MONUMENTAL YEAR FOR ShEFFIELD MUSIC

2023 is set to be a landmark year in the city’s music history, as some of Sheffield’s bestknown exports return to play historic headlining shows.

Think of any major music era in the last 60 years and there will be a Sheffield band/artist helping define it.

From the bluesy 60s to emerging electronica in the 70s, synth-pop and glam metal of the 80s, through to chart-topping 90s Britpop and the New Yorkshire indie movement of the noughties, Sheffield’s popular music credentials rival that of any UK city. And so, it goes without

saying that Sheffield has staged its fair share of live music spectacles over the years too. However, 2023 is set to be a landmark year in the city’s music history, as several of Sheffield’s best-known exports return to play historic headlining shows.

Arctic Monkeys Hillsborough Park, 9 & 10 June

One of the biggest bands in the world, Arctic Monkeys return to play two special homecoming shows this summer. Ahead of another headline slot at Glastonbury Festival and following the release of their latest album, The Car, the band are set to

PULP Utilita Arena, 14 & 15 July

Reunited once again, PULP return to Sheffield Arena for two homecoming shows this summer.

Long-time friend and fellow Sheffielder, Richard Hawley will also be joining as a special guest.

Self Esteem at Rock N Roll Circus

Think pink as Hollywood’s favourite blonde comes to town!

The show that took the dumb out of being blonde and makes pink the hottest colour in town is coming back to Sheffield in a fantastic new production!

Legally Blonde is the award-winning hit musical inspired by a Hollywood classic comedy. It’s the story of Elle Woods, the girl who appears to have it all until her life is turned upside-down when her boyfriend dumps her to attend Harvard Law School.

Determined to get him back, Elle sets off in pursuit but surprises herself when she discovers that she too has the potential to be a legal eagle, overcoming dumb blonde stereotypes and taking the court room by storm as she tackles the defence in a notorious murder trial. Now the show is coming to Sheffield’s Montgomery Theatre and Arts Centre in a new production from Woodseats Musical Theatre Company that runs from July 12 to 15. It follows a strong of recent Woodseats hits that

includes Half a Sixpence, All Shook Up, Disco Inferno, Footloose and The Wedding Singer. “We are delighted to be back at the Montgomery Theatre with such a great show,” said Woodseats chair May Newey.

“Legally Blonde is packed with fantastic songs, spectacular routines and a story that has delighted audiences both on stage and screen and we have an outstanding cast that will bring it all to exciting new life.”

Legally Blonde is directed by Sue Curr, assisted by Dylan Lambert, with musical direction by Dominic Ridler and choreography by Amber Parry and Lily Abram.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Weston Park Cancer Charity are thrilled to announce they’re launching a brand new event, Walk as One, on Sunday 17th September at Endcliffe Park Sheffield.

Walk as One was originally planned in May 2020 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the charity but had to be sadly postponed due to Covid lockdowns. The event will include an accessible 4 mile walk as well as a more challenging 10 mile route for walkers to take part in.

Whether you take part in the 4 mile waterside walk or 10 mile challenge route, you can join us to raise funds, celebrate the charity’s achievements and enjoy a fun-filled day, outdoors. For many it will be a special chance to remember someone too, and to walk in their memory.

One in two of us will develop cancer, which is why working together, supporting each other and uniting to face cancer really matters. That’s why we’re calling on you to Walk as One. Weston Park Cancer Charity promises patients and families that they’ll be together at every step, ready to help people through the many different challenges of cancer; practical, emotional and physical. Cat Rhone, Deputy CEO of Weston Park Cancer Charity commented; “When cancer changes everything, so can we – Weston Park Hospital and Weston Park Cancer Charity work together, making life-saving

research and trials possible, raising funds to improve facilities and caring for patients and families in every sense. Our inaugural Walk as One event will be an opportunity to celebrate everyone who has given their expertise, generosity, trust and collaboration to get us this far.

Today, cancer affects one in two of us – it’s more important than ever that we can be ready for anyone who needs us. We, and the work we do, depends on the generosity of our fundraisers, donors and supporters.”

The money raised through Walk as One will help deliver the kind of activity that is changing lives for people living with and beyond cancer:

Providing support, through Weston Park Cancer Support, where patients and families can find emotional, practical support, help and guidance, a place to be and people to be with.

Enabling vital research and clinical trials of global relevance, enabling our medical professionals to understand and treat cancer better, in a way that changes and saves lives.

Enhancing treatments by delivering complementary therapies, improving the environment on wards and facilities for patients and visitors, to improve the experience and often the impact of treatment. Weston Park Cancer Charity is also calling on volunteers to sign up and help with keeping the walkers motivated, registrations and presenting medals as walkers cross the finish line.

If you’re ready to Walk as One, you can join Weston Park Cancer Charity on Sunday 17th September in Endcliffe Park, Sheffield.

INsURING NEw dRIvERs

Passing your driving test is an exciting time for any new driver, but it’s easy to forget all the essential steps that are required of you before you can legally get behind the wheel.

Finding and understanding

car insurance for new drivers can be confusing and overwhelming, which is why insurance experts have revealed a tell-all guide for any new driver looking to insure their car. This guide will help new drivers to make more educated decisions about insurance.

What type of insurance is required by new drivers?

Whether you’ve been driving for years or are a new driver itching to get on the roads, the law requires you to have third-party insurance at a minimum. You can be prosecuted, fined or even face court if you are caught driving without insurance, and it’s possible your car could be taken or destroyed.

New drivers who may struggle to afford a car or policy can be added to another person’s policy as a named driver. This person does not have to be a family member or relative!

How much is it to insure a car for a new driver?

Car insurance for new drivers, especially those aged between 17-25, can be expensive, so it’s important to look around and explore all the options before choosing which insurance policy to go for. There are several factors that will determine the cost of the insurance; these are:

• Age

• Type of vehicle

• Where the car is kept

• How the vehicle will be used (if it will be used to commute)

• Driver behaviour (does the driver have any previous claims or points

baN ON COal salEs

pROTECT pENsIONERs

on their license)

• How safe and secure the car is (how likely the car is to get into an accident or get stolen)

Although you can become a new driver at any age, it is particularly common for young drivers to be charged more for insuring their car. In the UK, young drivers are expected to pay an average of £1,800 per year to insure their vehicle. Young drivers are charged more to insure a car due to lack of experience, meaning they are deemed high-risk.

To make insurance cheaper, you can pay for the year’s policy upfront; however, if this is too much of costly payment to make at one time, you can opt to pay monthly.

There are also ways that a young or new driver can reduce the cost of insurance premiums; these can include:

Insure a car with a smaller engine – a smaller engine is less likely to be involved in high-speed accidents as they are less powerful.

Get insured on a black box policy – black boxes allow the insurer to monitor the speed and behaviours of how you drive.

Add a low-risk and experienced driver to your policy –adding experienced drivers, such as parents, relatives or older friends, onto your insurance can, in some cases, help to reduce the price. Make sure, though, that this added driver does not, at any point, pretend to be the vehicle’s main driver, as this is illegal.

Pay a higher voluntary excess –paying a higher voluntary excess fee on top of your required excess can help reduce the price. It can cause you to pay more in some cases, though, if you need to make a claim.

Following a ban on bagged house-coal sales in England, the sale of loose house coal is set to become illegal from 1 May 2023, homeowners who favour coal for domestic burning will very soon need to find a suitable approved alternative.

In light of this, two of the UK’s leading fuel heating organisations, are advising consumers still using house coal that it is time to prepare and switch to a different fuel for their domestic burning needs. Outlawing the sale of wetter wood and house coal (also known as bituminous coal), the Air Quality (Domestic Solid Fuels Standards) (England) Regulations 2020 acknowledged house-coal as the most polluting fuels used in Britain’s homes.

The only exemption from the new legislation is traditional house coal extracted and sold from the Forest of Dean, which will continue to be sold locally due to the history of mining within the area. Here, a total of six mines will remain and an agreement between Defra (the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) and The Royal Forest of Dean Freeminers’ Association means the sale of the coal will help to keep the only working coalfield in the UK open.

Having had two years to prepare for the ban, approved coal merchants will be able to advise consumers on the most suitable alternative solid fuels to switch to, ensuring they are ready for when the enforcement comes into place. Alternatives include those manufactured solid fuels (MSFs) which have been verified as being “smokeless” and all of which meet relevant standards for sulphur content and smoke emissions under the Ready to Burn scheme. These can be a good alternative to house coal as they can be utilised on existing appliances designed to burn mineral

fuels, whilst also burning more efficiently, rendering them less polluting and more cost-effective than traditional coal. Regardless of what type of fuel consumers opt for as an alternative, they should look out for the Ready to Burn certification mark. Appointed by Defra, HETAS and Woodsure administer the Ready to Burn schemes for MSFs and wood fuel respectively. This is a trusted mark which makes it easy for consumers to not only identify fuels that are suitable for immediate use, but also to reduce their impact on air quality and the level of fine particulates emitted from their home.

Bruce Allen, chief executive officer for HETAS and Woodsure, comments: “With the extended legislation coming into play from 1 May 2023, we want homeowners to be clear on the right fuels to burn. By looking out for Ready to Burn fuel, we are confident that those who have traditionally preferred house coal will easily be able to choose an alternative fuel which will lessen the impact their domestic burning has on the environment.”

Homeowners should note that the 1 May ban relates to the sale of coal only. Those who have prepurchased coal and have stockpiles can use them up. However, our advice remains to seek out an alternative solution that’s not only better for the environment but for the appliances as well.

For more information, don’t hesitate to speak to your registered installer or approved chimney sweep who will be able to offer advice on a suitable fuel for your appliance. For further advice, visit the HETAS Advice Hub.

For more information about cleaner, safer choices for solid fuel use within the home, visit hetas.co.uk or woodsure. co.uk.

Elder fraud is where fraudsters target your parents, grandparents and those from the elderly community. Fraudsters often take advantage of those who aren’t tech-savvy, so familiarising yourself with scams can lead to preventing the fraudsters from being successful.

Cybersecurity experts have compiled a list of tips to spot and prevent fraud. What is elder fraud and who are the targets?

Fraudsters target seniors in elder fraud by tricking them into giving sensitive information or offering fake financial benefits. Perpetrators could be strangers or known to the elderly, like family, friends or colleagues, and victims can lose their savings and suffer devastating consequences. Older adults are a prime target for fraudsters. They normally target victims in retirement or close to retirement as they have a steady income, excellent credit history and more savings than younger people.

The most common scams for elders to look out for:

• Grandparent scams: Scammers often pose as the victim’s grandchild to dupe seniors into sending money urgently for emergency expenses like overdue rent or car repairs. They often ask for secrecy, and in one case, an elderly woman was scammed of £20,000 by someone posing as law enforcement in 2019.

• Romance scams: Romance scams often target women 50 and above, but men can be victims too. Scammers will usually target seniors who have lost their spouses and are looking

for companionship. An example of would be perpetrators requesting money transfers or gift card vouchers sent to an email address.

• False charity scams: Fraudsters may pose as representatives from a real charity or create fictitious charity organisations. They can make calls, text, or send emails. In some cases, they may even visit seniors in person. False charity schemes commonly happen after a significant event, like a health crisis, global sociopolitical campaigns, or a natural disaster.

What are some other common types of elder fraud?

Protecting seniors from scams is crucial, as scammers use various methods to steal personal information and money.

Elder scams include fake medical schemes, investment scams, and phishing emails, taking advantage of the complexity of the healthcare system and seniors’ fixed income. To avoid falling victim, seniors and their loved ones should research charities, verify emails and phone calls, and be cautious of unsolicited requests for money or personal information.

Additionally, seniors should beware of insurance coverage scams, romance scams, government impersonation, sweepstakes and lottery scams, identity theft, and tech support scams. Taking precautions and being aware of these scams can help prevent them.

Tips to prevent seniors from being scammed

• Stay connected to your

loved ones to prevent isolation, which makes them more vulnerable to scams.

• Warn them never to share sensitive information and explain why.

• Help them create strong, unique passwords and avoid reusing them.

• Limit online shopping to trusted retailers and check for secure websites.

• Never click on suspicious links in emails, social media messages, texts, or take calls from fake caller IDs.

• Monitor monthly banking statements for signs of identity theft or unauthorised accounts. Shred statements before disposing of them.

• Protect social media accounts by only accepting friend requests from people they know, updating privacy settings, and using multi-factor authentication. Delete messages from strangers and avoid odd payment types.

• Encourage your parents to name you as a Trusted

Contact Person to speak with their financial advisors if there are concerns.

• Warn other family and friends if one of your loved ones has experienced a scam attempt. Discuss how to prevent fraudulent attempts.

What to do if a senior has been a victim of elder fraud

If an elderly person you know has been scammed, it’s important not to panic and to stay calm. Document everything that has happened, including phone call logs, text messages, and emails, and report the scam to person’s bank and credit card providers. File a report with the local police and change all passwords to stronger ones, including social media accounts and investment profiles, setting different passwords for each site and enabling 2-Factor Authentication.

Theatre at Risk Doncaster Grand Theatre receives over £6000 as part of restorative project

The Friends of Doncaster Grand Theatre have been awarded £6500 as part of a project to help remember the Grand Theatre as a working theatre.

The aim of the project will see individuals record their memories of the theatre, whilst separately, appropriate work will be done to digitalise many of the old artefacts and memorabilia associated with the Grade II listed building.

Doncaster Grand Theatre was just one of seven theatres to receive funding though the first round of the Resilient Theatres: Resilient Communities Grants Programme, a funding programme run by the Theatres Trust, the national advisory body for theatres, set up to help progress the restoration, reopening or revitalisation of At Risk Theatres.

The Resilient Theatres: Resilient Communities programme is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Pilgrim Trust and Swire Charitable Trust. Cllr Nigel Ball, Cabinet member for Public Health, Leisure, Culture and Planning, said: “It is testament to the hard work of those both involved in the process of the bid, and those working to remember the theatre, that this funding has been successful at this stage. My congratulations go to everyone involved and I look forward to seeing all the artefacts and memorabilia brought to life on the many digital platforms available.”

Ken Waight, Chair of the Friends of Doncaster Grand Theatre said: “This is excellent news for all those

involved in helping to preserve the Grand, for the coming years. We have many artefacts, including programmes and posters from past productions, even a document relating to the theatre’s construction in 1899 and their digitisation will ensure they can be made more widely available for viewing in the community. Recording individuals’ memories of what the theatre was like in its prime will also be an essential part of taking the theatre forward.”

Theatres Trust Director Jon Morgan said: “We believe every theatre on our Theatres at Risk list has the potential to be returned for use by their communities, providing performance venues of types currently lacking in their local areas and bringing much needed footfall to town centres. Theatres Trust is delighted to support Doncaster Grand Theatre with this project that will help it move a step closer to its ultimate goal.”

Listed as a Grade II listed building since 1995, The Grand ceased to be a working theatre around 1960 when it was turned into a bingo hall. This later use ceased in the 1990s and it has been vacant ever since. Most recently, a working group – containing the Frenchgate Centre, Friends and City of Doncaster Council among others – has been set up to seek a viable use for the theatre.

Sheffield’s pop goddess ‘Self

Esteem’ AKA Rebecca Lucy Taylor has been confirmed as the latest headliner to take part in Sheffield’s Rock N Roll Circus this year at Don Valley Bowl on Saturday 2nd September.

This announcement comes on the back of two consecutive sell-out shows for Self Esteem at O2 Academy Sheffield, giving music fans in Yorkshire another chance to see one the UK’s most acclaimed new artists.

With more acts to be announced, the line-up – which is being curated by Rebecca herself featuring artists close to her heart - is an all-star diverse line-up that will see Australian indie electro pop band Confidence Man, Drag Race UK break-out star Bimini and the legendary Yorkshire

Arctic Monkeys tribute, Arctic Numpties, all join the party.

Self Esteem is a name on everybody’s lips right now. From her Meadowhall-inspired corset stealing the show at Glastonbury last summer to her most recent tour selling a whopping 44,000 tickets to rave national reviews, Rebecca Lucy Taylor is in high demand.

Following the news that Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will open the new circus themed spectacular atDon Valley Bowl, Self Esteem will now also headline the event on the back of a whirlwind rise to fame.

As Self Esteem, Rebecca Taylor has shaken off the shackles of her indie band past to become the unapologetic pop star she always wanted to be. With her 2019

statement debut ‘Compliments

Please’, Taylor gave voice to the feelings of insecurity and misogyny-induced frustration that many of us face every day, emboldening a whole new audience with powerful, truthtelling lyricism.

Self Esteem’s second studio album, the Mercury Prize nominated (and Guardian newspaper number-one ranked) ‘Prioritise Pleasure’ released late October 2021 propelled the Rotherham born Taylor onto the global stage.

Self Esteem’s ability to convey feeling across all facets of the performance - from choreography to outfit changes to her lyricism and wall-to-wall pop bangers – has earned her plaudits from all corners and she

can’t wait to head to Sheffield this September to play for another eager Yorkshire crowd in what is poised to be a pivotal year for the artist.

Speaking ahead of the Rock N Roll Circus Sheffield show, Self Esteem said today: “SHEFFIELD. I just had to come back one more time before I fully commit to writing again.

“I’ve also curated my actual dream line up to join me. I am genuinely deeply excited. - Don Valley Bowl, Sept 2nd - I promise you this is NOT to be missed!”

Outside of her work as Self Esteem, Taylor turns her hand to numerous other projects, including acting (Taylor has recently been cast in a Film4 film and Sky sitcom), writing (in 2023 she will make her literary debut), composing (Taylor composed the soundtrack for Prima Facie, the arresting one woman play starring Jodie Comer which sold

out a 9 week run in London’s West End, opening on Broadway in Spring 2023) and more.

Tickets will go on presale on Wednesday 19th April.

They will then be available for general sale to the public on Friday 21st April.

BladeS See off BlueBirdS

Three second-half goals saw United run out comfortably against Cardiff City at Bramall Lane on Saturday lunchtime.

Sory Kaba opened the scoring for the visitors from the spot, only for James McAtee to level.

After the interval, Jack Robinson powered home a header, before Iliman Ndiaye and substitute Ciaran Clark added their names to the scoresheet.

Boss Heckingbottom made three changes for the home clash against the Bluebirds, with Davies replacing the suspended Foderingham, fit-again Lowe deputising for the absent Ahmedhodžić (wife in labour), whilst McAtee was recalled at the expense of Norwood in midfield.

United dominated possession throughout the opening exchanges although it was the

visitors through Philogene and then Wintle that had the first sights of goal, with the latter drawing a smart save from Davies. But on 17 minutes, after Kipre had kept a corner alive, Lowe was adjudged to have caught Simpson with a high boot, resulting in a penalty and a booking for the wing-back. From the spot, KABA opened the scoring.

Thankfully, United’s response came within five minutes, as MCATEE got the better of McGuinness and Rinomhota from Berge’s pass, before firing low and hard past Allsop. United were still enjoying plenty of the ball and territory, although City, primarily through Philogene looked dangerous on the break, with Berge cautioned for a foul after Ndiaye had stung the palms of Allsop.

Before the break, both teams had a shot on target, Allsop denied Ndiaye on the angle after the striker got in behind Kipre, whilst Davies stood tall to deny Ralls, who had seemingly capitilised on a slip by Bogle.

Kicking towards the Kop, the Blades were quickly on the front foot in the second period and took the lead after O’Dowda had been booked for holding back McAtee. Doyle’s initially delivery was cleared at the near post but Bogle offered him a second chance and from an inch perfect dipping centre, ROBINSON powered home a diving header as the Lane erupted.

Moments after the goal, an overexcitable challenge from Baldock on Rinomhota saw him carded.

The 73rd minute brought huge concern for the

Blades, Davies saved from Rinomhota, but the ball was kept alive by Ng and Wickham thundered an effort against the crossbar before Doyle eventually cleared the danger as McAtee was replaced by Fleck. Further changes followed with Norwood and Clark taking the places of Doyle and Bogle. On 80 minutes, the game was made safe as unsurprisingly NDIAYE showed great composure to round Allsop before smashing home after a mistake by the retreating McGuinness. That goal seemingly prompted two more changes, with Sharp and Jebbison introduced. Five minutes from time, the Blades added a fourth, with CLARK volleying home from close-range after Cardiff failed to deal with Norwood’s inswinging corner.

Darren Moore said key errors at key moments cost the Owls in our 3-2 defeat to Burton at the Pirelli Stadium. Goals from Callum Paterson and Michael Smith were not enough to seal a positive result against the Brewers, and Moore said Wednesday’s performance was missing in Staffordshire. The gaffer said: “That wasn’t the performance or result we wanted this

afternoon.

“I just said to them that you can’t give any team three goals and expect to get much from the game.

“When you look at the first two goals, they’ve got two first-time contacts, that’s not been us all season.

“We switched off in key moments in the game, gave them three goals and it was always an uphill battle to get back in the match.

“We huffed and puffed, but it tells the story of the game when we had 16 attempts on goal with only seven on target, scoring two. They had seven shots, three on target, three goals.

“Right from the start it wasn’t good enough today and we have to accept it was a poor performance.

“We got ourselves back into the game but key errors at key moments

cost us the result today.

“When you look back at the result, we have no complaints because the performance wasn’t there, and if the performance isn’t there you can’t win a game. “We’ve got to dust ourselves down and when we go to Bristol Rovers on Tuesday, we have to give a better showing than we did this afternoon.”

The son of former Owls goalkeeper Arron Jameson needs your support as he fights a rare form of cancer. Four-year-old Jude was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer, in 2021 and has since undergone several rounds of treatment in the UK.

“It was a pretty even game to start with and there weren’t many

Schofield diSappointed to only Secure a point

Danny Schofield was bitterly disappointed that a strong performance at Harrogate Town brought only a single point after Rovers conceded two preventable goals. Rovers deservedly opened up a two goal lead early in the second half as Luke Molyneux added to Aidan Barlow’s

from several members of the Sheffield Wednesday family since his diagnosis, including club stalwart Liam Palmer, who ran 10 kilometres every day throughout June 2022 to raise awareness and donations for the youngster.

Following incredible backing from the public, Arron and wife Lucy were raising funds to take Jude for advanced treatment in the USA, which can reduce the chances of his cancer returning if his initial care was successful. However, as Jude completed his frontline chances for either team.

I don’t think we were quite good enough with our use of the ball in any stage of the game.

“When we were under pressure just before half time we just needed to hold on a little bit better, I thought we had done with Josh’s save, but one moment of real quality opened us up and we’re 1-0 down.

“Conceding immediately into the second half gave us a mountain to climb.

After that we huffed first half strike but the hosts hit back twice in ten minutes to ensure a share of the spoils.

Schofield on how the game played out:

“It’s disappointing to be leading by two goals and then concede in the manner that we did. It was frustrating so there’s definitely it’s disappointment rather than it being a good away point.

“I thought the goals we scored were excellent and to go 2-0 up and be in control but then not

treatment in November last year, his cancer returned.

Since then, further rounds of treatment have reduced the disease, bringing back options for his family to travel overseas for care that is unavailable in the United Kingdom.

Arron and Lucy said:

“We want to give Jude the best chance of staying cancer-free and we feel like, if Jude is eligible, seeking further maintenance treatment is our best option.

“He’s barely started his life before cancer has and puffed but didn’t do enough.

“We were second best in too many departments today. I’m pleased with how we went about the game after the first half an hour against a top team but from that point on it was difficult afternoon.

“Josh [Vickers] played well again, so he can be pleased with his performance. We thought with the double save at the end of the first half he’d given us a platform be able to deal with how they went more direct and have the first and second contacts. We didn’t have the capability or impact we wanted in those moments.

“We know what League Two is full of and it was definitely a scrap and a battle in the second half. I felt the lads fought really well for long periods bit there were key moments that let us down.

On what changed the game:

“It was more direct balls into our last lines - it

tried to snatch it away from him, we do not want him to go through this again.”

The support of the public has been integral to Jude’s journey so far, and will continue to be, as Arron and Lucy seek the follow-up care their son needs.

If you can donate, please VISIT https://www. solvingkidscancer.org.uk/ appeal/jude Your support is hugely appreciated. to go in level, so we need to protect him better. “It’s a shame [about the penalty] because if that ball falls anywhere else Tyler [Blackett] gets there, because he was so close, but it fell really kindly for the taker to score. Luton showed why they are where they are in the table today. We need to dust ourselves down and quickly move on to Tuesday, which we need to hit with energy and a little more quality than we showed today.” was simple as that. We wanted to get as much pressure on the ball as high up as possible because the balls were coming in from deeper areas into our last line and we weren’t getting enough in those first contact.

“We were getting contacts but they weren’t clean and we weren’t getting them far enough away from our goal. Then we started losing a lot of second balls in the middle of the balls which I’d felt we dealt really well with in the first half.”
