Main Arena With 11 049m2 of uninterrupted floor space, the Main Arena is ideal for a diverse range of events such as exhibitions, large conventions, banquets, musical extravaganzas, rock concerts, film shoots, product launches and sporting events. Main features of this area include cinema style seating capacity of 12 000, standing and seated combination capacity of 19 328 which includes stadium tiered seating of 4 000. Mezzanine Level An extra 2 500m2 provides excellent extended space for exhibitions, as well as additional concert and show seating.
General Information The venue is committed to providing a hasslefree experience to all of its visitors. The entrances, as well as the ablution facilities are equipped for the physically disabled. Floor Plans The events department provides the service of drawing individually designed floorplans for all events. Accommodation There is an abundance of accommodation in close proximity to the venue, ranging from 5 star hotels to guest lodges and B&B’s. Air Conditioning/Heating System Eight tower units are available for hire to control the temperature in the Main Arena.
Catering All beverage and catering services are contracted out to specialised catering companies. The Coca-Cola dome’s food & beverage concessionaires are able to assist the client with all their catering requirements. This includes the use of the food-court situated in the Main Arena, as well as banquet/cocktail style catering for VIP and banquet functions. Generators The venue is equipped with three 250KVA generators for back-up emergency power and lighting and one 500KVA generator that backs up the power on the Main Arena ducting. Location An attractive feature of the venue is its location, which is conveniently accessed from major freeways and off main arterial routes. It is 40 minutes from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport and 10 minutes from Lanseria Airport. The venue caters for
Parking Areas 9 000 tarred parking bays are located in the Northgate precinct, 4 000 of which are located in the Coca-Cola dome main parking area. Safety and Security The venue boasts a state-of-the-art security system. The BMS System is a 24-hour control Automotive Building Management System with closed circuit cameras. It is controlled from the control room that overlooks the Main Arena. WiFi The venue is Wi-Fi enabled, giving patrons and clients easy access to the internet.

Medical Clinic A medical clinic is situated on the Main Arena and has a furnished waiting/check-in room with a fully equipped medical room readily available for all events.

The Hospitality Suites There are four suites located on the Mezzanine Level of the venue overlooking the Main Arena. They are excellent for cocktail functions, exclusive VIP dining, exhibitor lounges, press conferences, seminars and boardroom meetings.
Banking Facilities Two ATM facilities, situated in the Main Arena are available for use during events.
