AUGUST!2017! Volume!41!#1! !

Chantel Sawyer (Atkins) (CEO/Owner) I started The Rhythmic Lounge in December 2010. At its start, it was a fairly simple website with the purpose of giving people a place to promote their talents and network. I had no idea that less than two years later it would transform into something much bigger. The website then underwent a complete revamp in July 2011, with a brand new look and the addition of many new features, including the creation of The Rhythmic Lounge Radio. Following suit, the radio started out as merely a 24/7 stream of hand-picked music submitted by talented musicians from the website but is now an integral part of the company. Listeners from all over the world tune in regularly to hear the wide variety of music, as well as the educational, musical and talk-radio shows that we now host. The radio’s success has only made me realize The Rhythmic Lounge could take me in new directions everyday rather than the other way around, which is why a digital magazine seemed like the next step. I’m incredibly proud to present to you hardworking artists and entertainers in this magazine and on the site, so enjoy! Be sure to go to www.therhythm iclounge.com to see the profiles for the great talent displayed in this issue and take a look at our new magazine site at http://w w w .trlm agazine.com Thanks for the support, and happy reading!

Teesha was born and raised in Sri Lanka and started going to an art school when she was 11 years old, where she was involved with many music activities. She started singing as a solo artist in 2003 but sang cover songs of other artists in English. She created the first female performing band, "V3 Girls” in 2005, a group of 3 in which Teesha was the lead singer. Their first interview was on Sirasa Tv in 2005…this is where they sang their 1st original song. She released her 2nd song "Ran Wan Ran mala palada" in 2006 and it became one of the biggest hit songs in Sri Lanka. She has traveled to many countries as a solo artist such as France, Italy, USA, Korea, Dubai, Kuwait, Oman, Amman, Singapore, Austria, and UK performing all over South & North America. Teesha had a one-year contract to do a musical program on Sirasa Tv "Ahanna Asai Gayanna" and a radio program on Sha FM in 2007. She also has drama experience and has done charity work in Sri Lanka. Teesha has released two music albums and many music videos in Sri Lanka, then she moved to the USA in 2009. When she came to the United States she performed in Washington DC, New York, Minnesota, California, Las Vegas, and Texas. In 2016, she went to a studio in Hagerstown, MD to learn more about it and sang for Mr. Hotshot. In less than 2 weeks she was called back in the studio on a Saturday where she was offered a 3-year recording contract from HotShot2StarPower LLC. Record Label. The Rhythmic Lounge: Please introduce yourself and give the readers a brief background for those who aren’t familiar with you! Teesha: My name is Teesha and im from Sri Lanka. I was a professional singer in Sri Lanka who introduced performing art to the music industry creating a girls band named V3 Girls. I'm not coming from a musical family but I ended up being a famous singer because of my hard work and dedication. In 2007 I worked as a TV and Radio host as well , presenting my musical programs to my fans.

TRL: What type of musical and creative influence did growing up in Sri Lanka have? Teesha: My family back ground was totally different because my dad was a doctor. He wanted me to be a doctor not a singer. So he didn't want me to sing. But my mom helped me and she sent me to an art school when I turned 11 years old behind my dads back. That time the Music industry in Sri lanka was totally different because its a Buddhist county and we have to protect our culture in so many ways. Specially women had so many boundaries. I wanted to change it and I came to the music industry as a pop/Hip Hop artist with a different style. First people started talking about me in a good way as well as bad. Other female artists criticized me because I was different than them. But I didn't stop what I was doing and I just worked hard to create my own color. Because of that I became succeed.

TRL: Have you considered expanding your talent into other areas of music or entertainment? If so, which? Teesha: I'm a singer and a song writer as well. I can act because I have participated in a drama and a movie when was in Sri Lanka. Couldn't continue it due to I was busy with my music career. But I would like to expand my talents. I'm a good painter as well . I can dance , I can model, act , sing , write songs. Its all in one.

TRL: What has been your greatest career accomplishment thus far? Teesha: I'm coming from a small country and I became the first Sri Lankan female artist who signed up with an American record label. English is not my mother language. Writing songs in English was a challenge to me until I figured out that I got the talent for that . so far the greatest carrier accomplishment is becoming the first Sri Lankan female artist who signed with an American record label. Long way to go but I know I can achieve my bigger goal as an artist.

TRL: Do you have any upcoming events that you’d like to mention to our readers? Teesha: I've just finished another show in Seattle on 26th of August. but I have an interview in mid September with Lacy Darryl Phillips at KLED Live radio station in New York. http://www.kledlive.com/ The Ultimate Underground Experience.

Having been given the gift of music, Ron Handy thanks God and considers it a privilege and an honor to be able to share his music with others.

Christina Mims!

The Rhythmic Lounge: Was there an "aha" moment that made you say, "I want to be a musician"? Ron Handy: Coming from a musical household where everyone in the house played an instrument and/or sang definitely had an impact on me, but my “aha” moment came when I was in high school. I had a wonderful band director, Farrell Duncombe, who saw some potential in me and allowed me to go as far as I wanted to go under his guidance. I was the saxophone section leader and, as a teenager, was allowed to arrange musical selections and conduct them in rehearsals. The fire within me was raging once I stood in front of the band for the first time to conduct my very first marching band arrangement (laughs). Honestly, it didn’t turn out that great but Mr. Duncombe encouraged me to keep at it. I was so determined to practice that Mr. Duncombe asked the school principal if I could have a key to the band room. I think he was tired of me “bugging” him (laughs). His request was granted and I was able to practice in the band room at any time. I loved it and my desire to be a good musician (along with being a responsible young man) was of “high priority.”

TRL: You play several instruments! How did that come about? RH: Wow! That’s a good question! As I stated earlier, my family had instruments around the house all the time and it sparked my interest to see how each one operated. Several years ago I worked with John Gibbs, a fantastic musician who owns a music store here in Montgomery. Whenever I was in the store I would watch customers come in to purchase different instruments. To my surprise and amazement, John would demonstrate each instrument that was requested. I don’t mean “tinker” with it (smile). He could “really” play every instrument that he put his hands on…WELL (laughs). It was great for me to see a person do that and he was gracious enough to show me some techniques on different instruments. I was getting into multi-track recording at the time and I had to lay all of the tracks myself. Whew! During those days I didn’t have digital recorders to work with, so everything went to tape. It really helped my musicianship because I had to literally “perform” every part in its entirety. I continue to work like that now because I get a better feel for the music by actually “playing” the parts separately.”

TRL: Why was going to college and getting a degree in music important to you? RH: First of all, both of my parents are retired educators and going to college was always stressed to me, along with my siblings, as a way to position ourselves for a better life. I was so into music in high school that my mind was made up about having music as a major. I really wanted to learn everything that I could about music and possibly teach one day. My saxophone instructor in college, Dr. Laurence Hayes, played a major role in convincing me to soak up all of the knowledge that I could from him. Believe me, he had a wealth of knowledge and I was encouraged to go beyond my musical barriers. The music was so difficult that I would spend 4 to 6 hours a day working on various exercises. I once asked, “Why are you giving me such difficult pieces to learn?” I soon found out that he was planning to retire and I am now in his old office at Alabama State University. Talk about irony (smile). Attending college and getting a degree in music has been extremely beneficial to me. I owe a major debt of gratitude to all of my former teachers for the seeds that they’ve sown in me. May God bless them all!

TRL: You've performed numerous times as a solo act. How challenging is that? RH: That’s a great question! The solo act came about as the result of my maturing as a multi-instrumentalist and producer. I owe a lot of my decision to perform solo to Dr. George Shaw, a Long Beach, California based musician/producer/educator whom I met several years ago. He literally took me under his wing and instructed me on the “ins” and “outs” of studio recording. He’s a guru when it comes to studio gear and he’s an awesome trumpet player. Well, I had a performance coming up for a festival and was working so hard that I didn’t have time to pull a band together for rehearsals. I was about to cancel the engagement when Dr. Shaw says, “Do it yourself!” His statement changed everything for me and I began to perform with or without a band. I spent a great deal of time learning several tunes on a variety of instruments to enhance my “live” performances. Performing live with a band is wonderful and I enjoy that aspect tremendously. The challenge of performing “live” on a “track date” concert is that it requires a lot more energy. Since I’m performing the instrumental parts on the tracks, I always think about my energy level and which instrument(s) I will be playing “live” to keep things fresh and interesting. It’s truly a challenge, but I enjoy it!

TRL: Do you remember the first time you heard yourself on the radio? RH: Yes I do remember the first time I heard a selection that I’d recorded in the studio on the radio (laughs). Back in the day, I was always working on stuff (smile). A good friend of mine and music business mentor, Steve Myers, would always ask me… “Are you working on some material?” I would always say “yes” and he would tell me to get it to him as soon as I was done. After several months of asking the same question and getting the same answer from me, I reluctantly gave Steve a tape to check out over the weekend. I didn’t think it was ready, but he took it and returned it to me on the following Monday. He told me he liked it and I said “thanks, but I’ll finish it soon”. To my surprise, I was driving and listening to our campus radio station (WVAS FM 90.7) when I heard one of my selections on the radio. You see, Steve Myers was the station manager at the time and he’d copied the tape and put it on the air. I guess he was tired of “waiting on me” and decided I was ready (Laughs). As I think about it, I’m glad he did that. I would probably still be “getting ready” today (smile)! Thanks, Steve!

TRL: How did the interesting concept of the "Killing Me Softly" video on YouTube come about? RH: The “Killing Me Softly” track and video came about very quickly. The vocalist that I work with, Christina Mims, has always loved that song and wanted to perform it. I laid the instrumental tracks for her to rehearse with. She liked it and went on the computer to make sure she had all of the lyrics correct. We were not really intending to “record” the song at that time. It was really just a “fun” thing. She looked over the lyrics for a few minutes and said…”Hey, I want to lay some vocal tracks over what you’ve done.” She proceeded to lay the lead and the harmony tracks in one take each… top to bottom. Wow! As we were listening back to the performance Darrick Long (an ASU student) walked into my office and said… “I really like that and I have an idea.” Darrick takes his iPhone out of his pocket and says…”let’s make a video”! The footage on the iPhone was shot right then. As we listened to the lyrics of this great Charles Fox – Norman Gimbel composition, Darrick (along with his twin brother Eric) had a concept to convey a unique message through the video. The world recently commemorated the 60th Anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery Voting Rights March and State Senator Quinton Ross played the video for visiting dignitaries during their visit to Montgomery. The video was met with a rousing ovation of approval and we are all very proud to have been a part of it. We’ve received many positive emails and texts from around the world from those who have viewed the video on YouTube! Christina (a gifted vocalist) and Darrick (who also designed my website) are truly talented individuals and I love working with them. Thank you, TRL!

The Power Twins Keith & Kevin Jones Visionary Leaders Million Dollar Earners in Direct Marketing

Kevin Resnover

Kevin has been playing the bass guitar since he was 13 years old, and now as a 35 year-old musician, his resume continues to grow as he adds other genres of music to create a melodic future for himself. With gospel roots, Resnover started playing the bass guitar for his church youth choir as a teenager. In sixth grade, he was already playing cello in the school orchestra and moved on to play the upright bass in the high school jazz ensemble. Upon high school graduation, he continued with his gospel beginnings and played the bass guitar at church in his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. While playing at church, Kevin became one of the well-known bass players in the city's gospel circuit, with opportunities to back artists such as the late Andre Crouch, Bishop Paul Morton, Dorinda Clark, Marvin Sapp, and Detrick Hatton. A fan of Chic Corea, Robert Glasper, Doobie Powell, Kevin enjoys the neo-soul movement and jazz, which are evident in his latest project, Healing Virtues. Releasing his first album in 2014, Kevin put together a stylish Christmas album remixing a few holiday favorites and overlaying his bass playing with music he arranged and produced. With an immediate family blessed with musical talent, Kevin describes his bass playing as "eclectic" and thinks of himself as a musical outsider. These days, the Indy native enjoys playing with his cover band out of Austin, Texas. As a musical epicenter, Austin has afforded him opportunities to play on the famed 6th street, as well as weddings and private events in the capitol city. He has made his home in San Antonio, Texas since leaving Berklee College of Music in 2010 and has enjoyed opening for old school singers and musicians like Keith Sweat, the Ojays, and Full Force in the home of the Alamo. With the strong South Texas and Hispanic heritage in San Antonio, Kevin has been able to mix his bass playlist with country, Cuban jazz, R&B, and looks forward to an opportunity to add a Tejano band to his growing resume. ! ! www.kevinbassmusic.com www.facebook.com/kevin.resnover.1 twitter.com/ResnoverKevin www.instagram.com/kresnover

The Rhythmic Lounge: Please introduce yourself and give the readers a brief background for those who aren’t familiar with you! Kevin Resnover: I'm a bassist, composer, arranger and an upcoming artist who enjoys creating original tunes. I also work with cover bands playing gospel, soul, jazz, Latin and country music.

TRL: What was the inspiration behind your album "Healing Virtues?" KR: I'm someone who has dealt with addiction and depression, which really took a toll on me for along time. I named this project healing virtues because creating the music was one of the only things that kept me going a lot of times. There have been moments when I felt like scraping the entire album but when I would sit back and listen to my songs, I could feel the passion and inspiration that helped me make the music! Others who have heard my songs will sometimes ask,"man what where you going through when you made these songs? "They have so much emotion!"

TRL: There is always a lesson to be learned, especially in the world of entertainment! What do you consider to be your biggest mistake thus far, and what lesson did you learn from it? KR: I think my biggest mistake has been quitting people and groups too soon. I've burned some bridges, neglected musical relationships by not keeping in touch, and the biggest mistake of all has been not always believing in myself! I've learned that it's ok to admit it when you've messed up with someone. You can usually get meaningful relationships back. Lastly, if no one believes in you, you believe because there's always someone out there that's needs the blessing of your God given talent!

TRL: What has been your most embarrassing moment on stage? KR: My most embarrassing moment on stage was when I agreed to play backup bass for an upcoming artist named Lady Jaguar. I was called for the gig at the last minute so I had very little time to learn the music. Long story short, she didn't like my performance, I got cussed out on stage in front of a packed club and then got stiffed on the payment!

TRL: Are there any upcoming events or projects that you’d like to mention? KR: Yes I would like readers to know that if you enjoy nice Jazz, Soul, Neo soul, and Experimental music then come check me out on www.Kevinbassmusic.com You can download my new single, Coincidence, free and also take a listen to my new album, Healing Virtues. I also have a Christmas album available. It’s called "Carols of the Bass."

Luca Brassy For the past 13 years, Luca Brassy, born and raised in Upstate NY, has been building a reputation in the TriState area as one of the hottest emcees in the region. His journey really started in entertainment through professional wrestling at age 13. By the time he turned 16, Luca was running his own professional wrestling training center (24/7 Wrestling Productions LLC) in Upstate NY. Due to things out of his own control, 24/7 closed its doors in the summer of 2003. From there, Brassy had a hard time finding himself again until he discovered his love for writing and music in 2004. In October 2004, he met Jgreen Moneytalkz who has been producing his music ever since. Luca Brassy has performed at numerous cities and states including Schenectady, Albany, Glens Falls, Syracuse, Amsterdam, Rochester, Pittsfield, Pittsburgh, Massachusetts, Buffalo, Newport Rhode Island, Brooklyn, Bronx NY, Manhattan, Staten Island, Ardmore PA, Uniontown Alabama, Birmingham, Atlanta GA, Marshall NC, and Memphis TN among others and has been building a name for himself based on his politically and socially oriented music. Among other great accolades, he has opened for several well-known emcees such as Rakim and Lil Kim. Brassy is now moving in a new direction with his music and putting his old school lyrical mentality to use with his club vibe which has brought him a whole new fan base as well as a different kind of recognition. Brassy’s first mixtape was released in 2006 titled “The Project: Stereotyped”, and his first full-length album “The Narration: The Heart of a Champion” in 2010. A remake of that album was released Through Tate Music Group in 2014 titled simply “The Heart of a Champion.” Luca was recently signed to Sony RED where he released 2 singles “Like That” and “3000” (produced by Younglord). With this, he continues to be active around his own community as well as others. He continues to grind and make new contacts in radio, magazine, film, blogs, etc. He most recently was signed to CNY Mode modeling agency based in Syracuse NY! In music, his newest single “Lose Your Mind” was recorded in Los Angeles with the music video being shot in ATL. Brassy stays on the grind and is always active in his music and all business endeavors. Stay tuned for the latest on Luca Brassy! POW!!! The Rhythmic Lounge: Please introduce yourself and give the readers a brief background for those who aren’t familiar with you! Luca Brassy: Luca Brassy is the name and I love the music and entertainment industry. I started in music with producer J Green in upstate NY in 2004 and have been working with him ever since. As a performer, I've been all over the country from Alabama to California to New York to Texas, plus more and have performed at some of the largest music events in the country. I'm also a model signed with CNY Mode in Syracuse NY and love to be active in all forms of entertainment! TRL: You became an entrepreneur at a very young age, and although not directly related, how did the creation of your professional wrestling training center prepare you for your career in music and entertainment? I started in professional wrestling at age 13 and left the business complete at age 19. There were many reasons as to why I was forced to walk away, but that's a whole other story. What wrestling did for me as a performer through, was get me in front of cameras and people at a very young age, which I see now as practice time I had put in. It also taught me the value of money, the expectation of mutual respect, and that some people will do whatever they can to try to make sure you won't succeed. You need to keep moving no matter what and ignore the naysayers. TRL: What has been your biggest career achievement thus far? My biggest achievements in professional wrestling were having the privilege to wrestle names such as Doink the Clown, Tony Atlas, and Tony Mamaluke among others. In music I was able to open for Rakim and Lil Kim as well as go on two tours! I was also signed to Sony RED and released two singles "3000" and "Like That", available on iTunes ;). TRL: What caused you to make a musical change to more of a “club” sound? How do you feel that decision has played out so far? I decided to get into the club/EDM genre for several reasons. First and foremost, I love it. Second, I was making a completely different kind of music for a long time. I realized after a performance in upstate NY that I wasn't much different from any of the other artists on the show that night. It's a hard reality when you realize there's nothing special about what you're doing. The things that most Indy hip-hop artists do are all part of a dying breed and music is moving in a new direction. The sound I developed for myself is unique and unique is always good. I've gotten a lot farther doing what i do now as opposed to what I was doing before. And it's a lot more fun! No one wants to be depressed so I try to make music anyone can listen to and appreciate. TRL: What do we have to look forward to from you in the near future? I've been doing a lot of collaboration work with several artists. I did a record with Angie Porter out of the UK as well as Raphael Bell (Slim Thick) out of Miami FL. Next is hopefully an up and comer out of Israel! Slim Thick got extensive airplay in Miami upon release and Miss Porter is due to release her album later this year! Look for Brassy to pop up on several other projects coming in 2017. In addition to the music, I was also signed to CNY Mode out of Syracuse NY for modeling. Things are going great thus far in 2017! POW! Eye'z Radiating out of the USA is Eye'z, a dynamic singer, pianist and actress with versatility, flair and finesse. Versed in the genre of Pop she began her musical journey at the tender age of 4. Influenced by artistes like Aaliyah, Pebbles, Fats Waller, Little Richard, Judy Garland and Michael Jackson, Eye'z crafted her own unique style. Motivated to attain success, she refined her skills by studying music, piano and acting at fine art schools across the San Francisco bay area. Eye'z went on to release a number of tracks including, “Go for it” and “Levitating” (remix) which was featured on Bogo Boy Records compilation and “Dedicated” on Vol. XI. Her diverse artistry of staying true to her roots and embracing the modernity of music landed her a record deal with Bentley Records. Unabatedly, Eye'z compelling persona trickles through her music and forms a deep long lasting connection with the audience. ! Because I don't want you to forget about the chords! TRL: What has been your greatest career accomplishment thus far? My biggest accomplishment so far is performing last month and the month before with Sceneca St. James in Oakland CA to help raise money for Cross Roads homeless shelter in east Oakland. We performed twice at the 18th annual shake 'n bake and we raised over 11 hundred dollars then the following month we had a personal care drive I brought bags of toiletries to be donated and so did all of the other performers. It was fun because I got to donate stuff That people could really use outside of soap I brought them some; make up perfumes and even make up brushes and some real lotion like; coco butter, Jergens , Avon ('cause you know I got the hook up) and you know that real creamy dry skin type of lotion. To top it all off we raised an additional thousand dollars. It was an absolute fun night! People from all over California came to support. TRL: Are there any upcoming events or projects that you’d like to mention? Yes, I am going to be performing at the Monterey County fair on Sept 1st I look forward to it and will be performing on the community stage 2004 fairground rd. Life is not what you make it: you can’t make a day appear, or skip a day in exchange for another that you rather not live through! Norah has sung in marriage; sing while grieving when it ended! Sang during her many births, yet sang during a time to say goodbye to her first born son. Norah has learned to smile through her tears and sing cry while singing. “PROFESSIONAL HOME DELIMA EXPERT’ as she calls herself with a glint in her eyes! The Rhythmic Lounge: Please introduce yourself and give the readers a brief background for those who aren't familiar with you! Norah Wilson: Godlight to you! Iam Norah Wilson, AKA Noteticuliously Norah Wilson: to be precise in my own style is what I say is me being “NOTETICULIOUSLY NORAH WILSON” Iam married to Chaplain-Colonel Michael Wilson Ret. Iam the mother of 9 children: I love being a “domestic Engineer” being the highest calling from God to a woman!

TRL: When and how did you first get involved with the church? NW: My whole family went to church as well as held services in our homes. I have very fond tender memories of my Grandparents , parents, brothers and sisters with neighbors and friends holding hands together. It wasn’t long before my private studies presented me with titles of “bible Scholar” and “Sister Spirit” as well as singer. It’s been my excitement along with singing in choirs all my life.

TRL: You call yourself the "Professional Home Dilemma Expert." What does that mean exactly? NW: I believe all I really needed to know in life would come from God and being married with lots of Blessings (children) God gives me wisdom to see the truth and the right in life; marriage gives me the opportunity to share, and children opens the door to my womb to give life more meaning like never before …as a blessing from God! I became more than a woman that had a simple “job,” I didn’t have to be retired in old age; being a wife and mother is “forever” Iam far from being “domestic”….Iam priceless! I became a “pro at being a home maker” A consoler in grief through despair . A teacher of kindness, a giver of love, a peacemaker in dilemmas. Knowing God is never wrong or failing. I became a “P.H.D.E.” What exactly is that? I am a “PROFESSIONAL HOME DILEMMA -SOLVING EXPERT!

This is a very personal memory that I will share with you; I’ve lost my mother, my father and my 23 year old son! I’ve been widowed twice. In each time of grief, there was a song that God allowed me to have in my heart to get me through this sad time! “Were not the only people in the world that goes through ups and down”

TRL: What do we have to look forward to from you in the near future? NW: I am very happy and excited about my plans to release my 5th. Album; "HEAVEN & MOONDUST" in December, another soul comforting experience!

Larry Luve

Born on August 31, 1974 and raised in a small town in Georgia called Millen which is the county of Jenkins that hold a population of about 3,492 people. I’m known to friends and family as Larry “Luve” but my biological name is Larry Wright Jr. I grew up in poverty, which was a struggle for me because I was surrounded by the activities of the street life. There were drugs, prostitution, violence, and alcohol bootlegging etc. around me. Although I live in this type of environment, I refused to become a product of my environment so I found other ways to entertainment myself. I began writing poetry at the age of 8 years old because I didn’t have a lot of material things growing up which allowed me to be creative and just write about the things going on around me. I still can remember winning 1st place in a poetry contest in elementary school in which I wrote about “the Ghetto”. I used poetry and music to escape from the madness that surrounded me at that time. My love for music began to grow as I got older and can still remember my very first tape that was giving to me by my mother. She bought me a Run D.M.C. cassette tape for Christmas and a boom box that I couldn’t even carry. I would walk around with my Kangoo hat on listening to “walk this way” and my favorite “Run’s House” all day long. I also was a major fan of Melle Mel, 2 Live Crew, Slick Rick, KRS One, Kilo, Too Short, Mc. Shy D, Africa Bambaataa, and more. I then began to transform my poetry into rap lyrics and would use instrumentals from artists to create my own songs. As a teenager, I met up with a childhood friend of mine by the name of Earl B.K.A. “Prince Magnetic” who was at the time our hometown D.J. Believe me when I say that this guy owned every 12inch album that was on the market back in the late 80’s such as “The Get Fresh Crew” and “Eric B/rakim” I Ant No Joke”. We would be in his room making and looping beats from some of the best in the rap game. “Prince” had a homemade studio with two turntables, a mixer, an equalizer, one big speaker, and an amp and let’s just say that his mom use to hate to see me come because she knew it was about to be noisy. We formed a rap label called Mini Stiles Records in which we would copyright our songs by mailing them to ourselves so it would have the stamp on it. We would go around having M.C. battles and talent shows for the local talent in our town. After graduating in 1994 from Jenkins County High school in my hometown of Millen Ga, I wanted to learn more about music so I attended the Art Institute of Atlanta, Ga. It was a major step toward pursuing my lifelong dream to become an M.C. I learned hands-on-training at (AIA) and the knowledge/skills I would need to know in the music industry. Being in Atlanta at that time in the mid 90’s was great for me because it was known for being one of the hottest cities around for music. There were companies such as So-So Def, La face, Rowdy, and Def Jam South etc. After completing my studies at (AIA), I moved back home where years later I committed a felony, which landed me in prison for 10 years back in 2002. I was released in 2012 and from then to now I haven’t looked back since. I attended this online college and graduated on July 05, 2015 with an associate’s degree in science, and continuing for a Bachelor degree in business. I feel like “I already know everything about the street life why not learn about something that I don’t know.” I am now currently an intern at Lg Music Publishing Company under the CEO/Founder Ms. Renita Holyfield who has not only been a mentor of mine but also a true friend. All I ever wanted to do was become an M.C. and be recognized for my lyrical gift. I could care less about fame; all I want is for people to remember my name. Respect!

The Rhythmic Lounge: Please introduce yourself and give the readers a brief background for those who aren’t familiar with you! Larry Luve: I go by the name of Larry Luve in which I inherit from my homies growing up. I was born and raised up in a small populated town in Georgia called Millen. I been in the music business for almost 20 years now and attended the Art Institute of Atlanta back in 1995 after I graduated from high school to study Music Entertainment Management. I then became more familiar with the music industry after I started networking with artists in the industry, learning hands-ontraining, and how to become independent in the music world. Although music is my passion, I like to seek knowledge because to me knowledge is power. I just received my associates degree in science and continuing for my BS degree in business to help me better organize my independent record labels, which is called "Mini Stiles Records, Inc."/"Full of Life, Inc.". I just want independent artists to know that behind all the glitz and glamour in this industry "90% of it is business" for real.

TRL: You grew up in a rough area in Georgia, and those tough circumstances encouraged you and brought out your creative side, where others would have given up! How were you able to choose the better path? LL: As a youngster growing up in poverty in the ghetto and being surrounded by the street life on the daily basis, I witnessed so much as a youth. However, I never wanted to be a product of my environment and the older I got the wiser I became and being that I had a passion for poetry writing & music, it really helped me escape the desires of the street life. Although I didn't have a choice of being raised in the ghetto; I still had the mentality of making a name for myself through my art of poetry writing & music. I grew up listening to Run D.M.C., Melly Mel, The Get Fresh Crew, Jam Pony Express D.J's, Kilo, MC.Shy D., Too short, and Uncle Luke etc. Music just took me out of the hood to a place where I was isolated from all of the madness that surrounded me back then. From then on, I knew what was my destiny and pursued to chase my lifelong dream as a songwriter/artist.

TRL: Have you considered expanding your talent into other areas of music or entertainment? If so, which? LL: Of course, because expanding your brand is what marketing is all about in this industry. Its no limits to what you can do to explore your options in this industry in which technology has taken over. However, my main focus is to remain versatile in business and operate not only a hip-hop label but R&B and soul as well. I think expanding globally is awesome as well in this industry because the majority of our listeners is from other countries besides the U.S. so in order to become successful in this business, you can't put limits on your talents. Sourcing is always good for business.

TRL: Your path to where you are now with your life and with music was not an easy one. What advice do you have for those with a passion and talent for music, whom are struggling to make the right decisions and turn things around? LL: To anyone that is serious about their talents or goals in life, I would just encourage them to never give up on themselves and learn more about the business your apart of because knowledge is power and once you know it, then no one can take that away from you or tell you otherwise. It is very important to take your destiny in your own hands and don't let anyone treat you like a puppet on a string. Yes, it is a very hard task to become successful in this industry but what job you know where you don't have to put forth effort, time, and dedication into. Control your own destiny and become the artist you always dream of.

TRL: Do you have any news, projects or upcoming events that you’d like to mention to our readers? LL: I just released my new debut single " Just a Player" out now and working on my EP Album right and don't forget to check out the first single on the EP Album entitled "Microphone Check" which is doing well on YouTube and Twitter. I’ve been working very hard trying to promote these singles so I won't be doing any shows until next year after I receive my BS degree. I will leave the viewers with this, and that is to never give up and reach for the stars because the sky is the limit! Holla. https://plus.google.com/u/0/11467495549611902755//posts

SIR DOLLA BILL Born Thurmas W. Brown in the dirty south of New Orleans, as one of fourteen brothers and Sisters, I was sent from foster home to foster home until I came out west to California at an young age. Coming from the South…home of Jazz and downhome blues, and the hip-hop artist; Master P, I have always had music in my blood. When I met Brent Hoover it was on and I start doing shows and recording and that was in the 90’s. I released a CD on Powerhouse Records that gave me the chance to show my hip-hop/ rap skills. My music is all about having a good time and when you hear my songs you will see that it's all about having a good time and enjoying the fun things in life. My music is not about killing anybody…it's about having fun everyday and making people happy and feel good. That's what makes me feel good to let people know that you don't have to throw your life away to fit in with others. I was influenced by the work of Too Short and Scarface, and my music is different because it carries with it a lot of the Southern flavor from the West Coast and Dirty South style, I was doing gigs at clubs in LA, but my goal is to do more worldwide. I have three songs in the movie “Severe Inn” that was released in 2010 on Legion Films and one of the songs is “24’s on my Chevy,” which was number one on the billboard charts on myrecordlabel.net for four weeks. I signed a record deal with Platinum Records / Bungalo Universal Music and my single “Let’em hang” was released on July 6, 2010. Imagine an act with the lyrical style of Jay-Z, the stage presence of P-Diddy, and who can control the crowd with the energy of Busta Rhymes, and you have just created the one and only SIR$DOLLA. Known to promoters as the guaranteed crowd pleaser, from High Schools to clubs and Arenas, from1996 to present and has opened for acts such as UTFO and others. www.dolla4dolla.com Facebook: dolla4dollaent Facebook: William Brown

VOICE&

I grew up in poverty and would write poems to ease my mind; I always read them back on the public bus while I was commuting to and from school. I would over-hear the beats from people’s headphones and would start timing my poems to their metronomes. Before I knew it my poems had become songs and I would share them online and my songs started to spark curiosity as I was gaining thousands of views on my songs as an unknown artist. I got put on my first tour to start performing in August 2016 at which point I have also started work on my first solo mixtape. The song "SACRIFICE" I have on my profile is a sneak peek at the mixtape. It is currently the only released song from the mixtape project. The song "NO ESCAPE" is one of my trademark tracks because of the emotional feedback from my audience after performing it; it is based on a true story and is raising awareness for Domestic Violence Survivors. As an artist it is my job to help change the world even if its one person at a time one show at a time. If you are seeking immediate assistance regarding Domestic Violence the 24/7 phone hotline is 1-800-799-7233 I am Voice. VICTORIOUS OBLIGATIONS INSIDE THE CHOSEN ENTITY We are #VoiceNation

The Rhythmic Lounge: Please introduce yourself and give the readers a brief background for those who aren’t familiar with you! Voice: My name is Voice, Victorious Obligations Inside the Chosen Entity (Zachary Vick). I start my story off by witnessing my brother getting stabbed in 2008 and I had to go to school the next day and act like everything was fine. I ended up hiding in the locker room during gym class and turned my mp3 all the way up and threw it at the wall. The headphones got caught on my hoodie and fell to my feet. Still hearing the beat I sank to the floor and began to write about how I felt and only being able to hear the beat, it naturally evolved into a song. That very night when I got home I went to the public library to download a beat onto the mp3 player and recorded the entire thing on it. All up until I lost my mp3 player I would play that song on repeat. It was my sanctuary and purest source of inspiration I had growing up and developing into the artist I am today.

The Rhythmic Lounge: What is your creative process for songwriting currently? Do you still start with the creation of a poem? Voice: Nowadays my creative process revolves around a full pot of coffee and a boom-pat beat turned up so loud it drowns out my entire environment. I really don't like writing if the beat isn't deafening. The poetry behind the music comes naturally now and I don't have to put extra effort into making it seem like a piece of art, I focus more on every individual word am using to ensure I am projecting exactly what I'm intending to.

The Rhythmic Lounge: Your song “No Escape” deals with the very serious topic of domestic violence. What made you create such a powerful track? Voice: I received a message from a loyal #VoiceNation member one day asking if I had ever created a song about Domestic Violence because she was having a really rough time dealing with her experiences. I reluctantly told her I had never made a song like that, but I promised her that I would help her in any way I could if she would give me the time. About an hour went by and I had written up both verses to the song and called her on the phone so she could be the first to hear it. While on the phone she started crying and couldn't stop telling me how thankful she was that a song like that now existed just for her and based on her true story. I never had the intention of raising awareness for Domestic Violence but as an artist it is my duty to help out in any way I can. I am glad that encounter happened for many reasons but most notably is the live performance side, every show I have ever done and performed "No Escape" at has left the crowd with tears in their eyes. It's moving to know that even as a single person you can still make a difference.

The Rhythmic Lounge: Do you have any news or upcoming events that you’d like to mention to our readers? Voice: I just want #VoiceNation to know how much I love their support and that without it I would be nothing. I have been told my music is the reason some people are still here today and those people need to know the fact that they are here is the only reason I am here as well. I look forward to networking with many more talented artists in the future and I am a very open and easy to approach person. Go to my website and click any social media logo and send me a message and I'll respond ASAP, whether it's music, acting, modeling, or just community relations I will help out in any way I can. CHARLES MOORER AND THE FAITHFUL FEW !! Over 20 years ago, Chuck Moorer left his native Ohio and moved to L.A. to pursue his musical dreams. Considering that the talented singer and bassist was raised up in church, and sang at gospel concerts as a kid everywhere from Akron University, Kent State University, Prayer Tower Church of God In Christ, and a host of other churches and events, it surprised some that he was pursuing secular music. Exploring his passion for R&B/funk and jazz, he was in several of those kinds of bands throughout college and beyond. It took a lot of soul searching, a bunch of hard knocks and closed doors, and some definitive signs (which all came with wild stories) to bring him back to the Lord. Once he felt that God “pricked” his heart and he headed back home musically and physically, his sense of purpose became much clearer.

! !

While attending the NAACP Image Awards one year in L.A., Chuck met legendary Grammy winning gospel singer and pastor Donnie McClurkin, who kindly remembered an email Chuck had sent him a few years earlier about their mutual love for Donnie’s major inspiration, Andrae Crouch. McClurkin told Chuck how, for him, pastoring and music ministry came together perfectly, like a hand in a glove, with one complementing the other to uplift people’s lives and draw their souls closer to God. Chuck was attentive as the singer told him how while his music is blessing the church; his preaching in turn blessed his music ministry. McClurkin’s words, combined with a rededication to the Lord and Chuck’s rediscovery of gospel via contemporary genre superstar Fred Hammond and his ensemble Commissioned, inspired a whole new, incredible double life for Chuck as a pastor and singer. For over 12 years now, every Sunday morning, the congregation at Divine Direction Christian Church in Indianapolis, an affiliate of the Indiana Wesleyan Church, come to hear “Pastor Chuck” sing and preach. He says, “Singing calms me and helps me focus on the message I’m about to share.” Chuck also leads a band of musical ministers called the Faithful Few Music Ministry, whose original lineup he formed in 2000. The Faithful Few’s primary mission has been to expand beyond the four walls of the church and outreach to all people across the world. The group, now releasing their 7-track debut album Divine Direction under the name Charles Moorer & The Faithful Few, plays a dynamic mixture of traditional and contemporary gospel styles with a touch of jazz and funk that ministers to all age groups. Although it is Chuck’s desire and that of his band and singers that the music be used to encourage people to meet God in Christ all around the world, a portion of the proceeds from Divine Direction will go to the Indiana Make-A-Wish Foundation, which was supportive of Chuck and his family when his son Chadwin, then 16, was battling renal sickle cell carcinoma, a form of cancer that gave him a 10% survival rate. The wish they provided turned into a celebration of life when Chadwin was miraculously healed. Charles himself was healed of cancer just a few years later. Another unique element of the recording is the fact that it has seven tracks – just as Pastor Charles promises all future Faithful Few albums will. “In the Bible, starting with the creation story, the number seven is God’s number for completion,” he says. “If it’s good enough for Him, it’s good enough for us!”

! ! The Rhythmic Lounge: Please introduce yourself and give the readers a brief background for those who aren’t familiar with you! Charles Moorer: I am Charles Moorer aka "Pastor Chuck" lead vocals and bass player of Charles Moorer and The Faithful Few and Senior Pastor of Divine Direction Christian Church out of Indianapolis, Indiana. Charles Moorer and the Faithful Few is made up of a group of wonderful people, Forrest Wooley III (drummer), Kyle Maxwell (percussion), Carmen Cotham (vocals), Chelsea Moorer (vocals), Todd Bennett (guitar), and Carla Maxwell (keyboards). What is unique is that all the members have ministries at the church. The ministry has been in existence for approximately 16 years and though not on purpose, we tend to have more of a gospel smooth jazz and rhythm and blues style and really enjoy playing it and practicing it every other Friday night for many years.

TRL: Do you believe that your opportunities and level of success would have been limited if you had not made the move from Ohio to L.A.? CM: The move to LA allowed my meeting many hardworking and wonderful people who, in some shape form or fashion, influenced my thinking and the way I perceive my purpose in life. In addition, the move from Ohio to LA gave me a better appreciation for where I came from and the values given to me by my parents and the appreciation at another level, for the love and support of my family. No question in my mind the move from Ohio to LA had a short and long term impact on my life and the way I perceive what my purpose in life truly is,

TRL: How did Charles Moorer and the Faithful Few come about? CM: In the early 2000's I formed the group. Over the years there has been changes as the group went through a make over in key role positions. However, out of that make over with the exception Forrest Wooley III who has been with me since the inception of the group, new members came to the ministry and have been a part of the ministry 9 to 12 years on average.

TRL: What has been the biggest career accomplishment as a group thus far? CM: We have done so many things. However, I think the biggest accomplishment was completing our first album entitled "Divine Direction" and getting out at "Lifeway Christian Bookstores" around the country as well as Amazon, ITunes, IHeart, and many, many others. The group is also part of the ALJ Agency, which has been working to get our music played in some very good venues.

TRL: Are there any upcoming events or projects that you’d like to mention? CM: We will be traveling to Las Vegas in March 24 through the 26 to participate in the Nehemiah project concert. We will also be participating in the North Carolina Gospel Announcers guild showcase in June 14 through the 16th. We will also be working in concert with the Indiana Children's Wish Fund to assist with them with their goal of raising money to continue helping terminally Ill kids and their families. All blessings and an opportunity to spread the message of Jesus Christ in song. Does not get any better then that!!!!

Reynoldson “Sonny” Dumarsais (Doo-Mar- Say) is an

accomplished musician/songwriter who came from humble beginnings playing lead guitar for his church. The trajectory of Sonny’s musical career changed when his family suffered a terrible fouralarm fire that destroyed his family’s home. Sonny lost everything in the fire, including his prized guitar. Down and out, the life changing experience inspired Sonny to begin writing lyrics and composing songs to express real life stories of hope. Sonny’s talent also allowed him to share the stage as the lead guitarist with artists he admired such as Angie Stone, Ne-Yo and Anthony Hamilton to name a few. Sonny has played in legendary venues such as the Howard Theatre and BB Kings, alongside the likes of Lyfe Jennings and Elle Varner. Winter 2016, Sonny joined Jeremiah’s Kall Productions to manage his transition from musician to solo artist. As a solo artist, Sonny longs to inspire young people to achieve greatness as he strives to be the voice for those filled with anguish seeking songs that express optimism. He desires to speak to this generation one listening ear at a time. Sonny wants his songs of hope to inspire youth to know; “They can achieve anything they want to achieve no matter the circumstance.” https://www.sonnydumarsais.com Facebook- Sonny Dumarsais Instagram- sonny_dumarsais Twitter- @SonnyDumarsais

The Rhythmic Lounge: Please introduce yourself and give the readers a brief background for those who aren’t familiar with you! Sonny Dumarsais: Gladly! I'm Sonny Dumarsais! A 26-year-old Haitian born young man raised in Irvington, New Jersey. I grew up in a very religious, God fearing family. My mother is a well-known spiritual figure in the New Jersey community. I grew up accompanying my mother as she ministered around New Jersey. During those formative years, I found my love for music, which started on the drums at 3 years of age. By age 14, I watched a MTV video featuring Wyclef playing guitar. Immediately, I knew I wanted to play the guitar. Playing the guitar became very serious for me at age16. My church musical director recognized my focus and taught me how to be a professional musician. Understanding the rules of professionalism lead to getting many opportunities to perform many local gigs with different bands. The experience with different bands helped craft my skills as a guitarist. The first opportunity to tour came with a call from Elle Varner's father Jimmy Varner (thanks to the suggestion of my good friend Dave Drake who worked with her already). Mr. Varner asked me to play with Elle in Aruba at the Souls Beach Music Festival. That show we opened for Ne-Yo. After that came another opportunity (also by suggestions of other musicians) for me to play for budding artist Ari Lennox and that allowed me to play in New York at venues like BB kings and SOBs. The same year of the Souls Beach Music Festival, my family and I suffered a four-alarm fire. I lost everything in the fire except the clothes on my back. My guitar succumbed to the flames in our house fire. With no way to express myself without the beloved music of my guitar, it forced me to start writing. First, I started writing poetry, then songs, and next the musical compositions to support the songs. Still working as a full time musician, I was afforded the opportunity to play for Lyfe Jennings. Almost 3 years later I'm still playing with Lyfe and it's been an amazing experience. In 2016, I decided join Jeremiah's Kall Productions, whom has helped young men such as myself to take their careers to the next level (when and if their ready, which I wasn't at first but, my drive overtook my fears). Now that I have a manager, C. NaTasha Richburg, to support my journey as an artist. I really just want to inspire people with my continuing story braced by music. I'm just a young man on a mission to make music that inspires people to believe in the God that saved my life.

TRL: Your path to where you are now with your life and with music was not an easy one. What advice do you have for those who are having to deal with a personal struggle or life-changing event? SD: First, my advice is to never give up! Never! Ever! Give up! Second, keep pushing to find a way out of no way in order to make your dreams come true. Third, use your resources. Many times it's not just about what you do, it is who you know. Fourth, allow God to take control of your situation. Fifth, practice-practice-practice very hard; never stop perfecting your craft. I still feel like a beginner, not because I haven't done anything but because I'm always learning. In the music business, it's best to be slow to speak, quick to listen, ready to learn and flexible to adapt.

TRL: Have you considered expanding your talent into other areas of music or entertainment? If so, which? SD: Yes absolutely! As I move forward with my career in music I definitely want to put out many solo albums as well as write for other artists. When the time is right in the far off future, I will avail myself to explore my other talents. Currently, I am ready to introduce the world to music and videos that feature the inspirational neosoul lyricism of Sonny Dumarsais.

TRL: What has been your biggest career moment thus far? SD: That's hard to say! I've been blessed to do a variety of things in my career so far and of course I hope to do more. Right now, however, I'd have to say recently my first show as a solo artist that happened in New York City at The Delancey is my biggest career moment thus far. The Delancey show was incredible for more reasons than one because I saw both of my parents and my older sister in attendance. That moment felt like success to me.

TRL: Are there any upcoming events or projects that you’d like to mention? SD: Yes!! Throughout the spring in summer I will be playing many different venues in New York City!! On May 27th I will be playing with an awesome line up of artist at LoveCraft Stage 1! June 30th I will be back at The Delancey. July 13th I’m playing at "the Well"! Also! My single "Someday" is coming out soon and will be available at all outlets!!! The video for “Someday” will follow the single! I'm very excited about that! I can’t wait for the people to hear my heart in my songs that will be on my debut album called "The Process." “The Process” will tell the world my story throughout the music and lyrics. I hope “The Process” will touch the hearts of many people

Kevon Pagis

was born October 6th, 1990 in Monroe, Louisiana. At the age

of two his mother moved them to Shreveport La. Where he spent his childhood into his early twenties. At the age of eight he began to rap. He grew up listening to various artist and was greatly influenced by many which include; No limit, Wayne, Lupe, Pimp C, HOV, NWA, Andre, NOS, Most Def, Kanye, ACDC and most importantly Nirvana. At the age of only nineteen he was offered several record deals with a couple mainstream labels. However, due to some unfortunate differences he stepped away from the offers and followed his dreams under his own conditions. Kevon than decided to move in with one of his uncles where he spent three years virtually not moving to profect his craft. Within that time he signed with Thug World Universal. However, shortly after, Kevon made the decision to take time off and spend the next two years raising his newborn daughter Freedom. This is when he gained knowledge of his philosophy on his music. As he states "It's therapeutic.. It's full of sound. The vibrations I send out will alter the vibrations of the listener. Which is all we have and is essentially the best form of communication." With his new and refreshed mind. Kevon took a leap of faith and moved to Houston, TX at the age of twenty-five. He there found his rhythm again and got back into his music full time. Kevon Pagis is now at the top of his game and ready to take over as he states; "My art is all over, its everything. I cover all views.. From being the shooter to the person being shot or from Gods perspective to the sinners perspective. I cultivate every emotion I ever had." This is surely what you will see and understand with his latest projects. He is the future of music!

The Rhythmic Lounge: Please introduce yourself and give the readers a brief background for those who aren’t familiar with you! I’m Kevon Pagis. An artist originally from Shreveport, LA. I say artist and not rapper because i do more than rap. But indeed Hip-Hop is my first love, my lifestyle, my spirituality. But I wouldn't call myself spiritual by traditional standards. I kind of just do and feel what i want. And everything that i am is subject to change because of my will to live. And to me, you can't really live if you're not ever evolving.

TRL: What effect (positive or negative) did being born and raised in Louisiana have on the creative path that you chose? I guess I should start with the negative so we can end on a positive note. Growing up in Louisiana is hard. It's not just the hood; its economical structure in its entirety is rough. So that forces my side of town to have little hope when there's not much to look for in the entire city. Violence is somewhat of normality so naturally growing up we're subjected to partake in a plethora of undesirable activities. These adversities make for great motivation though. No one wants to live like that. So we work hard with the talents we're blessed with. This is where it gets positive. We want better for our kids so we work with HipHop and any other opportunities to raise awareness of our situation and promote and platform that would allow us to rise above it. The stories i tell are mostly influenced by Louisiana. I cherish my soul and passion so much because i come from a place where that can be taken in a heartbeat. Plus you can't beat the creative energy that Jazz promotes and everyone knows Louisiana culture is heavily influenced by that groove.

TRL: What would you say has been your biggest career moment so far? That question is a difficult one. I consider every move extremely important, but to date, if i had to choose I'd say performing in Atlanta. There were so many people and i gained lots of new fans. And the radio station allowed me to freestyle so my flow introduced me to newly intrigued ears.

TRL: Have you considered expanding your talent into other areas of entertainment? If so, which? Yeh like I mentioned before I’m bigger than rap. And that’s not coming from an arrogant state of mind. What i mean is I’m not confined to just one form of artistry. I’ve co-written books that are being published as we speak. I’ve also directed short films and i direct musical videos. My sister and I organize motivational events for children to become more aware of their potential and learn to focus on manifest creation also. There are plenty of avenues I’m invested in currently but i plan on a lot more also.

TRL: Are there any upcoming events or projects that you’d like to mention? I do want to talk about my album 'Best Rapper Alive Under29'. There's a single out worldwide right now I’m leading with called "Freedom". This will actually be my first album and i worked really hard on it. I don't want to spoil the messages and overall theme so just wait til you hear it and will see what synopsis you come up with. Also I will be just about everywhere during spring and summer and fall so just be on the look out for my name on a flyer near you.

Tidy Dillard I have a nonprofit organization called cab Comedians Against Bullying and we go to different grade schools, middle schools, high schools, colleges and workplaces to talk to people about bullying. We are also booked to go and help people in the community regarding everything from “all lives matter” to bullying and they can also book C.A.B. for any event. I've been doing comedy for 20 years. I've been on BET Comic View twice, HBO's Comedy Festival, Comedy Central, Jay Leno Stars and Who's Got Talent I can also be booked to do grade schools, High School proms, all colleges and bars and am proud to say that I am a member of the Phi Beta Sigma organization! If you want to book Tidy Dillard or C.A.B. Comedians Against Bullying, please contact me at 816-210-2217 or Tidee11_2001@yahoo.com I can be searched on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook under “Tidy Dillard” or “Tiny Funny Man Dillard”

We are always looking for sponsors, investors and people that might want to join my non-forprofit organization against bullying!

The Rhythmic Lounge: Please introduce yourself and give the readers a brief background for those who aren’t familiar with you! Hello world My name is Tidy Dillard i am a comedian, producer, actor and model. I am also the owner of a nonprofit organization call cab (comedian against bullies), I am also very educated I have a master degree in arts and communication, I have a bachelor in secondary education. I have been doing comedy and acting for the last 20 years with good success. Some of my greatest is as follows, BET Comic View, Jay Leno, Comedy Central, HBO Comedy Festival,Starz etc. I'm also a member of the black fraternity Phi Beta Sigma and I also writes Tv shows.

TRL: What was the main reason behind creating your organization Comedians Against Bullying? I created CAB( comedians against bullies), because I am tired of seeing people get picked on and there's no one doing nothing about it until it's too late. I just want people to know that when you get bullied or you're allowing a person to be bully, this can be the start of a person's downfall; because you never know what direction they will be going.

TRL: What has been your biggest career accomplishment thus far? Some of my biggest accomplishments are my kids, I am the first in my family to graduate from college and the first in my generation to graduate with a master's degree. All of my television debuts were done by the grace of God, I have no manager so I did all the talking myself. I have also sent many girls and guys to college either playing sports or academics, so most of all I feel blessed.

TRL: Do you have any upcoming events that you’d like to mention to our readers? At this moment the only events I have coming up I have several colleges book, I'm also working on several TV shows and most of all I'm trying to get my nonprofit organization off the ground.
