STORIA

Nel 1968 il maestro d’arte Gianni Marchetti fonda il Mobilificio d’Arte Marchetti, da una profonda conoscenza del legno, senso estetico e originalità, tramandati e coltivati tutti in famiglia, e che ancora oggi continua con grande passione. Oltre al profumo del legno, qui si respira il fascino di un antico mestiere, da cui nascono oggetti preziosi, che uniscono il sapore della tradizione artigiana alla ricerca, l’innovazione e il design. “Ho ereditato da mio padre la passione per le antiche tecniche artigianali, la cultura del dettaglio e l’entusiasmo per la ricerca. FORZA DELLA NATURA

La madia D 114 gioca su un sottile equilibrio tra materiali, linee ed architetture essenziali, il tutto esaltando sempre l’essenza del legno. L’esterno è in quercia esotica tagliata ad ascia e scapezzata a mano con un forte intervento di sabbiatura. La struttura e l’interno dei cassetti sono in listellare placcato ontano mentre il rivestimento del top, la fascia frontale e gli zoccoli sono in acciaio naturale protetto a cera. Le parti in metallo sono disponibili anche cromate e le tavole in legno si possono patinare in tutti i colori della nostra finitura maestrale. I cassetti hanno doppie guide metalliche ad estrazione totale ed ammortizzatori di chiusura.

The sideboard D 114 treads a fine line between materials, lines and essential architectures, with the essence of wood always in the forefront. The external part is in exotic oak cut by axe and carved by hand, with a strong sandblast. The structure and the internal part of the drawers are in blockboard veneered in alder while the covering of the top, the frontal band and the bases are in natural steel, protected with wax. The metal parts are available also chromium-plated and the wooden boards can be finished in any colour of our maestrale finish. The drawers have double total extraction metal guides with integrated shock absorber.

Libreria bifacciale con basamenti in plexiglass PG 700 lunghezza 150 cm, profondità massima 36 cm, altezza 198 cm. La finitura è patina MAESTRALE latte e laccato burro. La struttura è in gattice massiccio. Il nuovo sistema per il bifacciale prevede tutti i montanti verticali interi, mentre le mensole orizzontali si incastrano con code di rondine daun lato e dall’altro, lasciando a vista il taglio al centro della mensola.

Bifacial bookcase with plexiglass bases PG 700 length 150 cm, depth 36 cm, height 198 cm. In MAESTRALE latte and laccato burro finish. The structure is in solid light poplar. The new system for the bifacial bookcase has all the side-panels as a whole vertical piece, while the horizontal shelves fit together by the means of dovetails. The cutting in the middle of the shelves will be visible.

L’anta fotografata è stata realizzata con disegno “cespitosa” all’esterno e “strati” all’interno. I basamenti sono in plexiglass spessore 4 cm. Al suo interno sono fotografati tre pomoli D113 nebulosa pesca. L’anta è in listellare con bordo massiccio in rovere placcata 20/10 in essenza di rovere ed ha una apertura con “premi e torna” con ammortizzatore integrato. La struttura è in ontano massiccio e lo schienale in listellare placcato tanganica.

The photographed door has been realized with the “cespitosa” design on the external part and with the “strati” design on the internal part. The bases are in plexiglass thickness 4 cm. On the inside of the cabinet there are 3 handles D 113 nebulosa pesca. The door is in blockboard with border in solid oak veneered 20/10 in oak wood and it has a push-pull opening with integrated shock absorber. The structure is in solid alder and the back panel in blockboard veneered in tanganyika wood.

Il sistema librerie è realizzato tutto in massello di gattice ed è adattabile a qualsiasi dimensione. L’anta è in listellare placcato con un cartella da 20 decimi di rovere, è scorrevole su un binario e si può avere 150 x 150 H cm oppure 120 x 150 H cm.

Questa composizione è in lunghezza 400 cm, profondità massima 48 cm e altezza 220 cm. L’anta e alcune mensole scelte per creare alcune linee sono state patinate in MAESTRALE latte, LACCATO burro è il resto della struttura mentre lo schienale interno all’anta è in LACCATO fondente. The bookcase system is realized all in solid poplar and it can fit any dimension. The door is in blockboard veneered with a layer of 20 tenth of oak, it slides on one track and is available 150 x 150 H cm or 120 x 150 H cm.

Mensole Zanzibar FG 909/G larghezza al centimetro, profondità 22 o 34 cm, altezza 9 cm. La finitura è in patina MAESTRALE latte e retro in LACCATO burro. Le mensole Zanzibar possono essere apribili nel fronte e diventare dei cassetti porta oggetti. Il top e il fondo sono in listellare placcato rovere e la fascia frontale è in massiccio di rovere. The Zanzibar shelves can be opened on the frontal part and they can become glove boxes. The top and the base are in blockboard veneered in oak and the frontal band is in solid oak. This is a kind of wood characterized by a strong and nervous fibre and by natural cracks that we control by the means of iron blocks put under the top.

La struttura esterna è in ciliegio massiccio, mentre le parti interne sono in ontano massiccio. Mensole Zanzibar FG 909/G larghezza al centimetro, profondità 22 o 34 cm, altezza 9 cm. La finitura è in patina MAESTRALE latte e retro in LACCATO burro. Le mensole Zanzibar possono essere apribili nel fronte e diventare dei cassetti porta oggetti. Il top e il fondo sono in listellare placcato rovere e la fascia frontale è in massiccio di rovere. La struttura interna per il fissaggio a muro è in ontano massiccio.

Chest of drawers TC 053/B width 120 cm, depth 52 cm, height 94 cm. In MAESTRALE latte finish. With eight ceramic handles D 98, “bottone bianco”, realized by hand-work and intentionally different in shapes and dimensions thanks to the hand of the craftsman who in this project wants to put the uniqueness of the handle in the forefront. The external structure is in solid cherry while the internal parts are in solid alder. Zanzibar shelves FG 909/G width to the centimetre, depth 22 or 34 cm, height 9 cm. The finish is in MAESTRALE latte and back in LACCATO burro. The Zanzibar shelves can be opened on the frontal part and they can become glove boxes. The top and the base are in blockboard veneered in oak and the frontal band is in solid oak. The internal structure for the fixing to the wall is in solid alder.

PATINA MAESTRALE

Il look della patina MAESTRALE prevede la presenza di differenze di tonalità nello stesso mobile o di effetti di venatura leggera e/o marcata in quanto esalta il legno sottostante. Per ottenere questo particolare effetto, il legno viene corroso con varie tecniche sino a tirane fuori la “costa” dura della venatura e quindi al tatto il mobile è rugoso. Il tocco finale è piacevolmente soffice in quanto ad uno strato leggero di vernice matt, il mobile viene rifinito con cera d’api. La trasparenza del colore e la marcatura della venatura del legno sottostante non permette di poter mescolare mobili con essenze diverse senza notarne la differenza. Queste sono peculiari caratteristiche della patina MAESTRALE.

MAESTRALE FINISH

The Maestrale finish has different timber tones within the one piece of furniture. It may also have variations in grain and antiquing to highlight the natural characteristics of the timber. To obtain this particular effect the wood is eroded to the core using various techniques so the piece has a fine corrugated texture. It is then coated with a light layer of matt varnish and finally with bees wax, resulting in a pleasant, soft finish. The transparency of the finish and the variation in the grain of the wood means the difference in the individual pieces, when combined, will not go unnoticed. These are the distinctive features of Maestrale wood finish.
