Here in Denmark many of our song writters express feelings through songs, and songs are like art. We have a singer called Rasmus Seebach, he is a really popular singer who wrote a song which called “Den jeg er” (Who I am). The song is about him and his dad, his dad died when Rasmus was 16 years old. Rasmus´’s dad was a singer too, they were a kind of like best friends, but in his song he tells about that his dad has made him to the person he is today. Some Danish art can be a lot of transgressive and provocative. We are really free in the way we express ourselves. But something is also really traditional. The picture of vagina is very transgressive and provocative. The art in Denmark can be so provocative that some people are killed or threathened because of it. The art in Romania Like every other country, Romania has different types of art, different ways that people use to express their feelings. But, considering the fact that the day before I write this was the day dedicated to the man who turned the art in eternal love declaration, I will start by talking about him. Mihai Eminescu was, from my point of view, the best poet from the Romanian literature. He broke barriers between the writer and the reader with his unique way of composing and he fulfilled his dream of living forever by his love poems, which are read nowadays by everyone. That’s why I think we should follow his example of “finding our true” selves” as he said in one of his poems. Then, we live in the 21st century. The technology has evolved a lot and almost every person listen at least twice a day a couple of songs from radio. I noticed that a lot of songs interpreted by Romanian artists are very popular in other countries. For example, the song “Dragostea din tei” (also known as "Numa Numa" or "Mai Ya hee") interpreted by the Romanian bad O-Zone had a really big success in Denmark, or modern artists like Otilia are well known in Turkey. And common artists or these common preferences in music helped us bind some new friendships. Expression through art: In my country I consider to be art almost everywhere: in museums, street art, paintings, songs, theatre, dances and the list may go on . I consider art like a language which is understood by everyone, there are many famous examples of paintings like “Cina cea de taina”(The Lord’s supper), “Madonna cu sfantul Giovano”(Madonna with Saint Giovano),”Monalisa” or “Crearea lui Adam”(The creation of Adam) in which were found codes and secret words on the back. Also in songs we find messages about broken hearts, pain, selfish, love and so on. A dance on a slow and sad song will give you the impression of a sad story behind it. In theatre the actors give live to a story also by art and by face’s expressions. In the big cities, on the boring, old and abandoned buildings are drawed in funny cartoons or scenes from nature or you can find positive messages which can make your day better.

Art in Poland: Art is very important in every human's live. We can express our feelings, emotions, thoughts and views through this. In 70's and 80's people wasn't free so they couldn't openly proclaim their views. Polish artists (especially musicians and writers) illegally share their reluctance to the government. Music has become an aid in fight with the communist regime. The most popular bands and artists in those days were: Perfekt, Grzegorz Ciechowski, Kult, Budka Suflera and so on. They expressed everything what they felt. The most popular painter was Matejko. Nowadays here is a lot of famous singers and bands. For example Dawid Podsiadło, LemON, Bracia and so on.

Art - for everyone it means something different. This is our way to express ourselves, show our personality. No one of us has the same look and feeling about art. I think that artists are very valuable and empathic people. Art is very important for me, I love music, I think that it's the most beautiful kind of art. Music tells us a story, sometimes even without using words. Nothing can bring on so many feelings and chills like this. Music connects people. But I also admire another kinds of art like; painting, dancing, acting or writing. Every kind have fans from all sides of world. In my opinion we couldn’t' exist without art. When we're leaving something after us, it makes us meaningful.

Art in Turkey Art takes an important place in our lives. If someone wants to make something about art like dancing, drawing they must have a talent so everyone can’t be an artist and they need to use their feelings and develops a different insight towards art according to their social, culture and economic background. Art is starting the day when we born and it continues in our lives. Some of people find their talent but some of people’s talent found by the other people but unfortunately we can’t use our talent freely in Turkey because if you do something what a bad thing about government or if you criticize the government they arrest you. For example Can Dündar and Erdem Gül are Turkish journalists and writers. They have been at prison because of their thought. I can say that everybody in the world use art in their daily life with no doubt. Even I use it now while writing this article by sharing my feelings. But when it comes especially to Turkey; one can clearly see that Turkish people really love to dance and sometimes we wear traditional clothes for that which is also a kind of art i think. We actually dont have parties like other countries but at our weddings we dance a lot, with our traditional musics. Of course we dont use music only at weddings or for traditional dances but we also use it to reduce our stress. It is a common thing now that everybody has headphones. We listen, we day dream while listening and it can make us even laugh and cry. We can have special music groups, special songs, we can express ourselves by dancing by songs by playing an instrument like Expressions through art

piano or by drawing something, like me, cause i usually express my feelings by doing them. One use art everywhere in his/her life and these things about art, like a song, a book, a drawing or somebody in our life, and art is so important that they can even change our life. Also i think even falling in love is a branch of art. There are much more things about art in life, but words are not enough to explain it. I’ll leave some links here, something i love about art. By team 3 We in Denmark are not very structured in our way of behaving. But then we are so definitely in our way to make art. We can paint what we won’t I Denmark, but in many others County's you cannot paint what you want. I think that art is very important because it is an inspiration in our lives. We're doing different things inspired by art. Best in art is that we can express ourselves. We can listen music which we like or painting pictures. Nobody can say us that It's nice or not. Summarize, art is a way of interpretation and show yourself. To see transgressive art is everyday life for Danish people. Everyone now the Mohammed drawings, it is not a story we are proud about. It has caused violence and death threats. That is a good example on how we Danish people see on art. You can be impressed and overwhelmed and at the same time dislike what you see and feel frustrated. We have many examples of art that to other nationalities seem threatening. In Denmark is it not illegal to paint a politician who is shot right through the eye and tortured.

For me the art is a way through we can express our feelings, is a way of communication. With this we can show when we are happy or unhappy and with the art we can do the people to be happy. Through art we can speak and we can be understood, we can show our talents and we can do that life to be beautiful and easy, we can create the way of life which we want. The art is a story without end which many people interpret it in a different way.

Art is a different world in which we discover always new things and the only limit is our creativity. Art helps us to express ourselves more easily without being necessarily need talent at drawing or painting. In Romania a lot of people are known for the beautiful creations as Stefan Lucian , Nicolae Tonitza Stefan Dumitrescu or Constantin Brâncuși.

I don't see art as a message that needs to be understood, art must convey us the feeling like artist. Without art our lives would become very boring. İs art limited to just museums or theater? We think that 'it is not' If we want to understand what art is, we can say: Art is a productive line between the artist and the audience. And then, there is question, too. What is it role? It can be give pleasure, big understand capable, talent of speak and entertainment. And art makes us relax and feels better after a long school or work day. we use it every place in our life to spend good times. If we had a life without art, we would be so un meaning, without imaginary, music children would not be able to learn. Besides, our minds need to create creative things and improve our visual intelligent and art give us another way to look at life, insight of our existence. Every art comes to us in its way and reflects artist's mind, we look at or watch, we can understand different qualities about it. Everything that we consider as a 'beautiful' depend on the creative artists. Nice pictures, songs, homes… In Turkey we are limited at art. If we listen some songs with swear word in front of our family, they can’t give us tolerance. Sometimes, I agree that this opinion, so child or adult always listen music like this and it can affect their behavior. At the sometime in Turkey, - especially in our beliefs- if we draw pictures full of with despising to our messenger (Mohammed) or God other Muslim’s don’t Expressions through art

tolerate us. Because they are so sacred for Muslims and we are not so much free about it. But we are not too much instructed about this, we can put statue in our houses, we can put nude things. In my opinion; art can be free. every out free to do what they want or how they can definite themselves through art. every people knows that Muslims conservative about our beliefs. If we look nude pictures or drawing nude, people have not positive attitude toward us.

For me art is a one of the best way to honor our history. I think that remember about past help us today and coach us for future. Many people better understand some historical events when they can see it on a painting. It’s really important. Many works of polish art were lost forever during the First and Second World War. But some great paintings were saving so we can admire the works of the most important polish painter nowadays too.

My favourite artist is Jan Matejko. He painted for example the most famous polish battle - The Battle of Grunwald.

Another painter, Wojciech Kossak , is famous for putting horses on his works. For example on “Piłsudski horseback”.

We also have a picture that is more recognizable than the author. This painting is “Panorama Racławicka” and it’s really big ( 15x114 meters). These and many other are really important for polish culture. I think that art is very important because it is an inspiration in our lives. We're doing different things inspired by art. Best in art is that we can express ourselves. We can listen music which we like or painting pictures. Nobody can say us that It's nice or not. Expression through art By team number four In Denmark we have a tradition - we gather in big groups for instance at sporting events and cheer on each other with occasional songs and rhymes, which we shout out loudly, to support the players. We almost feel like one person at these matches because everyone has the same hope - that Denmark will win. Denmark is a small country so winning means a lot to us and we get really proud. In 1992 the Danish national football team won the European Championship and people were - and still are so proud and talk about it constantly. The songs and rhymes sung at the events support this feeling. They are easy to sing and are often about the small country of Denmark “winning” over bigger countries. In Denmark we like to sing along if we hear a good song you can also experience this when going to a concert.

art is almost everywhere in our life and we use it for express our feelings and thoughts. In my opinion we can’t say art is totally free. Because art improves according to the nations and traditions. It is difficult for an artwork against the traditions win recognition. I think if art is performed without damaging anybody’s national, regional and ethnic values, it can make feel people good. Apart from the international role of art, it has an individual role. for example; when I’m happy, upset or angry I listen to music or I draw cartoon. I reflect my current mood to my drawing or I listen music about my current mood. In Turkey, art generally occurs with mixed of past values and modern art. In Turkey art has got a limit and I agree with that. Maybe it isn’t totally free but that doesn’t mean it is totally restricting.

Give examples - write about a song Maybe you have seen pictures from the old times where you can see how difficult life was in ancient times. Sometimes you can see immediately what the picture shows - but if you look deeper you can find hidden messages. Sometimes it can be a secret message or maybe the painter wants to teach you something. Other pictures are abstract and you have to analyze the painting very carefully before you can understand the meaning or the purpose.

In my opinion, art is a fascinating form of communication, especially if we perceive that our message is sent. Communication through art is an art in the true sense. We face daily increasingly used this communication, We encounter billboards communicate various things, such as posters and the posters for theater. All these sources of modern art a message telling us which we perceive in our way and it depends on how open we are. I was always drawn to art and I find that is a very unusual means of communication because only by drawing on a texture you do only after the colors you choose, you your soul mood showing you that you have thus unable to communicate through art much better than you do sometimes in their own words. Congratulations persons endowed and able to exploit the gift to convey feeling and emotions so amazing, just by word as they make “art , an art that increasingly rare .

Art is something really hard to describe. It is a thing, which everyone has. By art we can say what we think or what we feel. It can help us describe our life. Art isn’t only pictures, art is everything which is around us- nature, music, photography or movies. Art is the best way to tell apart us from others. Art is stocked in us. We are born with this and it cannot be remove. Mark Rothko, an American artist who described himself as an “abstract painter”, once said that he was not the kind of person interested in the relationship of form, color or similar. He didn’t define himself as an abstractionist, but rather as a person interested only in expressing basic human emotions such as doom, tragedy, ecstasy and so on.

Art is not only a school object, it is a way of expression your feelings, your thoughts, in one word your LIFE. Art is present in all around us: in songs, in literature, in pictures, in movie, in gastronomy, in architecture. For me, art is “THE BEAUTIFUL” in the world. I want to speak about culinary art because this art you can taste, smell and see. Chef is an artist because he decorates the plate like a painter. I chose the culinary art because I think it is very important in our life. Some people think they “eat to live” (ordinary people) and others think “live to eat" (chefs because they work all they in kitchen and they must to try). People eat more than usual when they are stressed or depressed. Cooking is a usual hobby, more people when they cook while they relax. In the next I want to present some of to famous recipes from Romania. Cozonac -a kind of Stollen made from leavened dough, into which milk, eggs, sugar, butter and other ingredients are mixed together before baking.

Team 5 Expressions through art, I have the impression that people express their feelings and opinions through music, art and songs. I think art and music is the most valuable way of expressions in the humanity, because even though we speak in different languages, we all speak in the same languages through music and art. A piece of music or a painting can bring up lots of the same meaningful feelings for every single person. We kind of share the same feeling, and that give a special bond between the people who have shared the experience of the song or art. That means in an interpreted way, that the people have been through the same, and therefore gets a mutually respect for each other. In Denmark we are a very proud people and we often get the mutually feeling of respect through the national song. I have the experience that we all feel connected. Because of our culture in Denmark, we have a very transgressive kind of art. In Denmark we can express ourselves in every possible way. This has led to a very provocative way of art in music and in our paintings. People in Denmark use that in their art with a modern twist, which is very structured. Expression is what connects us to one another. It is what makes us unique. By expressing emotion and feeling, we show our individual assets - our sensitivity, our tastes. We all, as human beings have amazingly unique personalities and we can learn about ourselves from responding to the expression of other people. By expressing yourself you can create fine art painting, for example. If you possess creativity, you definitely can make art. Be inspired by all the things around you, be spontaneous, be brave. For artists, painting is wonderful way to relax and is kind of a fulfillment. When you have created something beautiful and enjoyable, you take pride in your job and get this sense of fulfillment. For some people it is an outlet from the pressures of work and family situations. Art is a way person can express how he/she feels at the time. People may also wish to spread a good feeling they have and share it with others in the hopes of brightening their day.

Art is an all embracing notion (music, painting, theatre, literature and so on). Art had the most important role in the development of the mankind. The first were found on walls of ancient caves. So we can guess that painting was the first way of art. Painting is the most understandable way of art because it gives us the most full and vivid impression. Art helps us to understand people who lived hundred years ago and to learn the history of mankind. Art creates our notion about beauty and harmony. Art helps people to understand outside world and each other. Art develops our good qualities. Art has a great educational significance. Art brings people up. The language of art is universal. Everybody, In spite of age, nationality, occupation understands what is said by the painter. Art gives people a possibility to express ourselves and to become famous. Also in Turkey the role of art is very different. There are many successful artists and work in music, painting and literacy. And also Atatürk attached importance to art. He was very interested in the arts. Atatürk explains the importance given to art with a sentence. He said ‘Without art one of the nation’s childhood has been lost.’ So; we shouldn’t forget a society can’t develop itself without art. Art in a large definition, include music, theatre, film, dance and literature, By art, we express our imagination in non-grammatical ways. In my opinion, the most common artist’s goal is to show art, to see it. Galleries are one of my favorite types of art, they give people a chance to show their work. It’s a place where artists invest time into their pieces of art. An another type of art is dance, my favorite one, I love it. In Romanian we use that to show our country by our traditional dances and of course, the art of costumes is another type of art, It’s very interesting the construction, the texture and the type, it needs a lot of time, attention and patience. Music. Another type of art, we express a lot of feelings by that, because it has words. The tonality, the rhythm and the type of song show very much about the context. Expression is one of the most important things in people's lives. By art we can show ourselves, our emotions, our minds and feelings. It isn't just a paint on paper or word in the notebook. It's our expression. Everyone understands that in a different way. That makes us unique. There are many types of art. Paintings, songs, poems or movies, but it's not everything. We can be inspired by all what's around us. Nature, friends or family-people who are meaningful for us. My favorites types of art are galleries. There I have a chance to see many expressions, collected in one place. All paintings are exceptional, because every of them was made by different artist with his own vision. I think it's very inspiring to see others expression and ideas which come of their story. Music is also an interesting part in my life. In my favorite songs I can identify myself in every single word. I think that's exactly the art. Things which make you happy with no reason. Things which help you to express yourself. In my opinion art is very important in human lives. Some people knows art only as drawings or paintings, but music, films, literature even clothes are art. We can express ourselves as art, our emotions and feelings. For example, when I’m sad, angry or bored i’m listening to music. I’ve got some categories for it. Loud music for stressful situations, something faster and happier for dull situations. When artists are painting for them it’s like going to bed after hard day or when composer writes new symphony, he feels like a superhero of music, he can do everything. In our lives we can see art everywhere. It’s for example graffiti. We can find it on a street, in school, even on train. I think it makes boring, gray cities colorful, but it’s still illegal. Dancing is art too. From tango, through hip-hop to ballet. Katrine, DK Amalia, Ro Ceren, Ro Andreea,T Julia, Pl Kajetan, Pl

Team 6 Daciana-Mihaela is writing: The art shows the world: what kind of people we are, in what environment we live and how we feel at any time. Me as a photograph, I like so much photography. Below are some of my pictures. The best :). Besides photography, music and dance are the most used in art. Dancing makes you feel good, happy and forget the other worries + is good for health, keeps you in shape. Music has a very important role in our lives. She has the power to clear our minds and our hearts. She can tell our life stories, our love stories. It helps us to express our sentimental feelings to an important, particular person.

Iustina-Maria is writhing: What is art for me: Art is a unique way to express your feelings and each artist choose to express this with his rules. For me, art is a way to calm down, a way to log out with everything that happens around me. I think every person has a way whit that feels much better. Art express in music, pictures and everything that happens around us. Also i like fashion, I like to shopping, when I’m in a shop i feel better than anywhere. I don’t know if boys know the feeling, but shopping for girls is like football for boys. So, art makes us happy, do what you want and what makes you happy and somebody will see that art in you. You can feel a lot though when you for example listening to music. songs can describe many things for example: Life Stories, Love Stories, Sadness ect. Sometimes when you see a picture, you can see different things, sometimes it’s also difficult to see what the painting present. The first time you look at the painting you see something, and then second time you look at it, you see a far different painting or picture. Art in Denmark is very brutal, and can sometimes make people sad and angry. Racism is a very big thing in Denmark. All in Europe know the Mohammed-Drawings

I love art… İ want to add picture I drew here. But unfortunately in Turkey we aren’t so free to draw or sing. For example, if we draw a picture of victims our parents are warning us. Now we have got a lot of freedom in expressing our thoughts. You can be original and show what you feel. Nobody can tell you what you should do. Many of my favorite drawers show problems of normal people, politicians, religion and stuff like that in a very intelligent and funny way. I love it because for me art is really important to show my feelings. I Expressions through art

can do everything with it. Sometimes the way of thinking by artists can be controversial and some people don’t like it and it’s okay because it shows that everybody have their own opinion. I love to draw, here is something that I have created:

Ola Krzyżaniak (PL) is writing: People from all over the world are sharing their feelings through art. They are singing or playing songs, writing poetry, books and painting. In 1944-1990 there was a censure in Poland. People couldn’t say what they think and do what they want. They were trying to express themselves by sharing their art illegally, in a ‘second circuit’. Their art was also shared incomplete, censured. Famous musician from this time was Jacek Kaczmarski. Also well-known were two poets Zbigniew Herbert and Tadeusz Różewicz. Main reason of censure was criticizing government and political system - communism by authors.

Expression through art Right now the VM in handball for women is taking place in Denmark, so many Danes are at the game to support the Danish ladies. Maybe you know it but every game starts with the national songs or melodies. In Denmark we have a national song, so before the game starts we sing it. It is really good to start with something whose lyrics every Dane knows. It makes you feel like you are a part of something bigger. It gives you such a big rush, even if you don’t know the person you are sitting next to, you can just hug them and it won’t feel weird if the Danish team scores. The best thing about the song is that it is about sticking together even through hard times, and it’s also about Danish history and landscape. For a long period of time, we have included our landscape in art. For instance, the Skagen painters are really popular in Denmark. Skagen is the northern point of Denmark. In Denmark the weather changes constantly. One minute it is raining, the other it is sunny. This diversity is an inspiration to many artists. The Skagen paintings are so popular because there is a very special light in Skagen. For instance, this painting by Peder Severin Krøyer is called Skagensjæger in English that means Skagenshunter.

We are also very transgressive in our art, for instant this picture. When you first see the picture, you think it is a terrible picture. But if you analyze it, it gets a different meaning. Who is at the other end of the umbilical cord and who is controlling our lives? If you are looking at the baby, he/she is hanging in the dark. The painter of this is Michael Kvium who is known to be really depressive. I think Michael Kvium’s message is that life is just dark and misery and the skull is in a spotlight. I think it means the death is just the meaning of life, it is just something we are waiting for.

Art plays an important and maybe the most significant role in people’s life. It describes our way of thinking, our evolution as human beings, our relationships with the others and in my opinion, it is a way to communicate. What would we be without music, paintings, literature? The answer is-nothing. We would be just empty bottles, empty souls without a certain personality. So, I can say that art is a sustenance for souls, which expresses everything and is everything. Throughout history we, Romanians, were under the domination of several nations but we didn’t allow them to destroy our national spirit. Inside us we kept what was the most precious and, even if some historical events didn’t let us express ourselves directly, we expressed and continued to express ourselves through art. One of our the most representative personality is Constantin Brancusi who is considered to be the patriarch of modern sculpture. One of his major groups of sculptures is the "Bird in Space" (1) and the list may continue with the "Table of Silence” (2),the "Endless Column"(3) and “The Gate of Kiss”(4). Another way in which we express ourselves is through the songs named doinas. The doina is usually sung to express feelings of sadness; for example, when we miss someone or we suffer because of love problems, when we have troubles in life and so on. Of course, not everybody has an extraordinary talent for this, but this is one of the ways we let the negative feelings go and feel less pain.

Instrumental doinas are played by various types of flutes and one of the most important representative singer -and who is very respected- from our country is Gheorghe Zamfir (left). He has a doina named „doina for mourning” and also other known-songs which are listened especially among old people such as „The Lonely Shepherd”, "Summer Love","Blue Navajo" etc.

To Plato, art represented the imitation of nature, but in the 19th century photography took over that function and in the 20th, abstract art overturned the whole notion that art was about representation.

Art plays a large part in our lives. Imagine, just for a minute, a world without art! Art stimulates different parts of our brains which make us laugh or incite us, with a whole gamut of emotions. Art gives us the opportunity to show our creativity and express ourselves. One of the many famous painters from my country is Nicolae Grigorescu, who painted the “Chariot with bulls( the first picture on the next page). It represents a hilly landscape full of vegetation, crossed by a dirty road. In the foreground, arranged slightly obliquely to the viewer, a chariot drawn by two oxen seems to be advancing beyond the edges of the paper. Behind him, other bull-drawn chariots are lost in the distance.

The picture below is a sculpture of Decebal, the last king of Medieval Dacia.

Art, in its simplest sense, is a form of communication. In my judgement art is important in our life and it has a big influence on our worldview and our feelings. I couldn’t agree more with that. When it comes to me, in my worst moments, music makes me feel happy. Art can also function as an historical souvenir, for example “The Battle of Grunwald” as this painting illustrates it.

There is no doubt about the fact that art is also a version of communication. A painter sends us a message, but he doesn’t say it so explicitly. We have to think over his hidden message and it always has a metaphor. For instance, “The Scream” has a lot of meanings.

Art isn’t just music or paintings. It also includes architecture, films, books, etc. In Poland there are a lot of historical buildings such as those dating back from Middle Ages.

Art is really important for me. I express myself by listening to and producing music. Music plays an important role in my life. I love all kinds of music no matter the genre. I can’t usually express myself through words to people or myself, so I do it by making music. I have been expressing my feelings through music and art anonymously for a while now. I do it anonymously because not all kinds of thoughts and feelings are welcome here in my country. People may think you are harmful or either a crazy person. I make music usually when I’m depressed or when I feel lonely. Here are two covers of my albums with links:

Team 8 Octavian, RO, writes: For me, art is the most beautiful thing of human-beings. Through art we discover ourselves, our personality and even a way to express our existence. For instance, art is my main point of view. I am a good popping-dancer, I am a very good beatboxer, I play darbouka, I am an actor, and all of this because I am so into it. Finally, my words about art are summarized in one quote wrote by Victor Hugo: “Art is like walking with big steps.” (My dance performance) ----------------------------------------------------------------Here in Romania there are writers like Mihai Eminescu, renowned for his love poems, painters like Stefan Luchian who sold his painting “Two faces” for three hundred thousand euros, sculptors like Constantin Brancusi, the author of “Miss Pogany” which is classified by criticism as one of the most famous and imposing portrait of twentieth century. We also express art through theatre, as example Radu Beligan (on 15 December 2013, confirmed by Guinness World Records, the actor received the title of "The oldest active theatre actor" on the planet). “Two faces” by Stefan Luchian

“Miss Pogany” by Constantin Brancusi

On 14 december 2015, Radu Beligan his the 97’th anniversary.

Adelin writes: For me, music is art. I mean, every day I discover new types of songs which make me feel better and stronger.

Music can inspire you to create your own way in life. The type of music you are listening to says a lot of things about your personality, that is why you can discover a new person very easy if you see what kind of music he likes.

Music can help you to make new friends. You can meet people at music concerts, people who appreciate the same type of music like you. In that what you can make friends for life and spending time with them will always be a real pleasure.

Julia writes: People are accompanied by art from the beginning of their existence. Nothing unusual because it’s the most beautiful way to express ourselves, our feelings and thoughts. Sometimes people are too shy to say loud what do they think, but they can perfectly show it on paintings. Lyrics and films can inspire us and teach us something important. Wiktor vrites: My way of expressing art, and expressing myself is model building. I started adventure with my hobby about two years ago, one day I went to the toys shop (I had to buy present for my cousin) and saw one cool model, it was WRC Toyota Celica with Castrol stickers and i thought that it would look nice on my shelf so I bought it. After 3 days it was completed, it looked terrible but for me it was the most beautiful thing in the world. I started buying next kits, building it, painting and putting it on shelf. I started looking on Facebook for other people with same passion and joined to the huge group with over 4000 members, I wrote with few modelers from around the world, they told me about some new techniques which could help my little cars look even more realistic. My first car that looked pretty cool was Toyota Supra mk4, but when I bought this kit I thought that original wheels look awful so I decided to order set of wheels from Hong Kong, they costed me 15$ and i had to wait about 2 weeks for them but it was worth it. Wheels were printed on 3D printer and they looked gorgeous, I also ordered metal muffler and together with wheels it looked wonderful. Now after almost 2 years i can tell that I’m good at model building, I paint them by myself, I polish them and order lots of extra parts to give them custom look. My favourite cars are JDM (Japan Domestic Market) they are from Japanese brands like: Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi or for example Subaru. Now I will explain how does model building look like: 1. I order model kit from EBay or just go to model shop and get one that I like 2. I look for parts that I would like to use for example: new wheels, body kit, bucket seats, spoilers and tons of other things 3. I start by painting body, I have airbrush and compressor at home so I mix paint with thinner and put it on body (mixing paint and painting itself is hard to learn and takes hours of practice) 4. I start putting together undercarriage parts (coil overs, springs, brakes etc.) of course they have to be painted 5. I glue together interior (also painted before) 6. Put everything together and glue in body detail like mirrors and other small things Maybe it sounds like work for 2 hours but when you pay attention to the smallest details it takes a lot of time and money but it gives you a lot of satisfaction especially when you reach the perfection. Here are some of my finished cars and Works in Progress i hope that everybody will like my way of expressing art

Ozan writes: In my opinion, art is really important in our life. We can express ourselves with music or paintings. But in our country we can’t express ourselves as free as we want to. Some things may lead to misunderstanding. Like, if we draw a naked woman some people may get angry about it because it’s forbidden in our religion. We express ourselves with art but we must do it by obeying some rules. About the art in the street, i can give an example from graffiti art. It’s not really welcome here. We can draw or type whatever we want but if anyone sees us they usually get upset or call the police.

Also about the music, as a rap listener, my favorite singers sometimes have to change their lyrics due to rules here. If we swear and use bad words much they think its harmful and bad for children and ban it from televisions and radios.

Team 9 Fatma Ecem KILINÇ TR: The development of art education in Turkey, especially in Republic period has gained an important progress. Art is not free in Turkey one hundred percent but not restricted one hundred percent. We can draw pictures according to ethics rules, at school but this doesn’t mean that we cannot draw anywhere. There are age restrictions on issues in Turkey. For example theater, cinema. We cannot sing abusive songs in front of old people because of respect. Art is a work Expressions through art

of heart because is very difficult to find a job related to art in Turkey. According to me ART; is an expression of human’s thought. Beauty is created by art. For me; music is one of the most beautiful art. Music relaxes people. I really like music, especially Japanese music. If I’m happy, angry, rueful or tired, I always listen to music. I take time to the music even in my busiest time. I also like dancing. At home, I turn on the music and dance:) In fact, when I hear a song I can’t stop myself and I start dancing even if I’m in a shopping center or in the streets. By the way I used to a stringed (saz, bağlama) instrument a years ago. (it’s a traditional Turkish instrument). Briefly, music and dance are always in my life and in my heart. I love theater. I played for the school theater last year.

Beyza DOĞAN TR: In Turkey, young people are more encouraged to arts in big cities compared to the small towns. But, unfortunately it is not enough and our way of expressing ourselves through art hasn’t development so much. For instance, if someone uses dark colors or violence at his/her drawings, “others” may think he/she has a psychological problem or he/she is suffering from a subconscious childhood fear. If a teenager listens to slow music so much than “others” may think that he/she is depressed so badly. If someone draws a naked girl or boy, then others may “think” he/she is pervert. Shortly, I can say we are free in expressing ourselves through art only if it is “fine”. Sometimes music is a savior for us on an endless journey. We feel as if the journey takes less. When I’m sad or depressed, music is an amazing savior again. Or while we are cleaning up, listening to the music makes us feel less tired and it seems as if it takes less time.

Arustei Alexandru RO: We all know that expressing our feelings it’s very important because those feelings are connecting people from all over the world. I consider that art is the best way to express what you feel in certain moments. In Romania, art makes a difference upon my generation, we are very close to music specially. Of course drawing, acting, painting and other forms of art are respected here but, when it comes to graffiti, authorities don’t understand the concept so they made it illegal. I’m happy to see that new generations are listening to old songs, kind that is proving music’s ability to last in time and to deliver a message to all kind of people. In the end, art is a way of living, a way of learning and the best way of relaxing. Everyone can be an artist, in order to become one, you need inspiration, a lot of work and talent. In Romania the chances to become an famous artist are real because here we are promoting art, all forms of art, even in small cities like mine. George-ROMANIA Art is one of the most important things for me because art is like a projector of human's heart. No matter if it is a dance, a play, a song or a painting these makes me feel better. When I listen a song I like to think I'm a rock star and I'm having a concert in front of 90.000 people. When I'm watching a theatre play or a film that I like very much, motivates me to become an actor. In my opinion art is an endless river of imagination.

Sedef Topalı-Turkey: People always needs to something to reflect themselves. For this reason, they create phenomenon by adding their feelings and thoughts. This phenomenon is "art". Art is a way to self-expression and reaching other audiences. Arts washes the prejudice. Arts allows you to become civilized. It allows to think of innovative. Therefore, the importance of art in human life undiscussables. Expressions through art

Although art should be free, this situation different a little in Turkey. Turkish peoples don’t tolerate to pictures or cartoon which criticized to religious topics, prophet and Quran. On the other hand, we can’ t listens to songs which are including abusive and slang words when we together with our parents. Of course such songs or pictures are available but our society sees that as disrespect. Although new and modern generation accepted it, each family don’t show tolerance.

Unforgettable Turkish artists

One of Traditional Turkish Dance You can see the art of marbling from this link: http://youtu.be/GrAm_IPL7Bg Honciuc Sergiu-Romania: Art, in my opinion is a way that makes people feel the stance of the artist, Happiness, Humor, Love, Pain… Art cannot be understood by everyone, some can see a cloth covered with randomly dropped colors, others see an expensive picture or some special ones can see the way the artist created it. You know when a picture or a piece of music makes you tear or goosebumps. If you don't put passion in it then you can consider it a waste of time, Nature is art, pictures with city lights is art, blacksmith profession is art. My favorite type of art is music, because when I'm happy, sad, or just bored I listen to it and I feel the message. Expressions through art

Bianca Butacu | Romania : For me, art is not a thing...it’s a way, and every person can choose this way to go in the future. We have so many examples of people who also chose art as a profession, hobby or just took art like a life style, because colors, and the power to give life to a picture, a sound, a feeling and also a word make you feel unique. Art is also a way to relax, and you don't need talent to make art, just inspiration and motivation. You take a pencil and put it on a paper, and begin to draw a line, a circle or whatever you want. You just need to feel you in your art. If you can’t relax in this way, just close your eyes and sing your favorite song, dance on it and try to imagine the music video. You don’t need to learn from somewhere how this “art” works, you just need to feel it, because true art springs from you. We live in a modern world now, and so many people say that you can’t make money from art, because art is not a good job and you waste your time with it. But this isn’t true. If you’re original, and you can convey your emotions using your art in your own style it’s the best.

Here is some of my digital drawings. Digital drawing is a popular modern style of drawing which replaced traditional one. I don’t know if you heard about it, but it’s the most used style of art nowadays. With this type of drawing/painting are made landscapes from movies, sci-fi effects and also cartoons.

Also let’s not forget about Photoshop, that is a mode of art too. Expressions through art

Team 11 EXPRESSİON THROUGH ART Art is an ology accepted by all communities in the world. People use art for explaining themselves. I explain myself with graffiti. Graffiti is not a crime it's art but many people hate graffiti in Turkey. Many graffiti writers are not free in Turkey because writers usually use bad Expressions through art

words. So many people don't like graffiti and are afraid of graffiti. Actually I love graffiti very much because when I am happy, sad, depressed etc,I make graffiti and I relax. Art is a tool for reaching other people. Maybe art is a lifestyle for some people. Art is in our lives with us everywhere, every time. When we walk wearing headphones or see a portrait, a picture, we are integrated with art. All communities should attach importance to art. Developer of the Turkey Government Mustafa Kemal AtatĂźrk said for this subject : ''A nation without art means a people without lifeblood.'' So we must follow our leader and attach importance to art.

Finally I made a graffiti for this paragraph :)

Art - basic component of culture. Painting, sculpture, theatre, music, cinema or video games this is exactly art. We treat art as something completely normal and natural. It is every day, every moment with us. In my opinion art is very important for everyone. If art doesn’t exist, our life would be boring. Through art we can admire everything what surround us.

Art is everywhere. With the art we are surrounded by whether it’s a painting, music or even videos can have a huge impact on our mood and emotions. Some arts are very dark and can cause depression but we can choose what kind of art we want to be surrounded by on our own. The importance of art in our daily lives is very similar to music. Just like art, music can make life extremely joyful. If you have something hard or difficult to work on or feeling tired, and energetic song will likely wake up. Similarly, when stress is high, many people find that relaxing to calming music is something eases mind. I like art. I’ve never known how can the people paint or draw so good. I don’t know how to draw anything, but I’m learning how to play the guitar. Photography is an art too. Doing anything beautiful needs huge amount of time and work. That’s why I’m fascinated by artists. They spent so much time doing something. For example; Leonardo da Vinci’s pictures are masterpiece. The same like Mozart’s music. Art open up people minds. Art expends imagination. That’s amazing.

For me art is like a cup of coffee in the morning, like a warm summer day, like the joy of the first snowfall, is like an unexpected gift from a good friend, like a long conversation, like a game that I play when I was little, is like a warm hug. Art is a kiss, is a word, is life or is death, art is beauty. Art is perfection.

I'm an actor and I do not know how my life would look like without theater, without art.

In my opinion, art is a special and beautiful branch of life, maybe the most beautiful one because it has a special and unique element found everywhere in this world. Most people think of music when they hear “art”, which is partially correct, maybe because music is the most popular form of art, but this doesn’t mean it is the only one. Art is made of numerous creations we do using our bodies, literally EVERYTHING. From songs, to poetry; from paintings to dancing; from photographing to doing amazing football skills, everything in our lives has to be, and will be touched by art no matter what. Everyday tasks like cooking can easily be turned into art with a little bit of skill. Gardening can and eventually will be turned into art because this hobby is bound to increase your skills. Long story short, everything we do is art if we are skilled at it, or at least we’re talented. That’s why one must always search for their inner, hidden ability, because by exposing it to the open world everyone will win out of it, the world because ART is going to make it a better place and the person because doing what you like will eventually bring you the happiness we all seek. Berkay Martyna Gizem Igor Andrei Mihnea

Cansu; It has many benefits. Music helps learning and prevents depression. It also improves immune system. I listen to music very much and it makes me feel better and happier. I think everybody should listen to music because it is too healthy. Seren; Besides music, theatre which is kind of art, very important for our country. Theatre has developed highly throughout history. But theatre has lost its importance because of cinema. Nearly all of the theatre schools is closed. Some people don’t realize the importance of theatre. I think all kinds of art including theatre must be done freely. Theatre shows all emotions, daily events in people’s life. For some people like me, theatre is life style. Thanks to theatre, people can express themselves easily. They can explain all things which is difficult to say.

Andrei: For me art is one of the most sublime method of exprimation. It has the role to transmit emotions and feelings through different methods as theater, film, dance, picture, drawing, music, sculpture, etc. Each person has his own style to express his thoughts to others. Through time art was considered the base of a culture. In our time, we keept them as a memory of our ancestor and we consider them to be our national treasure. For example, in Romania we have preserved the art and now it is something that represents our nation. Some of these arts are: -Sculptures(The Infinity Column)

MUSIC- THE ONLY ESCAPE FROM THIS MAD WORLD- by Ioana, Romania The music makes me feel free and happy. Why? Because I felt something when I´ve put my headphones on. Music is the only way to discover another world, your world and make you to know what you like. I don´t know if you will understand me, but I am so happy when I´m listening a good music. So that is my real opinion about that. Also, I think, is like an open door to your world, to your private life. I can´t stay home without music for my soul. -Is more than music. It gives a strong feeling about everything.

Mateusz Scientists still can’t fully explain music. The couple of sound waves that make you happy. Anyway, music is very old and special sort of art. Different people like different kinds of music. Genre someone listens to can tell a lot about a person. For me, music is very comfortable way to express myself. Sharing music, I listen to with my friends and family I can tell them what I think about life, world, love and other things without saying a word. When I’m in a bad mood, when I’m sad or angry, music lets me escape from this world. Also when I’m very happy or excited, music helps me enjoy and live my life well. Music change lives. As someone once said: “Music makes you braver.”, so if you want to change your life - you listen to music. Music is kind of a key to your soul. Sometimes music can affect you more than e.g. an excellent film. You only have to be in the right mood, and listen to the right song in a right time. That is why I love music. That’s why people do.
