The company will join Publix, JoAnn Fabrics, PetSmart, The Sports Authority and Lowe’s Home Improvement at the center and will be the third Nordstrom Rack location in the greater Tampa, FL area. The company is also scheduled to open a 39,000 sq.ft. bi-level Nordstrom Rack at The Shops at Skyview Center, a 700,000 sq.ft. shopping center located along College Point Boulevard in Queens, NY during fall 2014, as well as its first Brooklyn, NY location along Fulton Street during spring 2014 and a second Brooklyn location at Gateway Center during the fall. Plans also call for the company to enter the Canada market this year and take over several locations vacated by Sears. It will be the third Neighborhood Market store in the area. The company is also opening a Walmart Neighborhood Market store at the Mercado Center, located along Mission College Boulevard in Santa Clara, CA during spring 2014. The company is also planning to open a 135,000 sq.ft. Sam’s Club and fuel station located along southeastern Delaware Avenue in Ankeny, IA during spring 2015. It will be the second Sam’s Club in the Des Moines, IO metropolitan area. The company, offering general merchandise, groceries, health and beauty items and electronics, trades as Walmart, Walmart Supercenter and Walmart Neighborhood Market and currently operates more than 9,000 locations nationwide and internationally. Trader Joe’s Co.
