These are hard times not end times – Jon Stewart at the rally to Restore Sanity&/or Fear.
It was awesome to be part of so much laughing and sane politeness by the thousands at the Rally to Restore Sanity&/or Fear on October 30th on the Washington, DC Mall. My husband and I left later then we had originally planned working on our rally signs for the occasion. When we finally got to the subway at New Carrollton there was an incredibly hugh backup of cars and people waiting to get on the subway. After hearing inner guidance to go downtown instead we drove to S.W. Washington, DC and were immediately guided to a vacant street parking meter just two blocks away from the stage!! Listening further we were able to find a place to view the stage without obstruction amidst the teaming masses of a quarter of a million people just ten minutes before it all started at noon. I had a number of people ask me to pose with my CauseEffect rally sign so they could take a picture of it because they really liked the words. The sign I am holding reads “Love causes sanity, Fear causes insanity, Hate causes profanity, Peace causes longevity, Joy causes levity”. It was amazing as well to witness an overflow crowd jumping for joy in unison on the Mall coordinated by TV cable channel’s Myth Busters. The conference was designed as a dialogue between Dr.’s Andrew Weil, one of the pioneers of integrative medicine in the United States, and Dr. Michael Dixon, Chairman of the National Health Service Alliance, from the United Kingdom. The goal of the event was to bring together Dr. Weil and Dr. Dixon as noted outspoken professionals in the field of integrative medicine to discuss the present state and future of integrative health care in the United States and United Kingdom. The event sponsored, by the Mokichi Okada Foundation of America (MOFA) also included representatives from Japan, the United States and United Kingdom asking questions as part of the dialogue as well as audience participation. Dr. Weil and Dr. Dixon shared about their efforts to bring awareness of integrative health practices into a mainstream medical model. Their dialogue included a question answer format with the audience about their professional work and their own evolution as now prominent physicians in the field of integrative healthcare. They specifically spoke about ways they have incorporated the use of subtle energy healing practices into their work as part of an integrative medical model and healthy lifestyle.

I had an opportunity to talk one-on-one with both Dr. Weil and Dr. Dixon during the breaks and question and answer period. I found their answers to be insightful and encouraging about the role subtle energy healing practices have as part of an integrative approach to health and healing. Dr. Weil specifically encouraged my efforts to teach a global view of subtle energy hands healing practices to both the general public and healthcare professionals. Also in attendance with me were my husband Fred Hawker and friend Susan Ruck along with approximately thirty other invited guests in the audience. This month's special offering is a free one hour individual session for those who respond within 4 hours of receiving this month's newsletter at (410) 956-1117. This includes individual intuitive guidance and subtle energy healing over the phone or in-person. MEDITATION - Creating More Inner Peace and Health
