Summer Arts Festival
Riverboat Days is a community festival organized to showcase the community vitality, culture and especially the heritage of Terrace and area. This weeklong celebration has something for everyone including sports events, music, theatre, historical tours and visual arts displays. The festival’s name commemorates the period when massive sternwheelers, once crucial to the town’s economy, cruised the Skeena River. From live music, gallery tours, hands on events for the whole family, to anything and everything arts related save the dates June 29th to July 8th. The TDAC SUMMER ARTS FAIR is a 10 day event including Canada Day celebrations. It features, performances, gala concerts, art show openings, workshop series, demonstrations, Children’s Arts Day Camp, a Mornings in Motion series, Decorated Bike Parade, Master’s Classes, Paper Play, Fabric and Fibre Fridays, Artists in Residence and even Noon Hour Noise: a lunchtime series of casual concerts given by our local musicians, singers, and bands . An EMPTY BOWLS fundraiser is also part of the festival.
