Mr Boo’s body Foundation ring: See description of how to make a magic ring here. Crochet 5 dc into the ring. Round 1: Work 2 dc in each stitch of last round = 10 sts. Round 2: *1 dc, 2 dc into the next stitch* repeat 4 times = 15 sts. Round 3: *1 dc in the next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st* rep 4 times = 20 sts. Round 4: *1 dc in the next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st* rep 4 times = 25 sts. Round 5: *1 dc in the next 4 sts, 2 dc in next st* rep 4 times = 30 sts. Rounds 6-16: Work 1 dc in each of the next 30 sts on every round. Join with a ss. Fasten off wool. Mr Boo’s arms Foundation ring: Crochet 4 dc into the ring. Round 1: Work 2 dc in each stitch of last round (8 dc). Rounds 2-8: Work 8 dc in each round. Join with a ss. Fasten off wool. Base: Foundation ring: Work 5 dc into the ring. Round 1: Work 2 dc in each stitch of last round = 10 sts. Round 2: *1 dc, 2 dc into the next stitch* rep x 4 = 15 sts. Round 3: *1 dc in the next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st* rep x 4 = 20 sts. Round 4: *1 dc in the next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st* rep x 4 = 25 sts. Round 5: *1 dc in the next 4 sts, 2 dc in next st* = 30 sts.

What you need

Some white and orange wool. Crochet needle 2.5. Black and pink felt to cut out mouth and eyes. Glue Cotton or polyester filling.


How to make up Mr Boo

> Stuff the body with filling. > Crochet together Mr Boo’s base with the main body using dc. > Sew arms onto the body.

How to make up Pumpkin

> Sew Pumkin’s top onto the body, hmm... if you can call it a body.

Pumpkin Head’s body Foundation ring: Work 5 dc into the ring. Round 1: Work 2 dc in each stitch of last round = 10 sts. Round 2: *1 dc, 2 dc into the next stitch* rep x 4 =15 sts.
