Erin!Lenchner!is!an!artist!with!a!sense!of!humour!and!strong!leaning!towards!being! sarcastic.!!She!mainly!creates!drawings!in!trading!card!sizes,!up!to!two!or!three!per! day.!Taking!her!inspiration!from!a!wide!range!of!photographs!or!live!models,!she! sketches,!inks,!and!then!paints!her!subjects.!!She!does!not!just!paint!“pretty!women! in!the!nude!to!make!some!money”!but!uses!her!style!to!“portray!an!imperfect! world.”!The!female!form!provides!Erin!not!just!with!an!honest!subject!but!also!a!way! to!make!a!statement!about!modern!life.!The!card!size!drawings!pour!sarcasm!on!the! idolisation!of!naked!women.!Lenchner!is!not!one!to!go!with!trends!or!agree!with!the! mainstream!views.!Each!drawing!gets!a!name!as!well!to!really!cement!the!meaning.! Born!in!Detroit,!Michigan,!Erin!has!been!creating!art!since!she!was!just!three!years! old.!!Her!BFA!is!from!Wayne!State!University!and!she!attended!many!other!classes! and!private!schools.!Still!residing!in!Detroit,!her!studio!is!in!the!Burton!School!
