WARD MCAULIFFE I do. We used to go to the East Sprague DriveIn all the time, even during the winter because they had in-car heaters. What was your favorite movie? It was probably Friday the 13th only because when it first came out, it was kind of scary and so it was fun to be outside watching that.

MATT DAVIS Yes. What is your favorite memory? My then-high school sweetheart, my wife now, and I used to go to the drive-in down by the Y, and every Friday night we would take my parents’ van and stock up on food and watch the double feature.

Yes I do. What are you going to miss about them? I’m not sure I’m going to miss anything about them because I like going to movies in any way, shape or form. But you know it was kind of fun to go in your car, I guess. It was just something different, you know.

CAROLYN PETRIE Oh you bet! I saw many of them when I was a kid growing up. What is your favorite memory of drive-in movies? You know, the one I think of most is we saw The Ten Commandments. … When I think of memories I think of that.

BERNIE YOUNGBLUT I definitely do. What was your favorite movie? I’m not sure about my favorite movie, but like, I always remember going to the East Sprague Drive-In, the East Trent Drive-In, the Autovue, the Y Drive-In, the West End Drive-In, and also the Cedar. I went to all those and wish there were still drive-in movies.
