Bill Burr We were lucky enough to review a comedy show of one of the funniest comedians I’ve ever seen! Atlanta was fortunate enough to host the amazing comedian Bill Burr recently at the Tabernacle and it was outstanding! The openers for him were pretty good too and once he came out his set must’ve been close to two hours long. Every bit of it was hilarious and even involved the audience at certain points. One of the more memorable moments was when he picked a young lady out the audience who incorrectly yelled “dumber is a word!” To which he responded “Oh really? because I hear a few hundred people that disagree with you.” Now anyone who goes to a comedy show knows 2 things: First, be weary of sitting within eyesight (the first 3-5 rows) because there’s a 95% chance the comedian will talk about you. Second, if you’re going to interrupt their set, you better be funny or correct about whatever the comedian was talking about. In this case she was neither... and once she gathered “dumber” was not a word she proceeded to say “I can google it if you want?” while the crowd laughed he said “No I don’t want you to ****** google it. I hate it when people give incorrect statements with such confidence, like they know what the hell they’re talking about!” He probably went 15 minutes in another direction just because of her, it was hilarious. We would definitely suggest seeing him live, even if he’s not in your city but close by. We absolutely promise you it will be worth the drive! We saw him recently on Showtime doing stand-up but he’s also been on two episodes of Breaking Bad and has his own podcast called The Monday Morning Podcast.
