Debuting his fall collection, Algernon Johnson put on a marvelous fashion show for patrons and special guests. The venue was Future Vision, located in Midtown, and was the perfect setting for this intimate affair. His ideas and vision could be seen on various models throughout the night. Bright colors, dresses with pockets, and outsidethe-box designs flooded the night as creativity could be seen throughout the walkway. Special guests included host Dominique Scott (TLC’s the Sisterhood), Momma Dee (Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta), Jonna Johnson (NFL Wifey, Model, and actress), various cast from the new reality show Single Mothers of Atlanta, child model Aja, and a performance by Caribbean artist Stylez.

Fashion lovers from all over Atlanta came out to see Fashion Night Out ATL at The Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery. This is a world-class venue for such a special gala to kick off New York City’s Fashion Week. FNO ATL put on their second show and gave fashion designers and boutique owners the opportunity to meet Atlanta’s fashion professionals, see the newest trends, and kick off the new season in Fashion & Style. FNO ATL sold out in February 2013 with 700 RSVPs in two weeks. This beautiful event was hosted by 2012 Miss Jamaica Universe Chantal Zaky and 2010 Miss USA Jessica Black . FNO ATL was created by Renee Knorr, Editor-in-Chief of My Beauti Network. Some of the brands featured were: Beware Swimwear, Alex Holliman Collection, FarrierBell Fashion, Teodora B., LeGair Brand, and Foxxie Boutique. This year’s experience was a night of fashion, live music, entertainment, education, and a luxury experience benefiting emerging talents globally. The next FNO event will take place in February 2014.

Arbiter of style, Jeffrey Kalinsky, creator of two namesake boutiques in Atlanta and Manhattan and the founder of Jeffrey Fashion Cares, teamed up with Event Chairs Lila Hertz, Jeffrey McQuithy, Louise Sams and newcomer Ken Britt, to host Atlanta’s premier social charity event. The official kick-off to Atlanta’s fall social season, Jeffrey Fashion Cares took over the stunning lobby of the American Cancer Society Center. Benefiting the Atlanta AIDS Fund (AAF) and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Greater Atlanta Affiliate, the 2013 celebration will featured a pre-show cocktail reception, fashion show, silent and live auctions, and an after-party. Over the past 21 years, Jeffrey Fashion Cares (Atlanta and New York) has grown into one of the largest combined AIDS and breast cancer benefits in the country having raised over $11 million. The highly anticipated runway show featured selections from Jeffrey’s Fall/Winter Collection including looks from high-end designers such as Lanvin, Celine, Erdem, Marni, Dries Van Noten, Balenciaga, Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Prada and Alexander Wang.
