Peace is stronger then war since it unifies rather then separates. The way to end all wars comes whenever any one of us decides there is a need to end all inner conflicts. – Alice Yeager As a long time career educator I have been talking with numerous school administrators, teachers, parents and students over the last few years about the difference between treating diseases and teaching wellness. This includes comparing how mental and physical health issues are treated as health "concerns" to educating about the healing art and science of "wellness" practices. Treating diseases and unhealthy conditions offer a different paradigm then teaching and encouraging sustained wellness and inner peace. For instance addressing situations of disrespect and intimidation as part of anti-bulllying education can be very different from teaching peacebuilding as a skill that everyone can learn. To quote Mother Teresa "We will never see an end to global conflict until we stop thinking ‘anti-war’ and start thinking ‘pro-peace'." Issue oriented education is reactive. Ideals oriented education is creative. Reactive protocols involve a cause-effect relationship that sees the cause as a "serious concern" that leads to an undesirable effect. All creative solutions see the cause of concerns as containing the creative solution within it. The cause of unpeacefulness contains the solution of peacefulness and not its antithesis as anti-conflict or anti-bullying. Waging war as "anti" against a condition just gives it more credence and fuels it as an against peace and healing as a "dis"-ease condition. The level of a concern is often measured based on reports relative to the frequency of its "outbreak" as multiple incidents. This can lead to a determination based on patterns that develop over time that shows either an increase or decrease in frequency.

Increased awareness of an issue often influences how often something is reported. Diseases conditions that begin at an early age such as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD or ADHD) and Autism as well as social issues such as disrespect and bullying have been reported nationally as increasing in numbers. The question arises as to whether awareness increases the likelihood of a condition being noticed and then reported. Repeated reports about conditions of concern create more credence, acceptance and notoriety. The problem here is that "serious conditions" get more attention in relationship to their perceived threat. Peace is not threatening except to those who see it as undesirable. Until sustained peace becomes more then a fleeting thought in people's lives as desirable then it will continue to be portrayed as an unattainable goal. The more conscious the awareness that sustained peace is possible the less its opposite is feed. This happens more often in a sustained way when wellness and peace emanate from within and then spread in awareness in others. As it does we collectively begin to recognize our natural state without contradiction.

Review current trends in the childrens' book publishing market. This course will cover how to create a multi-page layout for your book idea combining words and images into a full book layout suitable for publishing or just the creative fun of it. Information covered will include evaluating whether to self-publishing or submit your book idea to a publisher plus current print and ebook publishing trends.

Description: This introductory class will help you become aware of your inner creative resources and foster peak experiences as a deep inner knowing awareness of your higher Self emerges. The seeker and seer in you can awaken you to your own inner reSource. As you begin to trust this as a loving awareness of your higher Self within you can achieve greater moment-to-moment self-confidence and develop as a profound connection to the whole of creation. This awareness can allow you to discern and evaluate both inner and outer guidance in ways that foster increased insights, synchronicity, intuitive knowing and creative expression. Through demonstrations, experiential exercises and group discussion this workshop will help you stimulate and develop a heightened awareness of your multi-sensory "clair" i.e clear "sixth" sense abilities. As an on-going inner process you can cultivate greater flow, abundant joy and grace and ease in your life.

Description: Peace Nouvella™ is an international educational peacebuilding project that I have been following inner guidance about since 1994. This experiential presentation is co-creatively designed as an introduction to the Peace Nouvella™ comprehensive course of study. Individual and group participation includes lecture, discussion and experiential exercises. The words Peace Nouvella mean "a new peace scripted in the heart, co-authored with God". This co-authorship involves connecting with the highest aspects of your being for personal growth, healing and creative expression. Further in-depth study includes; meditation, inner peacebuilding, intuition and a subtle energy training and a hands healing practice called the Peace Pulse™. It also includes the creative arts for healing through: journaling, art, music, theater and storytelling. Description: Experience a deeper understanding of the inner healing mechanisms we all have. The body's wisdom knows day and night how to maintain health, circulation (air, fluids, solids etc.), heal wounds and create balance our lives. This inner wisdom represents our unconscious mind in partnership with our conscious mind's command to balance our sleeping and waking activities. Multi-sensory exercises combine visualization, inner listening, bio-rhythm and subtle energy awareness with music, art and journaling. The exercises are designed to stimulate and increase the healing power within. Bring a journal or sketchbook, set of colored pencils and dress comfortably.
