down from Rare & Racy. The bright yellow façade is hard to miss, as are their tit – tees which appear to be the Syd & Mals’ signature purchase. Crops and baseball styles work with the high waist tartan and denim trends really well, throw on a bumbag and you’re there. Plus, there ain’t nothing like supporting our local designers, and with those tees from only £15, wear with pride. Talking of designers and bumbags, were you clever enough to catch Vulgar or Alice Takes A Trip at the Division Street Pop up Shop (courtesy of Sheffield gems Common People)? A tenuous link perhaps, but google the hell out of them. With Vulgar’s vast array of garish silk shirts and Alice’s slogan beanies you’re spoiled for choice. All you need to do now is throw up your hair in a high pony with a hand made scrunchy (£4) from A New Shop! Clarissa, eat your heart out. Personally, I won’t be ditching my 60s frocks, white tights and beehives for this particular look. But hey. Maybe that’s why vintage is still thriving? There’s something for all of us, you’ve just got to put the time in to find your “thing”. Maybe you’ll find it on Feb 22nd at Cutlers Hall with us? Back in the day Catherine Taylor

The 1950’s, a vibrant era and the people of Britain were happy, a state of euphoria was around, which was no surprise having just won World War Two. The country was gaining stability and this opened up new doors for the world of fashion. Clothing was now being produced en mass; more variety was available and imports started to return, most significantly from Paris. This brought in the popularity of the famous A-line and Y-line silhouettes from multinational fashion house, such as Dior. The 1950’s also brought an acknowledgment to the adolescence and fashion was developed to suit this age and more suited to jive dancing, which became popular for young adults. Full skirts, tight knits, capris and flat shoes created a casual fashion, including the ‘sweater girl’ look, aided by a bullet bra, a cone-shaped padded bra that pushed the bust upwards and outwards, maybe something that would be frowned

upon walking through Meadowhall today. But there is a way you can recall that cute sweater girl style, without the cone chest. Rocket Originals is an online vintage boutique based in Sheffield, collecting and selling clothing from the 1940’s and 1950’s all designed from original patterns and all produced in England. Check out their range of super cute vintage sweaters. Teamed up with a full, A-line skirt (and maybe just your normal bra) you can create a fun, 1950’s outfit. And to give it that authentic edge add the 50’s staple red lipstick and a chiffon scarf. Wear it tied round your neck, in your hair or through your pony tail and don’t be afraid of bold colours. Find more original 1950’s sweaters for women and men at: www.rocketoriginals.co.uk and look out for their own range of vintage shoes, made from authentic patterns.

You Me At Six – Cavalier Youth Pop punk can be tiring and I will be the first to admit that I was oh-so-sure it’d had its day way back in the early 2000’s. However, English band You Me At Six are keeping it very much alive and keeping the people who frequent Corp on a Friday night happy along the way. Their latest offering in terms of music comes in the form of their new EP Cavalier Youth, which incorporates pop punk with some darker and altogether more ‘real’ tracks. ‘Forgive and Forget’ fulfils the pop punk proportion of the album perfectly, the catchy and incessant tune will be in your head for literally weeks after hearing it and no matter how much you try you will not be able to shake it. My personal favourite of this album, though, is ‘Hope for the Best’, which is by far the liveliest track on the album, with interesting riffs and constant snares.

Foster the People - Supermodel Written by frontman Mark Foster in Morocco and recorded in various locations around the world Foster the People’s new and eagerly awaited album is a delight, giving fans exactly what they’ve been waiting for. After the band’s record breaking debut album, Torches, back in 2011 the band have seen great success touring and gigging till their little hearts are content. The band are even confirmed to play at the massive Coachella this year, where they will no doubt be showcasing tracks from Supermodel. “We didn’t have any rules. We just created as much as we could in seven days. And in the spirit of wanderlust and discovery we ended up stumbling on the musical identity of what this record was going to feel like.” says Mark about Supermodel. The first single to be released from the album will be “Coming of Age”, which is set to be released on 16th March. page #52

St. Vincent I first heard of St Vincent when she and The National beautifully covered ‘Sleep All Summer’. With this very basic introduction to the singer, I quickly stored her in the Fiona Apple and Regina Spector folder of my mind; another girl with a stunning melodic voice, no more. But I was wrong. Her new self titled album steps away from this simplistic song writing and moves towards a more up-tempo and, dare I say it, techno sound. This is a bold move for the American singer-songwriter and one, which will surely pay off. Favourite tracks include “Regret” and “Psychopath”.

From the same brand of indie rock as The Gas Light Anthem, comes a Brooklyn band with some genuinely sincere tracks that you simply have to love. The self-titled second album is a very standard indie record with some hidden gems. The most direct way of putting it would be to say that if you are already a fan of the genre then you can easily slip this album into your list of ‘favourites’, though there is nothing particularly innovative about the music itself. The last track of the album ‘Hold on to Anything’ takes a turn for the country and has a very different feel to the rest of the album, which is a good listen but nothing particularly notable. page #53

What are you “weighting” for? Charlotte Grainger

‘Women weren’t overweight back then, rationing was still going on to some extent, so people made what they had stretch’, so my grandma tells me of life in the early 1950’s. Since then, though, our attitudes and waistlines have changed shape dramatically. The modern day relationship to food is a bizarre phenomenon. No longer do we fear that we may not have enough to fill our stomachs, rather we look upon food as something of a hobby, a pastime of sorts. Enjoying good food is one thing, but eating out of pure boredom is a dangerous habit to get into and due to the wide availability of fast food, it’s often the cheaper and less healthy option we tend to go for. Shows such as Man Vs Food, which glamouris gluttony and over the top American style fast food, have also played their part in the rather dramatic transformation that Britain has seen over the last fifty years. American fast food chains, chip shops and kebab places are certainly plentiful in the student-dominated city of Sheffield, meaning that our deep-fried dreams can be fulfilled any time we feel the need. The unfortunate truth of the matter is that on a student budget it is simply cheaper and often more satisfying to eat junk food than it is to eat out healthily. Unsurprisingly, there are many studies purporting that fast food is addictive, with one recently stating that fast food is as addictive as heroine. If that is to be believed then we just a country of junk food junkies in desperate need of some help. It has been suggested that almost half of us will be overweight by 2040, something that would have been unfathomable just half a century ago, not even a lifetime ago. It’s time we all stopped viewing food as an easy way to pass the hours and started treating it with the respect it deserves. It’s what our grandparents would have done.

Printing Sheffield Millennium Gallery 25th Jan – 15th Jun 2014 Jack Greenwell

Our country has had long standing history and tradition with the art of Print. Nowadays, Sheffield has become one of our leading contemporary printmaking cities, with a vibrant and flourishing print scene. The styles and techniques on show are vast and are a true result of the independent production that print gives modern artists. This produces such a rich plethora of beautiful work, that whether or not you’re passionate about the arts scene in Sheffield you cannot help but notice it. ‘Printing Sheffield’ is a six month long exhibition being held at the City Centre’s Millennium Gallery. It’s a real celebration of an art form that in such a modern digital age is absolutely thriving because of its ornate beauty, unique charm and artist’s wit. The exhibition will feature work from artists such as Jo Peel, Phlegm and Kid Acne (all of whom you will probably know through their pieces dotted around the city). Selected pieces and prints are for sale so you too can take part in your city’s tradition and it’s colourful future! The show opened at the start of the year so there is plenty to visit when you have a spare bit of time. I’d highly recommend it though, as the Sheffield print scene may just surprise you.

World Cup Speculation Josh Ohara The piercing sound of the South African vuvuzela’s may still be ringing in your ears, yet it is time for another World Cup. It’s now Brazil’s time to shine off the field as well as on it. As you are probably aware England haven’t been blessed with the luxury of a breeze to the knockout stages. We can look forward to facing up against the utter class of the 2006 winners Italy, the power of Uruguay’s unstoppable strike force and the unpredictability of Costa Rica. After the Group Stage draw was announced, everyone, including Greg Dyke, the chairman of the Football Association, is writing England’s chances of progression to the knockout off completely. In all fairness, I don’t blame anybody for ruling England out in terms of any success. It is going to be painful watching the Italian midfield maestro’s walk rings around our

midfield. Not to mention next fixture where they will face up against the in form Luis Suarez and Edison Cavani. Good luck with that one Gary Cahill! At least with all this writing off England’s chances England fans can’t be disappointed. Nor can the media get on their back if they have already established that England will not get out of the group. So my proposal to Roy Hodgson would be to take advantage of this situation. We have a fine batch of young English players establishing themselves as first team regulars in the premier league. Why not include the likes of Ravel Morrison, James Ward-Prowse, Adam Lallana, Jay Rodriquez, Raheem Sterling and Ross Barkley in the world cup squad together? They all definitely have the talent and potential to become world-class players and what better opportunity to showcase our youth prospects?

On Anger Kitty Turner When I was 14 years old, I screamed at my mother that I hated her. I was so driven by hurt and anger. It was the first and thankfully the last time, because despite the fact I was so hurt, hateful words spoken to someone who had done so much for me just didn’t sit right. In a world of social media, conversations have become public in a new way. Passive-aggressive Facebook statuses initiate hate-wars, and not just among teenagers! The ability to vent frustration through bad-mouthing has become accessible to those who don’t have the guts to say it to people’s faces, and now join those who do. Speaking badly of another person is no novel concept, but with a new outlet to do so, it’s now not only acceptable, but fashionable! Do we simply not care anymore? Are we really that selfish? We have all been hurt by words spoken to us and it seems that we use it as an excuse to hit back. We assume motive and declare injustice without considering someone’s deeper story. Did that person who cut you up on the roundabout do it to purposefully tick you off, or were they responding to a family emergency? Is your partner being quiet because they are secretive and deceitful, or are they trying to process their day to better understand themselves and their emotions? Three years ago, someone who had previously verbally abused me reached out for a friend in a time of loneliness. I knew she suffered with depression, and invited her round for lunch. After some small talk, she asked me why I was talking to her, after the way she treated me. I told her that I was no stranger to depression, and the person it turns you into. It’s hard watching people you love get hurt, especially when it’s because of you and something you can’t help. Through empathy, I could offer her patience and she is now a good friend. My friend’s deeper story was important, but no more important than anyone else’s. I realised I’d had it all wrong - I was not judge and jury of the world, I needed to change. I found myself making excuses for people in my head whenever they did something selfish and/or hurtful. I made a point to never post something bad about another person on Facebook, however angry I was. If someone complained about another person to me, I’d encourage them to consider whether life is hard for that person at the moment. To just stop and give people the benefit of the doubt, to consider they don’t know any better or are having a bad day, really can offer us some inner peace. I know it’s worked for me, and that memory of screaming at my mother that I hated her is now so alien to me, it barely feels like a memory.

Bark Lorrie Moore “Bark” consists of eight finelycrafter tales for the modern world, each of which plays on an aspect of American life. “Star Spangled Banner” sees a nightmare reunion staged perfectly. “Debarking” sees a newly divorced man attempting to keep a grip on reality, whilst America plans to invade Iraq. A teacher sees the ghost of her recently deceased friend in “The Juniper Tree”. This is an intelligent collection of short stories, which uses irony to its best, whilst commenting on the world we live in. This highly anticipated collection is Lorrie Moore’s first publication in fifteen years; so it’s definitely worth a look see.

book My Age of Anxiety

Nothing can properly express the feelings of longing felt by soldiers like their own letters home. This is a collection of letters from both well-known names and unknown somebodies, writing home. The men and women separated by conflict had but one outlet for their despair. Here we get a very private glimpse into their minds and hearts as we, letter by letter, find out what it meant to them and how they coped with wartime. This is romance at its best.

Are you feeling anxious? Not so long ago, no more than forty years, anxiety did not exist as a diagnosis. There was simply no such thing as having an anxiety disorder. The often misunderstood condition is the subject of this book and Scott Strossel writes with an authority which can only be gained from first hand experience. This book looks over the short history of anxiety and how it has come to be something of a cultural phenomenon over the past years. This book confides in its reader and allows a mere glimpse into the world

Tamagotchi Friends uk.tamagotchifriends.com £24.99 Much to the elation of many a 90’s child the Tamagotchi is back again. This time the beloved digital pet is all modernised. The newly made-over toy allows you to choose from five different characters and communicate with other Tamagotchis via text messages or by using the new ’bump’ feature, meaning it’s more interactive but no less annoying than the original Japanese fad. When the toy first hit the UK back in 1997 it quickly became a hot topic with schools across the country banning it due to the distraction it caused during classes. This, of course, only led to the toy becoming ever more popular. Children literally became obsessed with their virtual pets and there were the complaints that children were sad when their pets died, something, which, like in reality, was an inevitable. The new generation of Tamagotchis, however, allows you to ‘pause’ the pet, meaning there is less chance of your pet dying, since, unlike a real pet, you can choose when to give it care and attention. “In the 90’s Tamagotchi paved the way for a digital age in toys so we’re incredibly excited to be giving the hugely popular, classic toy a modern day update. The innovative features, including the new characters and short-range communication ‘bump’ feature, will entertain a whole new generation of Tamagotchi fans. We’re really looking forward to seeing Tamagotchi being welcomed into homes and playgrounds across the country and once again becoming an important member of everyone’s family.” Said Darrel Jones, Marketing Director of Bandai.

A comedy show with a difference comes to Sheffield this month with the Festival of the Spoken Nerd hitting the Steel City hard with jokes a plenty. We got our geek on to speak to the nerds themselves. What can we expect from the show? HELEN A night of exponential laughter, science demos, comedy songs and maybe some things that go BANG! MATT And I’ll be doing things with spread-sheets that are illegal in 17 countries. STEVE Has anyone mentioned the fire tornadoes? HELEN Not yet. STEVE I make a fire tornado. MATT Is that it?

Do you have to be smart to enjoy your style of comedy? HELEN It’s not a show about being smart, it’s a show about being curious. Full Frontal Nerdity is equally suitable for nerds and for non-nerds, although there is a minimum age recommendation of 15+ as it contains some strong language and gratuitous spreadsheets. MATT We do try to cater for the whole spectrum of audiences. Obviously, if you’re studying maths or science, or still working in those fields, then it’s a no-brainer that you’ll love the show. But lots more people love it because they vaguely remember enjoying those subjects at school or university but have done something different with their lives. To misquote Justin Timberlake, we’re “bringing geeky back” but for an adult, comedy-loving audience. Why should kids get to have all the fun? STEVE We’ve reclaimed all the best bits of science - electrocuting pickles, knitting binary scarves, blowing giant smoke rings – and put them into a show where the bar is open all evening, and you don’t have to hand in any homework at the end of the night. Unless you want to…

How do the three of you gel together as an act? MATT Thankfully we all approach science from different angles. Helen is the geek songstress with her scientifically accurate, peer-reviewed songs, Steve is the experimenter, the one who likes to set fire to things that he found lying around in his flat, and I hold the whole thing together by providing some maths. STEVE Look, I don’t just do flame tornadoes… HELEN That’s true. Steve also does backing experiments for one of my songs. And plugs in a cable while I do a physics demo in this show where I smash wine glass with just the power of my voice. page #66

STEVE Wow. Tough crowd.

STEVE I do my own stuff too! I have this set of metal beads in a pot that leap about a foot into the air as they fall out. It looks bizarre, like magic! It’s something I discovered by accident at home, and then went on a mission to find out why it happens and work out the physics behind it. Other people have got involved along the way, I’ve made videos that have had millions of hits on YouTube, and now it’s been published in a journal and people are calling it “The Mould Effect” –it’s taken on a life of its own! MATT They are genuinely amazing. To be honest, we could do the whole show with just the beads and no Steve at all. HELEN So between us, we cover pretty much all the bases – maths, physics, chemistry and magic beads. STEVE What about biology? MATT We’re human and spend the entire show respiring. That’s enough for the biologists, right?

How long have you existed as a threesome? HELEN We met at the Edinburgh Fringe back in 2010, where each of us were doing our own geeky comedy shows. We all saw each other perform, and liked it. STEVE Then Matt suggested joining forces to create the ultimate Venn diagram of maths, science and comedy, which might increase our laughs exponentially… and so “Festival of the Spoken Nerd” was born!

Do you hang out together as friends? MATT Having met doing stand-up, we started off as friends. Well, strictly speaking, drinking buddies at the Edinburgh Fringe. Now we’ve put this new show together it’s great to now be on tour again. We spend a lot of time on our tour bus, the Nerdmobile, so it’s good that we like each others’ company as well as each others’ comedy!

Describe your acts in just three words? STEVE Full Frontal Nerdity. MATT What he said…. HELEN Tickets still available!

Aquarius January 20th – February 18th

Pisces February 19th – March 20th

Someone is lying to you. Someone is telling you that you can succeed. That person is a snake. They are giving you hope where there should be none. They are playing games with your mind, with your heart and with your soul. Screw them, literally or figuratively; it will make you feel better.

Old boy, you’re looking a tad under the weather. Why are you frowning? It can’t be that bad. Sure, your lady has left you and you’re in a dead end job, but at least you don’t have scurvy… Oh wait, you do? Dear me, that is awful.

This month everything is about to change for you again. Don’t get to used to anything in your life right now, because it’s all about to change and not necessarily for the better. Hold on to your hat because the wind is changing and with it so are you.

p

June 21st – July 22nd

Remember that time when you stole the guy I liked right from under my nose and then pretended you didn’t know I was ever interested and made me come out for drinks with you and chat with your new man? Remember that? This month I’m coming for you.

Libra September 23rd – October 22nd

Scorpio October 23rd – November 21st

Everyone around you is a liar. They are lying about who they are, where they come from and what they think of you. Every single person has an agenda and every one of them is out to get you. This is all a game and you, dearest one, are the ball.

This month you will break something that will seem insignificant at the time, but later it will transpire that the very thing you break was as integral to your very being as oxygen. There is no hope for you now. I am so sorry.

Aries March 21st – April 19th

Taurus April 20th – May 20th

Did you have a wonderful Valentines Day? Did you spend it with your sweetheart and do lots of lovely things together? Did you go to a drive-in movie? And did you, dare I say it, hold hands? Damn. You move so fast.

Today is going to be the worst day of your life. Whichever day you happen to read this is literally going to be the worst day you have the pleasure of living on this here planet. I hope you make it through; many wouldn’t be as strong as you old friend.

Leo July 23rd – August 22nd

Virgo August 23rd – September 22nd

By their very nature Leos are selfish beings. They do not care about anyone but themselves and blame this hideous trait on stupidity, when it’s really down to malice. I hate Leos and hope I never have the misfortune of knowing one again. Please don’t call me again. Take the hint.

This month you will have your heart broken, my friend. The person who will do it is known to you already and they’re ready to strike on your weak heart. You can do nothing to stop this, but here’s a heads up.

Sagittarius November 22nd – December 21st

Capricorn December 22nd – January 19th

All of your dreams and deepest dirtiest desires will be realised this month, only for you to find out that they were all wrong. You will end up feeling like your life has crashed down around you and with no one to turn to gin will be your savior.

Someone is watching you. They look over you whilst you sleep and eat. They stare into your blank gaze from a distance, hoping that you will see them, really see them, but you never do. They follow you around each day, just to be near you, They know the smell of your hair and perfume. That person is me.

Asking for it I have a problem. I think I might be in love with my flatmates boyfriend and, worse still, I think the feeling’s mutual. His names Jon and, I swear, I see the way he looks at me… Even when she’s in the room he just can’t take his eyes off me. I’ve been sending out good vibes and I think he’s responded well. I just don’t know what to do about my flatmate; she’s going to be so hurt when she knows the truth!

This is a little awkward to have to admit and it’s taken a while for me to be able to say it aloud, never mind allow it to be published in a magazine. The other night I was in DQ and there was this girl. I kissed her. I kissed a girl and, dare I say it, I liked it. I liked it a lot. Milly 20, UoS

Sarah, 19, SH

Literally no one in this here world cares about your escapades. Dipping your tiny little toe into the water of lesbianism is no cause for concern; in fact it is a joyous and fun pastime. So you may be gay or not or bi… Get over yourself and get some real problems.

Sarah, Sarah, Sarah… Where do we even start with you? You are completely deluded. There is very little chance that Jon is looking at you because of your beauty; we Facebook stalked you and reckon he is probably staring at that massive mole on your forehead. Get it removed… it’s disgusting. P.S. You sound like a complete bunny boiler. Stock up on chocolate because that will be the only company you will have. You’re welcome.

I bought this kitten before Christmas. I named her Lollipop, because I liked to lick her on the head. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. The problem is since I came back in January Lollipop has been asleep! I mean, Google is being useless, should kittens sleep for a matter of months? Is that normal? Lara, 18, SH Friend, your kitten is dead.

寵物蛋 uk.tamagotchifriends.com £24.99 90後的孩子們要樂呵了:因為寵物蛋回歸了!

Scott Stossel

发邮件给我们 gina@nowandthenevents.com 浏览我们的网站:www.britaindoesvintage.co.uk

The Barristers

這隻叫The Barristers的樂隊成員沒有一個是真正的Barrister(律師),也不是barista(咖啡 師)。 Kings Of Leon, The Beatles, Oasis, Guns N Roses, The Smiths, The Strokes。

有一隻樂隊叫Money at the moment, 還有一直叫Diive的樂隊。 The Smiths, The Cure, The Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix等等等 等。
