Sweetwater Hospital Association Sweetwater Hospital Association (SHA) provides the community with a first-class hospital that is the envy of much larger communities. Lifestar serves Monroe County In edition to the excellent Monroe County Ambulance Service, a University of Tennessee Lifestar medical helicopter is stationed at Sweetwater’s newest fire hall providing local patients the fastest transport time possible to the Level I Trauma Center at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
