-(33 :,(:65: >9(7 <7 (1) Junior defensive lineman Jay Harper blocks a Ridgepoint player. The team ended the regular season with a record of 8-2. Playoffs begin Friday, Nov. 16 at Tully against Waltrip. (2) Varsity girls cross country warms up for the Spring Branch Invitational Meet on October 6. Both boys and NPYSZ [LHTZ ÄUPZOLK [OL ZLHZVU HZ KPZ[YPJ[ JOHTWPVUZ (3) Varsity cheerleaders Tay Candelario, Claire Aven, and :HTHU[OH /PJRZ OLSW ÄYL \W [OL JYV^K K\YPUN H -YPKH` UPNO[ MVV[IHSS NHTL (4) Tri Theta members hold up a run-through sign at the start of the second half of the game. The football team runs through a sign at the start of each half. On average, these signs take 15 hours to make. (5) The band performs their annual senior show which is composed by several students in collaboration with the directors. This year’s show featured the popular songs “ Call Me Maybe”, “Never Gonna Give You Up”, and “ Gangnam Style”. (6) Spartacus, senior Camila *HZ[HULKH NP]LZ OPNO Ä]LZ [V M\[\YL :WHY[HUZ (7) Varsity volleyball takes a timeout to hear some advice from their coach, Becky Palermo. Volleyball came in second in district, but lost in the second round of playoffs to Foster High School. (8) Running back Rakeem Boyd splits Ridgepoint’s defense and gets the touchdown. As the only freshman on varsity, Boyd is “excited for playoffs, and [the team] is looking forward to winning state”.
