2013 MEDIA GUIDELINES The Texas soccer program, head coach Tom Stone and student –athletes adhere to the media policies of the Texas Tech Athletics Department and work alongside the Texas Tech Athletics Communications staff to promote and manage coverage of the program to local, regional and national media. The program is covered on a consistent basis during the regular season and is open by appointment to interview requests from recognized media outlets covering the program for a legitimate journalistic purpose. All interview requests concerning the Texas Tech soccer program must be made through Assistant Director of Athletics Communications Britton Drown or a member of the Texas Tech Athletics Communications staff. Every effort will be made to work with members of the media to promote coverage of the Texas Tech soccer program by making coaches and student athletes readily accessible.

ATHLETE INTERVIEWS AND EVENT COVERAGE Head soccer coach Tom Stone and select players will be available to the media upon appointments made with the Texas Tech Athletics Communications staff. Requests for interviews with athletes should be directed to Assistant Director Britton Drown at least 24 hours in advance. Every effort possible will be made to arrange interviews with coaches and athletes per the request of a recognized media outlet. Media outlets wishing to cover Texas Tech soccer events should request proper credentials prior to the day of the match. Requests for credentials can be made through Britton Drown or by calling the Texas Tech athletics communications office at (806) 742-2770. Athletes are typically made available at least once a week during the season. These availabilities will be announced to the media at least 24 hours in advance through email. If you would like to be made aware of dates and times of media opportunities with the Texas Tech soccer team, please contact Britton Drown or the Texas Tech Athletics Communications office.

The website also contains schedules, rosters and match information for the Texas Tech soccer team. VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS Broadcast quality video highlights for select Texas Tech soccer matches can be found by visiting the official fileshare website of Texas Tech Athletics at www.TTUMedia. com. A login and password is required to access the website, and will be provided by contacting Britton Drown or a representative of the Texas Tech athletics communications staff. PHOTOS AND PHOTO REQUESTS Photo requests of specific athletes or events must be emailed to Britton Drown (britton.drown@ttu.edu) or a member of the Texas Tech athletics communications staff.
